General
Stewards were advised on Saturday morning that the Methven Club was concerned about the state of the track after recent heavy rain had made the bend out of the front straight waterlogged and unfit for racing. After consultations with HRNZ and Stewards the Methven Club made the decision to transfer the meeting to Ashburton Raceway.
