Race 1   25 YEARS WITH AP IS A VALIANT EFFORT VAL HART HCAP TROT
Starter F Phelan reviewed the video coverage of the start with the Stewards and was reprimanded for allowing the field to begin with a runner in an incorrect position.
RECYCLE - shifted sideways at the start.
LADY BE GOOD - broke losing considerable ground and its chance at the start. The authorisation of the dividends was with-held at the request of Driver K Marshall until such time that Stewards were satisfied that the mare had not been denied a fair start.
MOUNT ASPIRING - broke free of interference passing the 650 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
TE KOUKA DAWN - broke at the start losing ground. Broke passing the 950 metres losing ground. A warning was placed on the mare's standing start manners.
REIGN - slow away. Horseman M McKendry admitted a breach of Rule 862(2) in that he permitted REIGN to start from an incorrect barrier position. The gelding started from the outside of the front line instead of barrier position one on the second line. The JCA imposed a fine of $300.
CHINSKI - mixed its gait at the start and was slow away.
GRENADO - broke briefly passing the 1,600 metres.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS - over raced middle stages.
BRYDON EARL - over raced middle stages when outside the leader and then paced roughly near the 600 metres.
COWGIRLS N ANGELS - three wide early.
OCEAN BEACH - held up rounding the final turn and the early stages of the run home.
Race 3   VOLSTEAD AT HARAS des TROTTEURS HCAP TROT
MAGNAFIQUE - held up rounding the final turn.
SAFRAKOVA - Driver L Chin supplied a medical certificate of fitness prior to being checked out for his drive.
SIR HENRY CASTLETON - slow away. Raced three wide from inside the 1,400 metres.
STILL EYRE - Driver B Butcher was questioned in regard to his position at the start and his explanation accepted.
SAINT MICHEL - over raced middle stages.
NATTY PAGGER - raced three wide from inside the 1,200 metres and four wide rounding the final turn.
OUR SPITFIRE - raced three wide from inside the 1,200 metres and four wide rounding the final turn.
TOBRUK - broke losing its chance passing the 150 metres.
Race 4   DUNSTAN SPEEDFEED MOBILE PACE
MIGHTY LOOEE - raced without cover until inside the 1,500 metres then three back one out passing the 1,400 metres. Improved three wide from inside the 600 metres and forced to race four wide rounding the final turn finishing 3rd beaten 0.9 of a length.
MISTER SLICK - over raced when being restrained to a trail rounding the first turn.
SIMON - held up rounding the final turn.
BAD TO THE BONE - raced at the rear, improved inside the 800 metres three wide then pushed four and five wide rounding the final turn. Ran on to finish 8th beaten 5.3 lengths.
Race 5   CROMBIE LOCKWOOD MOBILE PACE
NUN BETTOR - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
MILLIETHEPIPER - paced roughly for several strides when attempting to improve in tight quarters passing the 300 metres.
MAJOR RAGE - held up rounding final turn.
BETTOR GET IT ON - broke shortly after the start, while in a gallop locked sulky wheels with LINDI LINCOLN dislodging Driver B Butcher from the sulky. A warning was placed on the filly's mobile barrier manners.
LINDI LINCOLN - attempted to evade a galloping runner after the start and then locked sulky wheels being badly checked and as a result was pulled up.
DRAGON TATTOO - held up early stages of the run home.
Race 6   GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PUKEKOHE MOBILE PACE
CALLIE'S DELIGHT - held up by a tiring runner approaching the 250 metres.
NANELLE FRANCO - over raced middle stages after having surrendered the lead.
WAINUI CREEK - restrained to the rear early. Commenced to improve three wide approaching the 600 metres but was forced four wide on the final turn before finishing in 3rd place beaten 2.1 lengths.
COURT ON THE EDGE - Driver B Butcher was cleared by ambulance staff to drive after being dislodged from a sulky in the previous race.
SHILLELAGH - held up early final turn and then again approaching the 100 metres when disappointed for a run in the passing lane.
GO KIWI - had some difficulty obtaining clear running throughout the home straight.
Race 7   KERRY HOGGARD MEMORIAL- 'THE HOLMES DG' (HCAP PACE)
YOUNG CONQUEROR - over raced middle stages when at the rear.
THE DEVILS OWN - broke for a stride at the start.
MILLWOOD MAIZIE - weakened out inside the final 700 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
MACH SHARD - broke for a few strides and was slow away.
CHECK IN - over raced outside the leader middle stages.
Race 8   IRT ID19 CHAMPS 29 NOV TO 14 DEC HANDICAP TROT
EYRE I GO - broke near the 2,250 metres losing ground before settling in mid field.
PUMA ROAD - Trainer S Reid was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the gelding without the notified deafeners.
HAVEHORSEWILLTRAVEL - paced off the mark and had to be broken up to return to a trot.
AS FREE AS AIR - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
MR GOOD AND EVIL - slow to begin.
C K SPUR - broke at the start losing ground.
LEMOND - broke entering the first turn losing ground before breaking again near the 2,200 metres. Broke again at the 1,900 metres resulting in it being pulled up. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the right hind. A veterinary certificate of fitness is required prior to resuming.
Race 9   STEINLAGER TOKYO DRY MOBILE PACE
CHRISTIANSHAVTIME - over raced middle stages.
ALPINE DELIGHT - broke at the start losing considerable ground and its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners record.
POTT LUCK - over raced early and middle stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have minor abrasions to its hind bumpers.
Race 10   AUCKLAND CO-OP TAXIS 300 3000 MOBILE PACE
BANNER OF ART - lay out rounding the final turn and throughout the run home locking sulky wheels with M T POCKETS which was impeded and in turn resulted in a check to IDEAL AGENT.
THE BLUE BEAT - raced three wide from inside the 900 metres. Raced five wide rounding the final turn and lay in passing the 250 metres before getting balanced and running on to finish second.
M T POCKETS - impeded passing the 200 metres after locking sulky wheels with BANNER OF ART and paced roughly when the wheels became disengaged resulting in it shifting outward and checking IDEAL AGENT.
PEMBROOK CHARLIE - held up rounding the final turn and the early stages of the run home.
ACCELERE - checked when racing at the rear when there was an easing of the pace near the 1,400 metres. Raced three wide from the 1,200 metres.
IDEAL AGENT - checked passing the 1,400 metres when there was an easing of the pace. Checked approaching the 50 metres by a runner pacing roughly.
DESTINED FOR HEAVEN - Trainer T Vince advised that the mare was racing in season.
HIGHVIEW JUSTICE - raced three wide from the 1,100 metres.
