Following the running of this event Stewards spoke with Starter Mr B Ward who advised that the mobile unexpectedly gained speed prior to the start resulting in several runners being out of position at the dispatch point. |

ROSINUPTHEBOW - when questioned regarding the performance driver J Cox advised that the mare races at its best when not having to work too hard and is able to be driven with a sit. Mr Cox added that given ROSINUPTHEBOW had to race wide round the final bend and the fast closing sectional he was not disappointed with the effort. | |
WOLF WEST - late scratching on Veterinary advice at 3.27 pm after being found to be lame in the left hind leg. |
