Race 9 - AIRPARK CANTERBURY DOMINION (STAND TROT)
Trainer P Williamson advised Stewards on 22 November that MAJESTIC MAN has recovered well from its disappointing run in the Dominion Handicap on Show Day. Mr Williamson further advised that in his opinion the gelding did not back up from the first day, especially given the pace of Friday's race, adding that it will continue with its Inter-Dominion campaign.
Race 10 - NEVELE R SIRES' STAKES SOUTHERN MARES CLASSIC MOBILE PACE
Co-Trainer G Hope advised Stewards on 18 November that KENDRA was found to be suffering from a lung infection subsequent to racing at Addington on Show Day. Mr Hope added that this is now being treated with the mare continuing with her current preparation.
Trainer S McRae advised Stewards on 22 November that NEMERA FRANCO was found to be suffering from a virus after racing at Addington on Show Day adding that the mare will be returning to trials before resumption.

EMMA LOUISE - trainer M Edmonds was issued with a warning for presenting the mare to race with half hopples which had not been notified.
GO ON ANDOVER - trotted roughly in the home straight.
MUSCULATURE METRO - B Orange was an authorised driver change due to G Smith being late to arrive on course. Driver G Smith admitted a breach of Rule 507(1) for breaking a driving engagement and was fined $200 by the JCA. Hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Shifted inwards abruptly late in the run home despite the efforts of its driver and had to be steadied.
MOONS WAY - broke at the start losing its chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ZIGZAGZOO - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
SUPERFAST LAD - when questioned regarding the performance, driver S Ottley reported she was very disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. Trainer M Heenan advised he would have the gelding examined by a veterinarian in the coming days and will notify Stewards of the results.
GOTTA TICKET - paced for a short distance at the start. Broke near the 2000 metres.
GOOSE HEALY - fractious prior to the start.

CHALBERG - broke briefly at the start. Trainer/driver B Weaver requested to review the start of the race to determine whether he had been denied a fair start when hampered by UNO MIA just prior to the barrier being released. Stewards lodged a request for a ruling with the JCA under Rule 213(1)(j) who determined that CHALBERG had been denied a fair start and was declared a non-runner.
UNO MIA - fractious prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
COMFORTABLY NUMB - broke at the start.
WEBS REACTOR - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again near the 150 metres. Driver S O'Reilly was spoken to advisedly to restrain her runner in a more timely manner when in a break.
ADIO ELLA - broke after 200 metres before pacing roughly for some distance and had to be steadied.
DUKE - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.
AMERICAN FLYER - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start and paced roughly after making contact with the sulky wheel of DUKE.
Race 4   LINTON DISTRIBUTORS PACE
BUDVAR EYRE - crowded after 200 metres and had to be steadied.
MISS IMPRESSION - late scratching on veterinary advice at 12.55pm. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
GLENLEDI BANDIT - broke shortly after the start. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts. Over-raced middle stages. Paced roughly in the home straight.
THE GUILD - hung inwards and paced roughly after 200 metres crowding inside runner.
KENYA - driver J Cox reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre during the running.
Race 5   TEMUKA TRANSPORT TROT
The start was delayed when the field was turned away to readdress the barrier after HEAVENLY LOVE required a gear adjustment.
PHOEBE ONYX - lay inwards in the run home.
REGAL ASPIRANT - broke in the early stages of the home straight.
CABELLA NOIR - held up for clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the home straight.
I'LDOITMYWAY - hung inwards final bend and struck several track markers. Driver T Quate was issued with a warning. Trotted roughly in the home straight.
FOREIGNER - when spoken to regarding the improved performance trainer/driver G Hunt advised the gelding had appreciated the grass track.
DEBORAHS GEM - trotted roughly in the home straight and was unable to be driven out.
BAXTER - trotted roughly in the home straight.
DR CLIFF - driver K Butt was warned for failing to come up into her barrier position prior to the start. Broke briefly on several occasions during the running. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
SIOUX PRINCESS - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Broke again near the 2000 metres losing its chance.
SUGAR CANE - began awkwardly.
Race 6   PGG WRIGHTSON STANDARDBRED JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
THE GENERAL - when spoken to regarding the performance, driver M Hurrell reported the gelding had worked hard in the early stages to maintain the lead with the effort taking its toll over the concluding stages.
GLEN ELGIN TOMSON - raced wide early and middle stages. Had to be steadied racing into the first bend when crowded by an outside runner. Driver T Duley (assisted by G O'Reilly) was spoken to advisedly regarding the manner she drove passing the 1000 metres and advised to be more decisive when improving her position.
BLACK ART - raced wide early stages. Driver A Fitzgerald (assisted by J Cox) was warned for the manner in which he eased the pace near the 1100 metres which hampered trailing runners.
MR MIDNIGHT - raced wide early stages. Driver K Tomlinson (assisted by M Williamson) was warned for the manner she drove racing into the first bend when crowding an inside runner.
TRACKSAREFORTRAINS - driver C Jones was warned for crowding inside runner racing into the first bend.
JAZELLE - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
FRANCO NIVEN - over-raced passing the 1100 metres after an easing of the pace and shifted outwards to a three wide position inside KARDESLER. Stewards investigated a perceived breach of the Push Out Rule near the 1100 metres however it was established that KARDESLER had hung outwards and had not been forced wider on the track by FRANCO NIVEN. Driver B Hope (assisted by R May) was shown the replay and warned for the manner he drove rounding the final bend when improving his position between KARDESLER and GLEN ELGIN TOMSON when insufficient room existed. Shifted outwards in the home straight when being driven out. Authorisation of 1st placing being awarded to FRANCO NIVEN was withheld until Stewards had spoken with driver S Thornley (PLAYA VISTA) placed 2nd, who advised his chances had not been affected. Mr Hope was warned to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home. Mr Hope admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After penalty submissions, the JCA suspended his Horseman's Licence from the conclusion of racing on 24 November up to and including 1 December 2019 (4 days).
RAH DE RAH - over-raced early stages. Hampered near the 1100 metres after an easing of the pace. Driver D Keast will be spoken to regarding the manner he used his whip in the home straight.
PLAYA VISTA - hampered near the 1100 metres after an easing of the pace.
MAD LU LI - over-raced final bend when held up for clear racing room.

KARDESLER - raced wide throughout. Hung outwards passing the 1100 metres and again rounding the final bend. Driver A Cameron (assisted by M Williamson) was spoken to advisedly to make a greater effort to prevent her runner from shifting wider on the track.
Race 7   ECOLAB HANDICAP PACE
A false start was declared due to the front barrier strand failing to release.
BIRD OF PARADISE - slow to begin. Broke after 200 metres losing all chance.
ROLLOVA - fractious prior to the start. Began awkwardly.
HOMEBUSH LAD - paced roughly in the home straight.
SHADOW MINISTER - held up final bend.
POCKET CALL - driver L Dobbs was warned for using his whip when out of contention.
MATT DAMON - driver M Anderson was warned for attempting to start wider on the track than his allocated position which caused a delay. Lay inwards in the home straight.
Race 8   FRESH CHOICE GERALDINE CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
HEISENBERG - hung outwards in the home straight and shifted up the track. Driver G Smith was warned to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
MY WEE MAN - paced roughly passing the 2500 metres.
SMOKIN BY - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations.
NANDOLO - lay inwards in the home straight. Driver J Cox admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After penalty submissions, the JCA suspended his Horseman's Licence from the conclusion of racing on 29 November up to and including 7 December 2019 (4 days).

TAKE AFTER ME - driver R Houghton admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After penalty submissions, the JCA suspended his Horseman's Licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 6 December 2019 (3 days).
