Race 1   VETERINARY CENTRE/JOHNSON GLUYAS TRACTORS TROT
DA MOONS MISSION - held up final bend.
LINE A LOVE - broke with 1800 metres to run.
KEN'S DREAM - held up final bend.
YEA YOU - broke in the early stages.
SHES SO RIGHT - broke near the 1300 metres.
DORA EXPLORER - fractious prior to the start. Broke near the 400 metres hampering trailing runners.
HALFWAY THERE - moved inwards as the tapes were released. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 400 metres.
PASTRANA - held up final bend. Trotted roughly then broke briefly passing the 200 metres. Broke inside the 50 metres and was lapped on at the finish by KEN'S DREAM. Relegated to 6th placing by the JCA.
APPEARANCE - hampered and forced wider on the track by a breaking runner near the 400 metres. Returned to the birdcage with a small amount of blood present in its mouth with a post-race veterinary examination confirming the mare had cut her tongue.
SUSIES WAY - broke with 1600 metres to run losing considerable ground.
CROWN RANGE - trotted roughly racing over the crossing near the 1700 metres. Broke passing the 1000 metres.
IRON EAGLE - broke at the start losing all chance.
Race 2   HOUSEKEEPERS DESIGN OAMARU/ONE SMART COFFEE HANDICAP TROT
RYDGEMONT SON - slow to begin after running outwards as the start was effected. Broke with 150 metres to run.
SMOKEY MAC - broke in the early stages. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until Stewards confirmed the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations at this point.
Race 3   MERIDIAN MALL DUNEDIN HANDICAP PACE
NORMAN RICHARDS - held up leaving the final bend and early stages of the home straight. Driver J Hay was shown the films and warned for shifting outwards abruptly near the 150 metres forcing AVEROSS RUSTLER wider on the track. Mr Hay was also warned for using his whip outside the confines of the sulky.
THE VALIANT - broke and ran inwards at the start checking DOITSON before falling to the track. Stood down pending a satisfactory trial from a stand. A post-race veterinary examination showed no abnormalities.
VINNIE RULZ - the connections advised the mare has been served since last racing. Driver M Williamson reported the mare hung inwards through the home straight.
DOITSON - checked by THE VALIANT at the start losing ground.
AVEROSS RUSTLER - over-raced passing the 1000 metres. Forced wider on the track near the 150 metres when NORMAN RICHARDS shifted outwards.
SAGWITCH - fractious prior to the start. Shifted down the track passing the 100 metres having to be straightened by driver M Hurrell.
Race 4   SPEIGHTS/DAVE OVENS BUILDER PACE
Authorisation of dividends was withheld until Stewards viewed the films to ensure that all runners were given a fair start. All matters were deemed to be racing incidents as they had occurred after the tapes had been released with all placings being duly authorised.
MY BIG ROMANCE - broke shortly after the start. Broke briefly racing over the crossing and then again near the 1400 metres losing considerable ground. Broke again with 1000 metres to run losing its chance.
ARCHAIC LUSTRE - broke at the start.
JIVE - fractious prior the start. Reared and swung sideways after the tapes had been released making contact with MOSSMAN and was retired from the event. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial from a stand.
INDULGENCE - held up final bend. Driver M Williamson reported that he had been unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
ATTACHE - fractious prior to the start and was out of position when the tapes were released. Badly checked at the start and was retired from the event.
MOSSMAN - reared when the tapes were released and then contacted by JIVE and was retired from the event. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the colt. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of the connections.
MAHARAJAH - broke at the start.
BAILEYS DIAMOND - junior driver B Laughton reported the filly had hung inwards at various stages through the home straight.
BUDVAR EYRE - B Butt was an authorised driver change due to G Smith being unwell.
THE RHYTHM OF LIFE - fractious prior to the start. Lay in near the crossing contacting several track markers.
ONEDIN SMILER - badly hampered at the start losing ground.
Race 5   FAT SALLY'S PUB & RESTAURANT DRIVERS SERIES MOBILE PACE
DREAMINSOVER - made contact with the mobile gate in the score up breaking briefly before regaining its position prior to dispatch.
EL CAPITAN - held up on the final bend.
HONOUR SCROLL - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start.
BAKER CREEK - raced wide early stages.
SENORITA MARGARITA - over-raced in the score up and broke just prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Over-raced through the middle stages. Held up on the final bend.
THATS BETTOR - hampered in the score up by a breaking runner on the front line however was in position at the start.
Race 6   FAT SALLY'S PUB & RESTAURANT DRIVERS SERIES TROT
REGAL ASPIRANT - fractious prior to the start. Broke at the crossing with 1700 metres to run hampering trailing runner and losing considerable ground.
SUNNIVUE PHILEAH - broke with 400 metres to run.
LADY HILLARY - held up final bend and early stages of the run home.
LISA MARIE P - driver J Abernethy reported that he received a flat left sulky tyre in the middle stages.
REGAL APPOINTMENT - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
MONIBURNS - over-raced passing the 1200 metres. Held up final bend.
EMMA FROST - over-raced through the middle stages.
ONLY ONE WAY - driver M Williamson reported he had not released the deafeners due to having the field covered.
CLYDE - lay in at various stages throughout the home straight.
DEBORAHS GEM - checked by a breaking runner shortly after the crossing and broke losing considerable ground.
Race 7   FAT SALLY'S PUB & RESTAURANT DRIVERS SERIES MOBILE PACE
VIGOROSO - over-raced middle stages.
FRANCO SHERBORNE - held up for clear racing room throughout the home straight with driver C Thornley advising he did not activate the gelding's removable gear.
PHOENIX ARIZONA - the required veterinary clearance was received. Over-raced middle stages. Paced roughly from the 600 metres.
HOT STARFF - over-raced when reaching the parked position passing the 800 metres.
MARKHAM EYRE - hung inwards entering the first bend shifting inside several track markers. Held up early and middle stages of the run home. Lay in late in the home straight.
GLACIER COASTER - held up middle stages of the run home.

DEUS EX - paced roughly in the score up then broke shortly after the start with a warning being placed on the gelding's barrier record.
SHEEZA SPORT - hampered in the early stages by a breaking runner.
LINTON SHARD - raced wide around the first bend. Held up early stages of the home straight.
THE GO TO MAN - over-raced through the middle stages.
KING OF HEROES - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start with a warning being placed on the gelding's barrier record. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.

HUCKABEE - driver G O'Reilly was cautioned for being late to present his runner onto the track. Raced wide in the early stages.

MAXIMILIAN - held up on the final bend.
PRESIDENT PAT - hung inwards rounding the first bend. Paced roughly on the final bend before weakening.
CHALBERG - held up early stages of the home straight.
