Trainer D Simpson advised Stewards on 3 December that PARAMA has recovered well following its performance at Forbury Park last week and will continue with its current preparation.

Race 1   EQUINOX RESTAURANT PACE
JOSHUA DYLAN - raced roughly when shifting outwards near the 1050 metres.
ROCKNGOODTIME - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Over-raced in the middle stages and broke briefly near the 750 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
HANDSOME HARRY - tired from the 400 metres.
Race 2   DUNEDIN CITY MOTORS MOBILE PACE
LECONTE - hung outwards rounding the first bend. Had to be briefly restrained when placed in tight quarters passing the 1800 metres.
BARIKA - Driver N Williamson was shown the films and spoken to advisedly when placing an inside runner briefly in restricted room passing the 1800 metres. Held up rounding the final bend. Driver N Williamson reported that when the filly returned to the stable area it had some blood present in one nostril. A post race Veterinary examination deemed the horse not to be a bleeder.
Race 3   YALDHURST HOTEL HANDICAP TROT
THE NIGHT SWEATS - broke at the start losing all chance.
HORSE OF COURSE - tired from the 600 metres. Driver R McIlwrick reported an abnormal noise during the race with a post race Veterinary examination revealing the gelding to be suffering from a trachea epiglottis and was stood down pending a Veterinary clearance prior to racing again.
GAZZA GALLEON - broke after 100 metres. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had not breached the Breaking Horse regulations.
WHATWILLBEEWILLBEE - broke when leading near the 300 metres. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had not breached the Breaking Horse regulations.
HORSE OF COURSE - trainer P Williamson advised on 23 May 2020 that the gelding had successfully undergone a wind operation since his last start.
Race 4   NORWOOD FARM MACHINERY CENTRE MOBILE PACE
THE NAENAE EXPRESS - placed in restricted room passing the 150 metres.
WEE RING THE CHANGES - shifted down the track when weakening in the home straight placing inside runners in restricted room.
JIVE - hung inwards at various stages throughout the event. Driver C Thornley advised Stewards that they would be adding a rein pricker to the mare's gear.
FRAUD - was held up for racing room on the final bend.
WITH THE STARS - over-raced in the score up and was out of position at the start. Over-raced in the early stages.
TOP POCKET CHANCE - weakened from the 400 metres.
FORTY WIVES - weakened from the 500 metres.
TUAPEKA JESSIE - held up rounding the final bend. Placed in restricted room in the home straight contacting several track markers.
Race 5   NZ HORSE TRANSPORT JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when FRANCO RIOT stumbled in the score up making contact with LUCAS HOOD.
DIANNE LORENA - paced roughly in the home straight.
LUCAS HOOD - when spoken to regarding the performance of the gelding junior Driver B Laughton reported that the gelding was not suited to the sit sprint tempo of tonight's race.
FRANCO RIOT - stumbled in the score up making heavy contact with LUCAS HOOD which resulted in a false start being effected with a warning being placed on the gelding's barrier record. Underwent a Veterinary examination prior to the restart and was cleared to start. Junior Driver K Tomlinson elected to remain in position for the restart.
Race 6   NEXT RACE MEETING 18TH DECEMBER MOBILE PACE
GABBY'S STAR - held up in the latter stages of the home straight.
DELIGHT OF TEXAS - when question regarding the performance Driver M House advised he felt the horse was indifferent in it's actions with a post race Veterinary examination revealing no obvious abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with Trainer M House in the coming days.
BALIUS - weakened from the final bend.
THE CROUPIER - paced roughly passing the 1700 metres.
Trainer M House advised Stewards on 18 December that DELIGHT OF TEXAS has been sent for a lengthy spell.
Race 7   MIKE HURRING LOGGING & CONTRACTING MOBILE PACE
MAN I'M GOOD - held up near the 100 metres.
COOLHAND EASTON - raced wide in the early stages. Raced wide from the 850 metres.
IDEAL ASSET - underwent a pre race Veterinary examination and was cleared to race.
ELLNBAC - raced wide in the early stages.
IT'S ALL OVER NOW - tired rounding the final bend.
TETRICK - held up on the final bend.
CHIEF KAPAI - tired rounding the final bend.
Race 8   RICOH JUNIOR DRIVERS TROT
TWEEDLEDEE - broke at the start losing all chance.
GRAND PRINCESS - broke racing into the first bend hampering PAT THE MONKEY which in turn broke. Authorisation of 5th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied that the mare had not breached the Breaking Horse regulations.
DA MOONS MISSION - inconvenienced by breaking runners at the first bend.
CLYDE - broke after 100 metres.
PAT THE MONKEY - broke when hampered by a breaking runner at the first bend.
SUNNIVUE PHILEAH - trotted roughly rounding the final bend and broke near the 350 metres. Junior Driver J Campbell reported that he had difficulty steering the mare throughout this event.
