Race 6 - DALLARD BUILDING LTD MOBILE PACE
Stewards concluded their investigation into an incident passing the 700 metres when A SMIDGEN MORE broke. After speaking with junior horseman M Hurrell and senior driver B McLellan and viewing the relevant films Stewards spoke advisedly with Mr Hurrell to exercise greater care when shifting ground.
Race 7 - REGENT CAR COURT HANDICAP PACE
Trainer B Gray advised the Stewards on 12 December that following its last race day start NOTA BENE DENARIO has had its hocks injected.

Race 1   VINCENT STANDING AT ALABAR MOBILE PACE
HOLD THUMBS - held up over the concluding stages.
PICK SIX TELF - paced roughly on various occasions in the home straight.
MARSUE - raced wide in the early stages before being restrained to take cover. Weakened from the 300 metres. Returned to the birdcage enclosure with blood present in both nostrils and following a post-race Veterinary examination was declared a bleeder and as such stood down for the mandatory period of 30 days. Connections were advised a Veterinary clearance including the result of a clear scope would be required prior to completing one satisfactory trial before resuming.
STAVROS THE TERROR - raced wide into the first bend.
Race 2   THANK YOU ROSS CLARK MOBILE TROT
MISS BAMBOOCHA - broke in the score-up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
COUNT EYRE - broke passing the 20 metres. Stewards withheld authorisation of 3rd placing being awarded until they were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations at this stage of the race.
JACCKA JEORGE - broke in the score-up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
CRUSHER COLLINS - trotted roughly and broke passing the 400 metres. Driver N Williamson reported the mare had trotted indifferently throughout.
Race 3   PHILLIPS HORSE TRANSPORT MOBILE PACE
MELTON MAFIA - raced three-wide without cover in the early stages before being restrained to take cover passing the 1700 metres.
TARTAN ROBYN - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained to take cover.
KRAMER - weakened rounding the final bend.
BUNTER'S DREAM - lay inwards entering the home straight.
Race 4   MACCA LODGE MOBILE PACE
DIANNE LORENA - weakened from the 1000 metres. When questioned regarding the performance driver N Williamson expressed disappointment however could offer no tangible explanation. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to initially have an elevated heart rate. Stewards will follow up with trainer B Gray in the coming days.
MYRCELLA - driver C Lee was shown the replays and spoken to advisedly regarding his use of the whip outside the confines of the sulky.
LUCAS HOOD - weakened from the 500 metres. When questioned regarding the performance driver R McIlwrick expressed disappointment however could offer no tangible explanation.
IT AIN'T THE MONEY - hampered by a tiring runner from the 1000 metres to the 700 metres.
JIMMY RICHTER - lay inwards early in the home straight and briefly shifted into the Passing Lane before being straightened.
LOVE THE BLUES - hampered by a tiring runner from the 1000 metres to the 700 metres.
TETRICK - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained to the rear to obtain cover.
Trainer B Gray advised Stewards on 18 December that DIANNE LORENA will on longer race from his stable.
Race 5   WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
LONGUEVAL - placed in tight quarters on the back of I'M WATCHING YOU passing the 800 metres. Held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
MAYA ANGELOU - driver C Hanna was shown the replays and spoken to advisedly regarding his use of the whip outside the confines of the sulky.
YANKEE SHARD - raced wide without cover rounding the first bend. Paced roughly near the 1200 metres. Briefly paced roughly again when being shifted up the track passing the 750 metres and continued to pace roughly on various occasions thereafter.
Race 6   AON INSURANCE EQUINE STAKES MARES MOBILE PACE
VINTAGE ROSE - held up leaving the final bend.
IWANADANCEWITSUMBODY - paced roughly for a short distance passing the 1200 metres.
ANNA BARCLAY - paced roughly on various occasions during the running.
Race 7   RYAL BUSH TRANSPORT MOBILE PACE
KICKUPYAHEELS - paced roughly in the score-up.
AIRWAVES - raced wide without cover in the early stages.
TERROR THE CHRISTIAN - weakened from the 500 metres. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Cox advised he was very disappointed with the effort however could offer no tangible explanation. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the colt to have an elevated heart rate.
FIREFOREFIDDLE - paced roughly when being restrained to take cover in the early stages. Over-raced in the middle stages.
STINGRAY TARA - held up rounding the final bend.
Race 8   FISH IT LTD FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
BETTER THANA MISSUS - the near side rein pricker was removed prior to the start due to the mare warming up unfavourably.
ELLZ ANGEL - out of position at the start.
RAKARIPPA - out of position at the start.
TAD LUCAS - raced wide into the first bend before being restrained to take cover.
PRINCESS JESSIE - held up rounding the final bend.
Race 9   SEE YOU HERE NEW YEARS EVE MOBILE TROT
TWEEDLEDEE - out of position at the start.
RYDGEMONT MILLY - out of position at the start. Lay inwards on the final bend.
SUPER FAST PAT - broke passing the 500 metres losing its chance.
RYDGEMONT SON - out of position at the start. Briefly hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
FULL NOISE - out of position at the start.
WAR MACHINE - trotted roughly over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the seemingly improved performance connections advised they were not surprised by the effort. They advised the gelding has battled with injury however has plenty of ability and had benefited from a change of training regime prior to today's race.
THEODOSIA - trainer/driver C Butt was spoken to regarding the manner he drove on the final bend when electing not to take a run to his outside. Mr Butt explained that when he attempted a run wider on the track passing the 300 metres the mare had felt flat and was immediately under pressure. Mr Butt further stated he was disappointed with the run and would be having blood tests conducted on THEODOSIA in the coming days. Stewards will follow up with Mr Butt.
BENCHMARK - raced wide into the first bend.
Trainer C Butt advised Stewards on 18 December that blood tests taken from THEODOSIA following its performance at Winton revealed no abnormalities. Mr Butt added that the mare has had a change of feed since that run and has worked well this week in preparation for its engagement at Addington on Friday.
Race 10   JOHN KEENAN MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE
I'MALLABOUTTHEBASE - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained. Briefly locked sulky stays with MUCHO MACHO MAN passing the 50 metres.
NO MORE CHANGE - held up for clear racing room late in the home straight.
STUN GUN - lay inwards over the concluding stages and had to be straightened.
MUCHO MACHO MAN - marginally shifted down the track and briefly locked sulky stays with I'MALLABOUTTHEBASE passing the 50 metres.
