Race 1   HUAWEI BESTSEAT360 MOBILE PACE
THE BLUE BEAT - inclined to lay in when rounding the turns. Paced roughly and then broke passing the 250 metres checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.
THE LONE RANGER - broke shortly after the start losing several lengths settling at the rear of the field. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners record.
KOLOVOS - hampered near the 250 metres. Driver A Drake was issued with a warning for the manner which he used his whip in the final straight on a runner which was out of contention.
DINA BROWN - inconvenienced by a galloping runner inside the 250 metres with Driver T Hanara briefly becoming unbalanced in the sulky.
MISTER SLICK - over-raced middle stages.
DESTINED FOR HEAVEN - checked by a galloping runner and broke losing its chance passing the 250 metres.
FLYING FINN - raced greenly and shifted outwards after reaching the front near the 2,100 metres.
Race 2   SOUTHERN BRED SOUTHERN REARED MOBILE PACE
ON A ROLL - held up rounding the final turn.
BE MY ROCK - weakened inside the final 300 metres after racing outside the leader throughout.
DR SUSAN - Driver B Orange was issued with a warning for the manner in which he shifted ground outwards near the 1,800 metres causing BE MY ROCK to be taken wider on the track.
TOMMY LINCOLN - raced three wide early. Paced roughly inside the 1,400 metres and then broke losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
Race 3   MICO DESIGN HANDICAP TROT
There was a false start declared after the 30 metre barrier strand failed to release. This resulted in a delay of 7 minutes.
SUNNY PETITE - broke passing the 2,400 metres losing its chance.
SUPERFAST NINJA - broke entering the first turn. Checked and broke near the 2,200 metres when shifting ground to avoid breaking runner. Tired from the 500 metres and inconvenienced PUMA ROAD.
ANDITOVER - raced wide from the 1,200 metres.
ACE COMMANDER - broke briefly at the start. Held up throughout the run home.
INVICTUS - raced wide from the 1,200 metres.
PUMA ROAD - broke passing the 2,300 metres. Held up by tiring runner on the final turn.
THE HULK - broke for a short distance soon after the start.
Race 4   BRIGHTSHINE BLINDS & SHUTTERS MOBILE PACE
YOUNG CONQUEROR - hampered near the 400 metres by a breaking runner having to shift ground outwards.
DOUBLE ROCKET - broke when leading approaching the 400 metres. The all clear was delayed until it was confirmed that the entire had not galloped further than 150 metres and had lost ground when doing so. A warning was placed on the entire's racing manners record.
REVOLVER - broke early in the score up recovering to take its place at the start. Raced wide from the 650 metres. When spoken to regarding the gelding's performance Trainer/Driver T Herlihy could only advise that he was disappointed with its run. Mr Herlihy advised he would have bloods taken from the horse in the coming days and if anything was shown to be amiss he would advise the Stewards. A post-race Veterinary examination showed no apparent abnormalities.
MR KIWI - broke for a short distance after the start having to be restrained by Driver J Dickie. Weakened over the final stages due to having sustained a damaged wheel on the final turn.
TIGER SWIFT - broke early in the score up recovering to take its place at the start.
Race 5   BRECKON FARMS INTER DOMINION TROTTING CHAMPS H1 (MOB TROT)
VALLORIA - the all clear was delayed until Stewards could review the films of the final turn where it was observed that the gelding had raced inside the marker line for some distance. After speaking with Driver J Dunn it was determined that this had occurred after receiving some pressure from MONTY PYTHON which was racing to its outside. Accordingly Stewards progressed the matter no further.
HABIBI INTA - trotted roughly near the 1,300 metres when contesting a position with MASSIVE METRO resulting in the entire having to be steadied for several strides. Stewards questioned Drivers B Orange and T Mitchell regarding this but after considering the evidence from B Orange the matter was taken no further. Raced wide from the 700 metres. When spoken to regarding the entire's performance Trainer P Nairn explained that his runner had been unsuited to having to work wide over the final stages on a very fast time.
KENNY'S DREAM - raced wide in the early stages.
PRES THE BELLE - lay inwards through the early stages. Driver T Williams advised that his sulky wheel was punctured during the race.
DIDJABRINGTHEBEERS - raced wide in the early stages.
MONTY PYTHON - lay inwards racing into the first turn and contacted several track markers. Again lay inwards on the final turn crowding the racing room of VALLORIA who was hampered. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
Race 6   IRT INTER DOMINION PACING CHAMPS H1 (MOB PACE)
ASHLEY LOCAZ - broke in the score up being several lengths out of position at the start with a warning placed on the gelding's mobile barrier start manners. Had difficulty obtaining a clear run in the home straight.
ULTIMATE SNIPER - raced three wide early. Raced wide from the 900 metres.
MACH SHARD - held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.
Race 7   WHAT THE HILL INTER DOMINION TROTTING CHAMPS H2 (MOB TROT)
MARCOOLA - when questioned as to whether she could have made more of an effort in the early stages to lead, Driver S Tomlinson advised the entire had warmed up very greenly and was not entirely fluent in its gait through the early stages so she was reluctant to pressure her runner. She added that MARCOOLA had encountered this difficulty in previous races at Alexandra Park.
WOODSTONE - broke approaching the first turn losing considerable ground and its chance. A final warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
TOUGH MONARCH - weakened inside the 500 metres. When spoken to regarding the gelding's performance Driver A Butt reported his runner to have travelled well throughout but proved disappointing when asked for an effort over the final stages. Trainer R Alchin advised that the horse had pulled up well but it was his intention to have blood tests taken in coming days and would advise Stewards if anything comes to light. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
RONALD J - broke under pressure passing the 50 metres.
WINTERFELL - trotted roughly in the early stages.
Race 8   DOWNBYTHESEASIDE INTER DOMINION PACING CHAMPS H2 (MOB PACE)
SICARIO - hung inwards on the first turn having to be corrected by Driver T Herlihy.
TRIPLE EIGHT - raced wide in the early stages.
BLING IT ON(AUS) - raced wide in the early stages. Weakened over the final stages. When questioned regarding the performance Driver L McCarthy advised that BLING IT ON(AUS) had struck the sulky wheel discs during the running which had caused him to over-race.
THEFIXER - held up rounding the final turn and the early stages of the run home.
CLASSIE BRIGADE - had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room over the final stages.
ANOTHER MASTERPIECE - broke approaching the 300 metres. Driver T Williams advised that the entire had over-reacted to an easing of the pace. Mr Williams added that the entire had a recent change of bit to which he felt the horse was unsuited and will be recommending changes.
Race 9   AUCKLAND CO-OP TAXIS 300 3000 MOBILE PACE
COURT ON THE EDGE - stepped out of its right front hopple in the early stages which had come adrift. Trainer S Telfer was issued with a $100 minor infringement notice for not securely fastening the hopples. Over-raced through the middle stages.
GLIDING AWAY - hung inwards over the early stages when being steadied.
