Trainer T Barron advised Stewards on 3 October that GLOBAL DOMINATION has been treated for a virus since racing at Addington last week.
Race 10 - THE CROSSING FASHION STARTS HERE COMPETITION OPEN NOW PACE
Driver J Versteeg (BOUND TO IMPRESS) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations and the JCA imposed a fine of $200.

Trainer G Payne advised Stewards on 3 October that MY MAN ROOSTER has shown no ill-effects since falling at Motukarara on Sunday and will continue with its current preparation.

Race 8 - WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
M Anderson (GHOSTWRITER) was questioned regarding his failure to improve his position throughout the run home between runners. Mr Anderson explained that he felt GEMMA MAC was laying outwards at the time and likely to crowd his runner had he attempted that run and so opted to drive more conservatively and look for a run elsewhere. Stewards advised Mr Anderson that in similar circumstances it was expected he drive in a more competitive manner and leave no room for query. Mr Anderson was also questioned and subsequently reprimanded for failing to attend a Stewards inquiry into this matter.
Race 10 - AVON CITY FORD - RAPTOR MOBILE PACE
Driver J Keast (ASCALABUS) was shown the films and spoken to advisedly for the manner in which drove near the 300 metres which caused an inside runner to race in restricted room.

Race 1   HORSE SOLUTIONS & SUPREME EQUINE FEEDS AMATEUR MOB PACE
XMAS BAY - badly checked near the 400 metres losing considerable ground.
BETTOR ROCK AGAIN - commenced to weaken approaching the 400 metres before being checked and losing its chance.
JETENARA - raced wide in the early stages. Badly checked near the 400 metres losing considerable ground.
HIGHLAND REIGN - late scratching at 11.30am on Veterinary advice after sustaining an injury en route to the course. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
RAINY RIVER - tended to lay outwards entering the final bend and locked wheels with the improving MACHS MARETA (B Wilmott) losing all chance and checking trailing runners. An investigation was held into this incident however after questioning drivers N Munro and B Wilmott, blame could not be attributed solely to either horse or driver and no further action was taken other than to note the circumstances.
LEADING THE WAY - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver D Stapleton.
MACHS MARETA - locked wheels near the 500 metres with RAINY RIVER which was laying outwards losing its chance and checking trailing runners.
GO GETTA - checked and broke near the 400 metres losing its chance.
Race 2   MORRISONS SADDLERY & FEED TROT
MEGA PIXELS - broke racing into the first bend hampering trailing runners.
B D YASOTHON - driver M Anderson reported he had not released the gelding's deafeners due to having the field covered.
RAINING IN MY HEART - stood on the mark as the start was made.
SUMMA SONGBIRD - fractious behind the barriers. Broke on the first bend and trailed the field before being retired from the event.
RACHEL DAYTOM - held up over the final stages.
ORLANDO MAGIC -broke briefly at the start and was slow early. Hampered by a breaking runner and had to be steadied on the first bend. Held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
TUSCAN SUN - hampered by a breaking runner on the first bend. Struck track markers on the final turn when weakening.
STEEL DUST - broke at the start losing ground. Broke briefly near the 700 metres losing ground.
AVEROSS MAJESTY - hampered by a breaking runner on the first bend.
DD'S SUPER STUART - slow in the early stages and got back as a result.
Race 3   MORE FM PACE
ALL MONEY - broke at the start settling at the rear.
BOILOVER - broke at the start settling at the rear. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
VINTAGE BEACH - placed in restricted room racing into the first bend and had to be steadied. Briefly locked wheels with DARRYL KERRIGAN approaching the 1100 metres. When spoken to regarding the gelding's performance, co-trainer P Robertson advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.
HIDDEN DELIGHT - driver J Cox reported he did not release the mare's deafeners due to having the field covered.
I CAN REMEMBER - driver K Cameron was cautioned for the manner in which he shifted ground entering the first turn.
DARRYL KERRIGAN - briefly locked wheels with VINTAGE BEACH approaching the 1100 metres.
Race 4   EQUINE VETERINARY SERVICES TROT
TONIQUE DE FEU - trotted roughly throughout the run home and was not able to be fully pressured by driver R May.
MUSCLE PAT - broke near the 500 metres.
MIKEMARO - broke at the start and lost considerable ground.
ROGIE FALLS - began awkwardly. Trotted roughly passing the 200 metres having to be steadied.
MOONS WAY - crowded in the early stages and then broke soon after losing its chance.
MAJESTIC SUNSET - broke entering the first turn when improving to the lead but soon settled.
TERRIER - broke near the 1250 metres after becoming awkwardly positioned close to the sulky of MUSCLE PAT losing ground before settling into a pace and having to be broken up to return to a trot.
ARDEE TROUBLE -broke at the start.
Race 5   LASER ELECTICAL - TIMARU MOBILE PACE
SHE'S A DAGG - raced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier record. Weakened approaching the 600 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery with blood tests recommended. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.
SMELLSLIKESTILTON - lay outwards and raced roughly in the score up before breaking losing its chance. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record.
TOUCHE - raced roughly after the start and broke briefly, settling at the rear as a result. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record. Dislodged a track marker near the 1500 metres when at the rear.
Race 6   LION BEVERAGES PACE
DAMETORO - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
RORY BROWN - broke at the start. Raced roughly around the first turn.
EL CHAPO - reared as the barrier was released and swung outwards before breaking and losing considerable ground.
MOCHA - broke near the 300 metres. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
WAIHEMO HANNAH - checked in the early stages by a breaking runner and broke briefly.
CLOUD NINE - slow to begin.
Race 7   EMPIRE HOTEL TEMUKA SOCIAL CLUB MOBILE PACE
SHOT IN THE DARK - lay in rounding the final turn and raced over several track markers. Trainer/driver A Faulks advised he would be making gear changes to rectify this.
CHEVRON FLIES - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. When questioned regarding the performance, driver M Anderson advised he was disappointed with the filly's effort and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination showed signs of muscle tie up. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
AMORE LANCOME - shifted out under pressure over the final stages. Driver S Smith (assisted by T Williams) was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly regarding maintaining a straight course in the run home.
NAHOLO - out of position at the start. Driver K Newman was issued with a warning.
DONEGAL CARRICKFIN - out of position at the start. Driver K Tomlinson was issued with a warning.
DOCTOR TIM - briefly locked wheels with POCKET WATCH passing the 200 metres. Driver S O'Reilly reported she sustained a flat tyre during the running.
STETSON - tired badly on the final turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery with blood tests recommended. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.
POCKET WATCH - briefly locked wheels with DOCTOR TIM passing the 200 metres.
MELTON REACTOR - lay in badly near the 500 metres proving difficult for driver B Laughton. Continued to lay in throughout the run home. Mr Laughton advised he had been having steering difficulties and had not released the gelding's deafeners. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
Race 8   NIGHT 'N DAY PARK STORE HANDICAP TROT
SHE'S ALLTHE CRAZE - had to take evasive action approaching the 1000 metres to avoid NEVERNEVERLAND which came back quickly.
NEVERNEVERLAND - slow to begin. Dropped the bit and went to pull up approaching the 1000 metres causing a significant dis-organisation to trailing runners. When spoken to driver J Morrison confirmed the gelding had pulled up for no apparent reason. Stood down pending a satisfactory trial. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
BEYOND THE HORIZON - checked and lost ground near the 1000 metres.
MISSIE CASTLETON - broke when having to take evasive action near the 1000 metres losing its chance. Driver R May confirmed the mare had broken when he had taken evasive action to give SHE'S ALLTHE CRAZE room on his inside for safety reasons.
RED HARBOUR - checked and lost ground near the 1000 metres.
Race 9   BROSNAN TRANSPORT PASSING LANE MOBILE PACE
LOYALIST - trainer B Kerr was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to securely fasten the near side rein leaving driver T Williams unable to control the gelding for a short distance in the preliminary. Weakened near the 400 metres.
SILENT MAJOR - held up on the final bend by a weakening runner.
ROCKNTOMMY RULZ - over-raced approaching the 1000 metres.
LAVER - raced wide in the early stages.
BOSSMARO - had to be restrained off the back of OFF THE EDGE near the 1300 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one out line.
EL DORADO - raced wide throughout.
ALTA ENDEAVOUR - raced wide in the early and middle stages.
RINGO'S A STAR - raced wide throughout.
THE LAST STRAW - out of position at the start. A warning was placed in the gelding's barrier record. Gave ground from the 1000 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had fibrillated. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG.
Race 10   NEXT MEETING SUNDAY 24 NOVEMBER MOBILE PACE
CULLENMORE - broke near the 250 metres after the contacting the near side sulky wheel of FLYINGMASTERWILLIAMS and failed to settle. Driver C Thornley admitted an associated charge of careless driving and was fined $200 by the JCA.
JAMIES BAD BOY - broke approaching the 100 metres before settling just prior to the finishing line. Disqualified from 5th placing by the JCA for breaking in excess of 50 metres inside the final 200 metres. The gelding must now complete a satisfactory trial prior to resuming.
ROYAL JESTER - driver G Smith was questioned regarding the manner in which he drove near the 500 metres when he elected not to take the opportunity to follow MAGIC BLAZE forward when that gelding improved three wide. Mr Smith explained that he had been reluctant to follow MAGIC BLAZE at that stage as he felt that he would have been forced wide on the track when other runners improved to his inside which would have been to his detriment. Mr Smith's comments were noted.
SIMPLY DREAMING - improved forward passing the 1600 metres but then had to be driven along to cross to lead near the 1100 metres and was under pressure on the final turn before weakening out to finish at the rear. When questioned regarding the performance, trainer M Purvis advised he was disappointed with the effort and it was his intention to have the horse driven with a trail and saved for one run for its immediate future racing.
