Race 1   HARRIS HOPKINSON FAMILY HANDICAP TROT
HURRY UP - slow to begin and broke shortly after the start losing its chance.
LEESA CASTLETON - held up rounding the final turn.
THE REV - broke shortly after the start and trailed the field throughout.
FIRA - slow to begin and inconvenienced rounding the first turn. Held up over the latter stages of the run home.
MEKONG PRINCESS - held up rounding the final turn and when clear trotted unevenly throughout the run home.
Race 2   CAFE JACKO MOBILE PACE
OUR WICKLOW - broke early in the score up losing considerable ground then recovered to be a length out of position at the start. Caught three wide middle stages when attempting to improve and weakened out inside the final 500 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners.
MR BILLIARDS - inconvenienced by a tiring runner inside the final 400 metres.
BENJAMIN BUTTON - worked to the lead early then trailed before weakening early inside the final 400 metres inconveniencing trailing runners. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. A warning was placed on the gelding's race performance record.
ARTY PHARTY - hung in the score up and was two lengths out of position at the start. Inclined to lay in rounding the bends. Raced wide inside the final 700 metres.
ARTFILLY CRAFTED - improved three wide approaching the 700 metres then raced four and five wide down the back straight the last time.
Race 3   HUGHES JOINERY MOBILE PACE
MILLIETHEPIPER - broke early in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners. The mare broke again rounding the first turn and was retired from the event. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
JETSON HUNTER - attempted to lead throughout but weakened out over the run home finishing 5th. Driver B Mangos explained that the gelding had received every opportunity and he will longer be persevering with it from his stable.
HEY GOOD LOOKIN - broke rounding the first bend inconveniencing trailing runners. The mare was pulled up. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
HE'S GRATIS - inconvenienced by a breaking runner rounding the first turn. Held up rounding the final turn. Driver B Taylor was warned to maintain his barrier position at the start. The entire was a length out of position at the start.
SPECIALE UNO - inconvenienced by a breaking runner rounding the first turn.
CARSE O FERN CULLY - raced without cover outside the leader, under pressure inside the final 600 metres and weakened over the latter stages. Junior Driver D Ferguson could offer no explanation for the gelding's poor performance.
Race 4   PAUL CLARIDGE ELECTRICAL MOBILE PACE
SHAN ONE - Trainer S Doody was warned in regard to presenting the gelding without the notified blinds. Held up rounding final turn and throughout the run home.
SONNY REACTOR - paced erratically in the score up then broke at the start, settling at the rear of the field. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners.
NICKY JAY - over-raced middle stages.
ALL MONEY - over-raced middle stages.
Race 5   WAIMANAWA AGISTMENT MOBILE PACE
HARVEY SPECTER - held up rounding the final turn and the latter stages of the run home.
RECKON IM SMART - failed to get clear racing room rounding the final turn and throughout the home straight. Driver D Butcher reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners.
Race 6   WHITEHORSE INN MOBILE PACE
AMARO - paced roughly rounding the final turn.
MAGIC BLAZE - weakened from inside the 400 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
SIMPLY DREAMING - the gelding was removed from the unruly list for mobile starts.
Race 7   PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION MOBILE PACE
THE LONE RANGER - lacked gate speed and was inconvenienced by another runner pacing roughly entering the first turn. Settled toward the rear, improved three wide near the 950 metres and ran on to finish 3rd beaten 0.7 of a length.
MILNER - broke at the start and settled towards the rear. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners record.
RED TERROR - Trainer S Dickson was questioned regarding the gelding's form reversal from its poor performance the first day of this meeting. As previously reported to the Stipendiary Stewards this gelding is well known to mix its form and that possibly even the change of driver could make a difference. Mr Dickson expressed that he was surprised by the improved performance however it is a natural leader that needs the race to go its own way as was the case tonight.
SHEIKH YABOOTY - paced roughly shortly after the start inconveniencing a runner to its inside.
Race 8   DANIEL & SIAN FAREWELL MOBILE PACE
ONEDIN PUNTER - raced three wide without cover from inside the 1200 metres before weakening over the final 300 metres.
VOODOO PRINCE - raced three wide with cover from inside the 1200 metres, five wide entering the straight for the run home and ran on to finish 7th beaten 2.3 lengths.
THE BANDIT QUEEN - held up late in the run home.
Race 9   AUSTRALIASIAN JUNIOR DRIVERS CHAMPS 10 & 12 DEC MOB PACE
The advertised start time of 8.21 pm was delayed by four minutes at the request of race day control.
