LOUIE THE HORSE - lay in and paced roughly rounding the first turn. Continued to lay in at various stages. Paced roughly for a stride near the 300 metres. Inconvenienced by an outside runner and locked wheels passing the 100 metres. | |
TO SIR WITH LOVE - weakened final stages. | |
ACCELERE - over-raced after being unable to obtain the lead near the 1600 metres. | |
MIGHTY LOOEE - over-raced middle stages. Held up final turn. Checked and locked wheels passing the 100 metres. | |
GLIDING AWAY - carried a flat tyre over the final stages. | |
THE EMPRESS - Driver Z Butcher admitted a charge under rule 869(3)(b) in that he shifted his mare inwards approaching the 100 metes resulting in LOUIE THE HORSE being tightened down onto MIGHTY LOOEE with both runners locking wheels and losing their chances. After hearing submission as to penalty, the JCA suspended Mr Butcher's driver's licence upto and including the 19th of December 2019 and imposed a fine of $200.00. |

COPY THAT - broke approaching the 1800 metres losing ground before settling. Was then taken forward to race outside the leader near the 1550 metres and to lead soon after. | |
ABOVE N BEYOND - shifted out rounding the final turn. When questioned regarding this, Driver J Dunn reported that the blinds which had been applied to help the gelding deal with the right handed way of racing and the shadows had caused his gelding to race fiercely, and believing that it was close to choking down elected to shift outwards. | |
SMOOTH DEAL - Driver M Purdon reported that he had been unable to activate the deafeners due to the cord coming adrift. | |
HAMPTON BANNER - crowded for some distance on the final bend. | |
LINE UP - paced roughly near the 1300 metres when being restrained to take the trail. | |
ONE CHANGE - Driver N Rasmussen was spoken to and issued with a warning for the manner in which she drove on the final turn when attempting to shift inwards while not sufficiently clear of HAMPTON BANNER which was crowded in consequence. |

BELLE OF MONTANA - shifted away from the marker line entering the first turn before improving to the lead near the 1650 metres. After reviewing the replays Stewards were satisfied that Driver Z Butcher had not forced STEP UP to race wider on the track when improving away from the marker line entering the first turn and no further action was deemed necessary. |

BIG JACK HAMMER - raced keenly in the score up. Lay in and contacted several marker pegs rounding the final turn. | |
MAJESTIC MAN - lay out entering the home straight and had to be corrected before being reluctant to shift down into the passing lane. Driver B Williamson admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than is permitted under clause (b) of the 'Use of the Whip' Regulation. After hearing submissions on penalty, the JCA suspended Mr Williamson's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on the 15th December up to and including the 27th December 2019 (5 days) and also imposed a fine of $500. | |
MONTY PYTHON - broke passing the 2300 metres and galloped for a considerable distance losing its chance. | |
MARCOOLA - commenced to improve three wide approaching the 900 metres. Forced four wide passing the 750 metres and then broke losing its chance. When questioned Driver S Tomlinson advised that MARCOOLA had not felt comfortable rounding the turns and in her opinion should not have broken after having been shifted wider by MASSIVE METRO. Miss Tomlinson further stated that the entire had not been trotting as well as in previous campaigns but that it was the connections intention to start at the Cambridge meeting on the 24th December in the trotters' mile event. | |

ANOTHER MASTERPIECE - broke at the start and settled at the rear. A warning was placed on the entire's mobile barrier record. Raced three wide from the 1200 metres. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until it was confirmed that ANOTHER MASTERPIECE had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation. | |
DANCE TIME - lay in near the 250 metres and dislodged a marker peg. | |
STAR GALLERIA - shifted in under pressure late in the run home. |
