ARMA TWOSPOONS was incorrectly shown as a scratching in Race 10 on the Harness Racing NZ website for approximately 20 minutes after 1pm today however at no time showed as a scratching with the TAB.

After obtaining approval from the HRNZ Chief Executive, a Request for a Ruling was lodged with the JCA under Rule 834(7) who determined that ARMA TWOSPOONS be reinstated into the field.

The circumstances which led to the incorrect information being published will be addressed with the Club.

CAESAR'S QUEST - held up final bend.
DOC SEELSTER - broke briefly in the early stages of the score up however was in position at the start. Forced wider on the track passing the 1600 metres.
MADAME FROST - the start was delayed due to the horse requiring gear attention.
XMAS BAY - raced wide early stages.
GLACIER COASTER - held up on the final bend. Broke near the 300 metres.
ALEXY - raced wide early stages.
FEAR ROCKN - R Sissons was an authorised driver change due to R Reekie being injured. Mr Reekie was advised that he must supply a medical clearance prior to resuming driving.
FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ - shifted out passing the 1600 metres forcing DOC SEELSTER to race wider on the track. Driver C Negus (assisted by B Negus) defended a breach of Rule 869(4)(6)(b)(c) in that she shifted outwards passing the 1600 metres forcing DOC SEELSTER to race wider on the track. After viewing replays and hearing the evidence from all parties, the JCA upheld the charge and Mrs Negus was fined $200. Mrs Negus was also spoken to advisedly for the manner she drove her horse out in the home straight.
AVEROSS RUSTLER - paced roughly near the 1600 metres after a slight easing of the pace. Claimed by S Lock.
NUI BA DEN - no claims were lodged. Paced roughly on the final bend and had to be steadied.
Race 2   GERALDINE BUTCHERY TROT
HALFWAY THERE - broke shortly after the start.
GO MARG - hampered by a breaking runner passing the 250 metres.
KEN'S DREAM - broke briefly after 200 metres. Trotted roughly in the home straight.
LINE A LOVE - raced wide early stages. Hung inwards throughout the home straight.
PASTRANA - broke near the 250 metres. Driver J Cox reported the gelding had cast the off front shoe while in a break.
I'VE GOT ATTITUDE - broke at the start losing all chance.
Race 3   TEAM TEAL MOBILE PACE
NATURAL FIRE - raced wide early stages.
MAXIMILIAN - broke near the 1400 metres. When spoken to regarding this driver R McIlwrick reported that in his opinion the gelding had been unsuited to the tight nature of the track.
FRANCO HATTON - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
MACH O'MELLEY - raced wide early stages.
NADIRA FRANCO - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
EMMA G - placed in restricted room near the 250 metres for a short distance.
PRESIDENT PAT - paced roughly when racing over the crossing near the 1300 metres. Driver N Burton was warned to exercise care when shifting ground near the 250 metres placing an outside runner in restricted room.
Race 4   TEMUKA TRANSPORT (1967) LTD PACE
MEGAROCK - broke at the start. Had to be steadied near the 700 metres after a slight easing of the pace and lost momentum. Held up for clear racing room until late in the run home.
AUCHTERCAIRN - over-raced when being restrained racing into the first bend. Driver J Young-Grant reported the deafeners were not activated due to the cord breaking.
WESTBURN BLISS - broke at the start. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
IRON WOMAN - raced without both hind shoes. Trainer K Kelly was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the horse to race with shoes in poor condition. Hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Had to be steadied passing the 1200 metres after a slight easing of the pace.
WEBS REACTOR - over-raced passing the 1200 metres and became awkwardly placed to the inside of AUCHTERCAIRN after driver C Markham had activated the hopple shorteners. Held up early stages of the run home.
PENULTIMATE FELLA - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Had to be steadied passing the 1200 metres after a slight easing of the pace.
MAYHEM IN MALIBU - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Raced greenly when being improved to the lead approaching the 1400 metres resulting in the gelding's inside sulky tyre being struck and punctured by AUCHTERCAIRN which was over-racing. Notwithstanding this driver S Ottley was warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground.
CAMBIRE - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
EVIDENTLY - had to be steadied passing the 1200 metres after a slight easing of the pace.
HANDSOME HARRY - became awkwardly placed close to the sulky of MYANMAR PRINCE passing the 1200 metres after a slight easing of the pace.
RUBY'S A DELIGHT - had to be steadied passing the 1200 metres after a slight easing of the pace.
UNO MIA - broke at the start. Held up for the majority of the home straight.
NOT OVER - raced without both front shoes after the gelding sprung a shoe in the preliminary. Had to be steadied passing the 1200 metres after a slight easing of the pace.
Race 5   MORRISONS SADDLERY/QUALITY TYRES GERALDINE MOBILE PACE
SHE'S SO COOL - trainer S McMullan was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after SHE'S SO COOL was presented with removable deafeners which had not been notified. Over-raced early stages when being restrained to obtain cover. Hung outwards and had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the home straight.
BUCKSKIN - raced wide early stages. Held up early stages of the run home.
EL CHAPO - when questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer M Fuller advised the gelding was able to obtain a favourable position after showing speed at the start and had appreciated racing on the grass surface today.
BEEPS - hung inwards throughout the run home.
TICKING OVER - hung inwards throughout the run home. Placed on the unruly for mobile starts at the request of the connections.
LIVING DELIGHT - over-raced early and middle stages.
MIDNIGHT IN MEMPHIS - paced roughly in the home straight.
Race 6   FOUR PEAKS TRANSPORT TROT
RUSTY I AM - held up in the middle stages of the home straight and had to shift wider on the track to obtain clear racing room. Driver P Wakelin was spoken to advisedly for the manner she shifted ground outwards. Ms Wakelin admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that she used her whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After hearing penalty submissions, the JCA suspended Ms Wakelin's licence from the conclusion of racing on 6 February up to and including 20 February 2020 (4 days).
JACCKA JOSH - stood on the mark hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
TEQUILA SUNSET - broke shortly after the start. Broke again near the 400 metres.
BRIGHT GLOW - hampered by a breaking runner leaving the final bend.
ROCKNPOP - broke near the 250 metres. Authorisation of 1st place being awarded was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations.
THE PEAKY BLINDER - when questioned regarding the performance, driver B Orange advised the gelding had been unsuited to the rise in class of opposition today.
DD'S SUPER STUART - hampered by JACCKA JOSH at the start. Trotted roughly at various stages during the running. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the home straight.
DEBORAHS GEM - broke after 150 metres. Broke again near the 200 metres.
RITES OF ZHOU - broke passing the 400 metres.
MAJESTIC ROSE - hung inwards final bend. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
Race 7   EQUINE VET SERVICES / BRENT WHITE RACING MOBILE PACE
SPICY GIRL BECQUI - hung inwards racing into the first bend and struck a pylon which was dislodged. Over-raced middle stages. Held up on the final bend.
BEEN TO JENNY'S - driver K Cameron reported he dropped his whip passing the 400 metres.
DIANNE LORENA - paced roughly in the home straight.
SZYBKA LANE - raced wide early stages. Held up early stages of the run home.
MINNELLI SMILE - raced wide early and middle stages. Held up throughout the run home.
SHOT IN THE DARK - raced wide early stages. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the home straight.
JETENARA - held up early stages of the run home.
I'M JIMMY JAMES - lay inwards in the home straight.
DIXIE JAZZ - held up leaving the final bend.

Race 8   "WHAT THE HILL" ORARI CHALLENGE STAKES (MOBILE TROT)
ONE TWO MENNY - broke in the score up losing all chance.
ONE GUZ HALL - broke near the 300 metres.
GAYTANA - trotted roughly at various stages throughout. Broke near the 500 metres.
KAHRESS - hampered by a breaking runner on the final bend.
CRACKER HILL - briefly hampered by a breaking runner in the early stages of the run home.
TAILORED ELEGANCE - broke passing the 100 metres and shifted outwards.
ONE MAJIC KENNY - broke early in the score up and was back from the unruly position at the start. Held up early stages of the run home.
Race 9   PINELEA FARM "TERROR TO LOVE" FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
SHARDAN SUZIE - bucked in the early stages of the score up losing all chance and was retired from the race. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
LA BELLA VITA - when questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer B Weaver advised the mare had received no luck in her recent races at Blenheim and had been able to take advantage of a good draw today after recently coming off the unruly.
EMMERSYN LEE - raced wide early and middle stages.
DANCE WITH STARS - paced roughly through the early stages. Raced wide early and middle stages.
LOOK SHARP - raced wide into the first bend. Over-raced middle stages. Held up early stages of the run home.
SOUNDSLIKEART - checked and broke near the 950 metres. Held up early in the run home when laying inwards.
ANAMAJOR - shifted out near the 950 metres checking FLAME LADY (M Anderson) which paced roughly resulting in the trailing SOUNDSLIKEART (J Dunn) being checked. Driver T Williams defended a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) alleging he had driven carelessly at this time. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards, drivers T Williams, M Anderson and J Dunn, the JCA dismissed the charge.
FLAME LADY - paced roughly as the start was effected. Paced roughly near the 950 metres after being checked by ANAMAJOR which shifted outwards. Weakened from the 700 metres. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the mare with connections in the coming days.
Co-Trainer C Dalgety advised Stewards on 12 February that FLAME LADY has shown no ill-effects from its run at Orari on 5 February and will continue with its current preparation.
Race 10   PLACEMAKERS TIMARU / TWIZEL HANDICAP PACE
FYNN FROST - began awkwardly.
THATS BETTOR - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
BEAU MAJOR - late scratching on veterinary advice. A veterinary clearance is required prior to the gelding resuming.
GOTTA FUTURE - over-raced middle stages. Held up early stages of the run home.
THE DIVA - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
PRECIOUS SARA - tangled away. Raced wide without cover from the 1200 metres. Weakened final bend.
FLETCH - hung inwards throughout the home straight.
SILK - tangled away. Hung outwards in the home straight.
MORDECAI - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Held up for clear racing room until late in the run home.
Race 11   SLEEPYHEAD HANDICAP TROT
PACINO - trotted roughly racing over the crossing near the 1300 metres. Weakened from the 700 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery with connections in the coming days.
SOME TIME - broke shortly after the start. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 500 metres.
ONE OVER DOVER - lay inwards on the final bend contacting several track markers. Trotted roughly in the home straight.
ALVIRA HEST - lay inwards on the final bend contacting several track markers.
CHIEF OF STAFF - trotted roughly in the home straight.
ALI LINDENNY - broke shortly after the start.
PHOEBE ONYX - hampered near the 500 metres with driver J Cox becoming unbalanced in the sulky.
MISSIE CASTLETON - broke at the start. Over-raced middle stages. Hampered near the 500 metres.
BREENYS CULLEN - broke at the start before switching to a pace and had to be broken up by its driver.
JIMMY CARTER - slow to begin. Lay inwards in the home straight. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver M Williamson reported he attempted to improve three wide from near the 800 metres however horses ahead of him had shifted into the three wide line resulting in him being unable to improve his position.
Race 12   ECOLAB MOBILE PACE
LEADING THE WAY - held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
POCKET CALL - held up final bend.
VINTAGE BEACH - raced wide early and middle stages. Lay inwards in the home straight.
JUST BEN - hung outwards and weakened on the final bend.
AMERICAN FLYER - raced wide early stages. Held up final bend.
SAGANO - raced keenly throughout. Held up final bend and for the majority of the home straight.
LITTLE RAIN - hung outwards racing into the first bend and broke after the mare's hind leg made contact with the sulky of POCKET CALL resulting in trailing runners being checked. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
BETTOR ROCK AGAIN - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500 metres. Held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
HONOUR SCROLL - had to be steadied passing the 1000 metres after a slight easing of the pace.
DARRYL KERRIGAN - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500 metres.
VIGOROSO - back from the unruly position at the start. Had to be steadied near the 1000 metres after a slight easing of the pace.
