Cambridge Harness - Sunday, 29th December 2019
Race 2 - gavelhouse.com MOBILE PACE
When questioned regarding the improved performance of EMMI ROSE Trainer S Doody advised that it was predominantly due to it being able to race in the lead. He explained that the mare has a strong aversion to the track grit coming in contact with its face when in trailing positions which results in her racing erratically. He said this was demonstrated at its last start (24th December) when pacing roughly shortly after the start and again entering the home straight. He further added that such was the horses reaction to kickback that she raced in an undercheck, noseflap, pacifier and deafeners.
