Race 1   OUTBACK TRADING HANDICAP TROT
HAKA PRIDE - slow to begin when mixing its gait and broke shortly after the start losing its chance.
MACKALI - broke at the start and trailed the field. Stewards extended some leniency given the delay to the start with this mare being given one final opportunity to perform satisfactorily.
LITTLEBITOFLOVE - delayed the start when becoming fractious. Broke near the 450 metres. Authorisation of this runner's fifth placing was withheld until it was confirmed that the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
THE REV - broke near the 1600 metres losing its chance.
OUR GRACIE - lay in at various stages contacting marker pegs.
MEKONG PRINCESS - trotted roughly throughout the home straight and could not be fully tested.
BELMONT'S GREATEST - lost ground rounding the home turn.
Race 2   MANAWATU ITM MOBILE PACE
SUNHI MAGIC - broke in the score up after stepping over a shadow of a lighting pole and lost its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners. Driver T Chmiel advised that connections would be adding a shadow roll for the second day.
NICKY JAY - broke briefly in the score up. Weakened final turn.
LADY AMEERA - paced roughly then broke briefly shortly after the start. Paced roughly again near the 950 metres when attempting to maintain the position outside the leader.
OHOKA BANDIT - Driver B Orange advised that the gelding pulled a flat tyre from the 600 metres after it deflated.
ROYAL - Trainer T Macfarlane was cautioned after the mare was presented with removable deafeners which were not notified. This gear was removed prior to the start. Driver B Butcher was reminded of his obligations in relation to the manner in which he drove late in the score up. Held up for some distance rounding the final bend.
Race 3   MANELINE FARRIER SUPPLIES MOBILE PACE
The start was deferred by 1 minute at the request of the TAB.
KATCHING STARS - raced three wide early and middle stages.
TROOPER COOPER - raced three wide without cover from inside the 1000 metres.
DOWNTOWN BABE - raced three wide with cover early and middle stages before crossing to race outside the leader near the 1200 metres.
STAMP DUTY(AUS) - paced roughly entering the home straight then broke near the 100 metres losing its chance. A warning was placed on the colt's racing manners.
JETSON HUNTER - checked by a breaking runner passing the 100 metres.
Race 4   ROYDEN WILLIAMS PHOTOGRAPHY MOBILE PACE
DIANNE LORENA - raced three wide from the 1050 metres.
CONTRACTUAL ISSUES - lost contact with the body of the field briefly during the middle stages. Lost contact again inside the 1000 metres.
MILNER - held up rounding the final bend and early stages of the home straight.
Race 5   HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY CARL MEIKLEJOHN MOBILE PACE
GOLDEN LACE - unable to maintain its position late in the score up despite the efforts of Driver J Curtin. Commenced to weaken near the 400 metres to finish towards the rear. When questioned regarding the performance Driver J Curtin stated that the filly had hung at various stages throughout and had got on one rein proving difficult to drive.
STINGER LINDENNY - shifted up the track abruptly passing the 150 metres before being straightened by Junior Driver D Ferguson.
PETER FORSBERG - out of position at the start. Junior Driver J Cowden, assisted by J Abernethy, was cautioned for failing to maintain his position on the mobile until dispatch.
SHESHEARTANDSOLE - raced three wide early stages.
LINCOLN MOMENT - out of position at the start. Driver K Marshall was cautioned for failing to maintain his position on the mobile until dispatch. Over-raced when being restrained to take cover in the early stages.
ONEDIN PUNTER - held up early final turn.
Race 6   HAPPY RETIREMENT BRYAN TAYLOR MOBILE PACE
MISTER MIGHTY - held up early final turn.
OLDE OAK EMMA - held up early final turn.
LINCOLN LOVELY - held up early final turn.
ARTFILLY CRAFTED - paced roughly early. Raced keenly middle stages.
ABSOLUT RUSSIAN - Driver B Orange advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 7   PAUL CLARIDGE ELECTRICAL MOBILE PACE
FINAL DELIGHT - Driver B Orange briefly dropped his right foot from the sulky foot rest when activating gear in the home straight.
SANTANNA MACH - Driver D Butcher reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
TIA DALMA - raced wide into the first bend then paced roughly and briefly broke passing the 1750 metres.
HELLO IT'S ME - broke passing the 1600 metres losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
DIVINIA BELLEZZA - held up final turn. Lay in the early stages of the home straight then paced roughly passing the 100 metres.
EMMI ROSE - weakened final turn.
Race 8   MANAWATU HARNESS MEMBERS NEXT MEET THURSDAY MOBILE PACE
JENORA - Trainer T Chmiel was cautioned for presenting the mare without the notified sliding blinds. Over-raced score up.
PATS DRAGON - shifted out rounding the first turn when leading when appearing to shy away from a shadow of a lighting pole. Held up early final turn.
PORT DELIGHT - held up and then broke near the 300 metres checking MUCHO MACHO MAN. When questioned Driver K Marshall advised that his mare had resented being restrained as THE KAPITI EXPRESS shifted away from the marker line forward of him resulting in PORT DELIGHT breaking for several strides. After considering the matter no further action was deemed necessary.
MISTER HARRIS - raced three wide early.
THUNDERFROMTHETHRONE - out of position at the start. Driver S Dickson was cautioned for failing to maintain his position on the mobile until dispatch.
MUCHO MACHO MAN - paced roughly in the score up and was back from position at dispatch. Checked by the breaking PORT DELIGHT near the 300 metres and stumbled losing ground.
