Race 8 - D THOMPSON CONTRACTING/CRAWFORD FAMILY MOBILE PACE
Driver E Swain (DELIGHT N GOLD) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than is permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations, with the JCA imposing a fine of $200.

Trainer K Larsen advised Stewards on 15 November that DUKE OF DUNDEE has been treated for dehydration following its race on 7 November.

Race 1   WYNDHAM WORKOUTS COMMITTEE TROT
ANDY HALL - slow to begin.
PETRONELLI GEE - broke passing the 600 metres.
ROBO TROUBLE - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Placed on the Unruly for future standing start events at the request of trainer S Balloch.
WHANGAMATA - lay inwards on various occasions during the running.
IT'S SUMMERTIME - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. Broke again passing the 800 metres.
IRON EAGLE - slow through the early stages. Broke passing the 400 metres.
SUSIES WAY - over-raced through the middle stages.
Race 2   ILT CENTREPOINT/SOUTHCITY LIQUORLAND F & M MOBILE PACE
WOMAN IN CHARGE - lost the off fore racing plate during the running.
PHOEBE'S DELIGHT - held up throughout the home straight.
HANS IDEAL - raced wide entering the first bend. Over-raced when being restrained rounding the first bend.
HELD TO RANSOM - raced wide entering the first bend. Driver J Cox reported he did not activate the removable deafeners applied to the mare due to having the field covered.
INDULGENCE - held up through the middle stages of the home straight.
LUCYS DELIGHT - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver B McLellan.
Race 3   MLT / PIONEER TAVERN MOBILE PACE
BETTORS ATOM - held up leaving the final bend and in the early and middle stages of home straight.
THEODORA HOPE - broke in the score-up checking NIGHTMARCH on the second line, necessitating a false start be declared. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver N Williamson elected go to the Unruly position for the restart.
ALLANDALE - over-raced through the middle stages.
KOROMIKO EYRE - raced wide rounding the first bend.
TETRICK - raced wide rounding the first bend.
GEOFF'S LEGACY - weakened from the 500 metres.
NIGHTMARCH - held up leaving the final bend.
SWIFT ROBYN - when questioned regarding the improved performance driver C Ferguson advised the mare has raced without luck in recent starts and had benefited from a drop in class today.
ROSINUPTHEBOW - became awkwardly placed passing the 1600 metres due to an easing of the pace.
Race 4   SSBA SOUTHERN BELLE SPEED SERIES MARES MOBILE PACE
BRIDESDALE ROBYN - Driver C Ferguson reported he did not activate the sliding blinds as in his opinion the mare had a tendency to switch off when these had been activated in previous races. Mr Ferguson added he would be recommending the sliding blinds be removed for future starts.
Race 5   TITIROA TRANSPORT LTD HANDICAP TROT
MISS BAMBOOCHA - broke at the start losing all chance.
EMMA FROST - broke shortly after the start losing all chance
LISA MARIE P - broke at the start losing all chance and eventually being retired from the race.
DAVEY MAC - broke briefly at the start when taking evasive action to avoid a breaking runner. Over-raced through the middle stages. Broke again passing the 750 metres.
SEKKIE MONKEY - the scalping boots were removed prior to the start.
THAT'S THE STORY - broke over the concluding stages.
Race 6   KUBALA SEEDS MOBILE PACE
DISMARA - held up entering the home straight.
PADUKA - raced wide rounding the first bend. Held up rounding the final bend.
BETTORS HIGHLIGHT - raced wide rounding the first bend.
BOTTLE ROCK - held up in the early stages of the home straight.
THRO ME THE BUOY - paced roughly passing the 1300 metres.
JIMMY RICHTER - over-raced through the middle stages. Held up rounding the final bend and throughout the home straight.
AMERICAN MAC - held up in the middle stages of the home straight.
Race 7   LEITHFIELD NURSERY FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
MILA KUNIS - lay inwards rounding the first bend contacting several track markers.
SHEZA BABE - lay inwards entering the first bend contacting several track markers.
MAGNETIC CHIME - lay inwards entering the final bend. Driver A Beck momentarily dropped his foot from the sulky footrest entering the home straight, when activating gear.
JUST CHEDDAR - raced wide rounding the first bend.
WATCH ME NOW - paced roughly passing the 100 metres. Driver K Barclay reported the filly had paced roughly over the concluding stages resulting in her having to take a hold.
RAKARIPPA - held up leaving the final bend.
RAKANELLIE - lay inwards on the bends contacting track markers on each occasion. Held up in the early stages of the home straight.
Race 8   HUNTER FAMILY HANDICAP PACE
SWAMP MAJOR - driver K Barclay defended a charge pursuant to Rule 869(2) in that she used her whip on more occasions than is permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. At the request of Mrs Barclay the JCA adjourned the hearing until Friday the 22nd November to allow time for her to prepare more thoroughly and seek further advice.
WHATA RAZZLE DAZZLE - broke at the start losing all chance.
MIGHTY FLYING ART - broke at the start. Weakened from the 400 metres.
TRIROYALE BRIGADE - hampered by a weakening runner passing the 600 metres. Shifted inwards over the concluding stages when under pressure.
BENIO BEN - weakened from the 600 metres.
YORKSHIRE - broke at the start. A final warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again passing the 1450 metres losing ground.
BRINGITONHOME - placed in tight quarters over the concluding stages.
SAGWITCH - bounded away.
ROBYNS PLAYBOY - briefly hampered by a breaking runner passing the 1400 metres.
Race 9   MLT / THREE RIVERS HOTEL MOBILE PACE
PADDY FINN - broke shortly after the start was effected. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Trainer/driver C Ferguson advised PADDY FINN would now be sent for a spell.
FIREBALL - held up rounding the final bend.
DELIGHT N GOLD - raced wide rounding the first bend.
MR JINGLES - weakened from the 600 metres. When spoken to regarding the performance driver B McLellan reported the gelding was unsuited by the fast tempo of the race.
CASSIUS BROMAC - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Held up rounding the final bend and throughout the home straight with driver B Barclay reporting that due to this he did not activate the removable deafeners applied to the gelding. Stewards spoke with Mr B Barclay regarding the tactics he adopted on the favoured runner passing the 500 metres when electing to drop down to four back on the pylons from a one wide position. Mr Barclay explained that had he stayed one wide he felt he would have been held up behind the weakening parked horse so he elected to shift down to the pylons and drive for luck. After viewing the films Stewards accepted Mr Barclay's explanation.
LECONTE - junior driver S Tomlinson reported she did not activate the removable deafeners applied to the gelding due to the cord breaking. When inspected the gear was found to be in previously good condition.
YANKEE SHARD - paced roughly and blundered briefly passing the 100 metres. Held up for racing room over the concluding stages.
Race 10   MARSHALLS GARAGE 2005 LTD MOBILE PACE
HAMPTON - held up in the early stages of the home straight.
TARTAN TRILOGY - briefly hampered by a weakening runner passing the 400 metres.
ARDENT LUSTRE - weakened from the 400 metres.
MY GEORGIE BOY - raced wide entering the first bend.
CLASSIE REACTOR - over-raced when being restrained to take cover in the early stages.
THE GOLDEN BOY - weakened from the 1000 metres and was retired from the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance including a clear ECG prior to THE GOLDEN BOY racing next.
