General

General
Pre-race blood testing was carried out today.

Leniency was shown by the Stewards when assessing horse penalties today, due to the extremely strong winds encountered.

Due to a shortage of eligible junior drivers for Race 6 at this meeting, R Swain the trainer of MAGNETIC WATCH sought permission from the Stewards to engage local trial licence holder T Larsen for the drive on this gelding. As Stewards were satisfied no other junior driver was available, permission was granted pursuant to the Drivers Licence Regulations.
