Race 1   THAI NIGHT AT AP FRI SEPT 27 MOBILE PACE
ARYA FAMOUS - tended to over race middle stages when trailing the leader. Weakened in the run home.
NICE VINTAGE - approaching the 1,200 metres Driver N. Chilcott briefly contested the filly's position with TOREA LANE when racing one out in an attempt to remain in the trail in behind ROYAL. It then became unbalanced and broke for several strides losing ground. After questioning Drivers N. Chilcott and T. Cameron the Stewards decided that the drivers concerned were on equal terms and that no driver was found to be at fault.
TOREA LANE - approaching the 1,200 metres when in a three wide position Driver T. Cameron briefly attempted to shift inward contesting a position with NICE VINTAGE which was trailing ROYAL and broke for several strides losing ground. After questioning Drivers N. Chilcott and T. Cameron the Stewards decided that the drivers concerned were on equal terms and that no driver was found to be at fault.
DOWN THE HATCH - inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 1,200 metres.
HEATHER RAE - raced keenly down the back straight the final time and was held up briefly on the final turn.
BEAUTIFUL STRANGER - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners.
Race 2   MAGNESS BENROW/PANASONIC MOBILE PACE
SPARE CHANGE - lay in rounding the final turn. Unable to secure clear running throughout the home straight.
THE EMPRESS - held up early final turn.
Race 3   ALABAR MOBILE TROT
LUCK OF THE MOMENT - raced three wide early.
CYCLONE S ADAMS - broke approaching the 150 metres losing it's chance.
RESONATE - raced three wide early before improving forward to race outside the leader inside the 800 metres. Broke under pressure passing the 50 metres and continued on in a break losing ground. Authorisation of second placing was withheld until it was confirmed that the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
Race 4   LAURA FERGUSSON TRUST MOBILE PACE
CHRISTIANSHAVTIME - lay in rounding the final turn and early stages of the run home.
PRINCE OF PLEASURE - raced three wide early.
Race 5   MAGNESS BENROW/FISHER & PAYKEL MOBILE PACE
KATAMACH - over raced in the early stages when Driver L. Hollis eased to take the trail.
THE BLUE BEAT - Driver J. Abernethy advised that he could not drive the mare out to full advantage due to the mare laying out when placed under pressure.
ACCELERE - over raced early and middle stages.
BOLD RULER - lay in when attempting to shift ground to gain clear running rounding the final turn entering the straight.
BANNER OF ART - raced fiercely in the score-up and early stages. Held up final turn and throughout the run home. Driver T. Cameron advised that he was unable to activate the removable deafeners.
Race 6   IRT ID19 HERE FROM NOV 29 TO DEC 14 HANDICAP TROT
THE LAST GAMBLE - slow to begin.
MAJESTIC ONE - broke entering the first turn and settled at the rear.
THE HULK - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
LOVELY BUNDY - broke for a few strides at the start.
EYRE I GO - Trainer J Young was charged a $25 colour fee.
Race 7   ENDLESS METALS MOBILE PACE
DANCE TIME - lay in rounding the bends.
Race 8   ULTIMATE MACHETE AT ALABAR TENDER CLOSES SEPT 20 MOBILE PACE
MHAI UPTOWN GIRL - Trainers White/Berger were cautioned in regard to the mare's sliding blinds malfunctioning.
FINAL DELIGHT - lay in and paced roughly near the 950 metres when outside the leader. Lay in again rounding the final turn.
Race 9   IRT ID19 NOMS CLOSE MON SEPT 30 11AM NZDST MOBILE PACE
PETER FORSBERG - held up early final turn by a weakening runner.
DIAMONDSRBETTOR - paced roughly when eased passing the 1,400 metres then worked forward to obtain the lead. Weakened final turn. Junior Driver A. Harrison reported that the mare had been striking a wheel disc causing it to over race through the early and middle stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
WARLOCH - paced roughly rounding the first bend.
