Trainer M House advised Stewards on 20 August that DELIGHT OF TEXAS appears to have recovered well following its performance at Gore on 10 August and will continue with its current preparation.

Co-Trainer G Hope advised Stewards on 22 August that EASY PICKINGS has recovered well following its run at Addington last week with blood tests showing no abnormalities. Mr Hope added that the gelding will be driven in a more conservative manner in its future engagements.

Race 1   THANKS FOR 10 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE MARK MCNAMARA MOBILE PACE
ZULU COURAGE - out of position at the start due to the gelding becoming awkwardly positioned inside the barrier arm when the gate briefly shifted outwards.
KRUIZR - forced to race wider on the track near the 1050 metres for approximately 200 metres.
ALEXY - no claims were lodged. Raced keenly when wide in the early stages. Broke near the 600 metres when trailing the weakening PAUL'S VERDICT. Driver M Maynard reported his gelding to have lay outwards and proved difficult. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
AVEROSS FERRARI - driver C Wigg admitted a breach of the Push Out Rule in that near the 1050 metres she shifted outwards causing the improving KRUIZR to race wider. After penalty submissions the JCA imposed a fine of $200.
PAUL'S VERDICT - raced wide early stages. Weakened from the 700 metres.
RUSSIAN EXPRESS - shifted outwards prior to the start to follow another runner prior to dispatch and consequently started from the incorrect barrier position. Driver A Edge admitted a breach of Rule 862(2) and after penalty submissions the JCA imposed a fine of $200.
Race 2   HIGHVIEW TOMMY - OUTSTANDING VALUE AT $1,500 PACE
LUCY'S BADBOY - had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
PRODIGAL GUINNESS - over-raced throughout with driver J Dunn reporting he had not activated the gelding's shorteners.
GOOD DAY SUNSHINE - hampered near the 350 metres.
IT'S ME - held up final bend.
LENNOX BROMAC - began awkwardly. Broke near the 350 metres losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
REFLECTIONSOFMYLIFE - raced wide in the early stages until working forward to lead near the 1800 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
MIGHTY REACTOR - displayed poor barrier manners delaying the start. Broke at the start. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts. Broke near the 1850 metres. Broke again near the 1250 metres losing ground. Continued to race roughly thereafter.
CONQUER ME - broke at the start.
STREET APPEAL - due to transport difficulties driver G Smith was replaced by S Ottley. Over-raced middle stages.
EMMERSYN LEE - broke at the start. Hampered near the 350 metres.
POCKET WATCH - heavily checked near the 350 metres losing considerable ground.
TIGER MOTH - raced wide from near the 1400 metres. When questioned regarding the gelding's improved performance, the connections advised the horse had been trialling well and they had been confident of a forward showing last start but were checked out of the race near the 600 metres when travelling well.
Race 3   DOWNBYTHESEASIDE - FRESH, FERTILE, FAST MOBILE PACE
BEAU VISTA - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
ALL NUTS N BOLTS - drifted up the track under pressure over the concluding stages.
FRANKIE D - raced wide in the early stages. Hung outwards racing around the bends.
DARK RAGE - when spoken to regarding the performance, driver R May explained the gelding had hung badly throughout and he had been disappointed with the effort. Trainer B Hill advised he would be reassessing the horse's racing future. Stewards will follow up with Mr Hill in the coming days.
ROCKNROLL KING - paced roughly late in the score up and was out of position at the start. Raced wide in the early stages. Paced roughly throughout the event having to be restrained by driver J Dunn on several occasions. Drifted up the track under pressure over the concluding stages.
BILLIE JEAN - hung in the score up and was out of position at the start. Weakened from the 700 metres. Trainer/driver S McNally reported the mare to have hung throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare. Trainer S McNally advised it was his intention to relocate the horse from his stable.
FROSTY RECEPTION -briefly disappointed for clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.
Trainer B Hill advised Stewards on 28 August that DARK RAGE will no longer race from his stable.
Race 4   DUNSTAN HORSE FEEDS MET MEGA SERIES TROT
MARANATHA ATLAS - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
TIPTOE TROUBLE - lay outwards racing around the bends. Weakened near the 500 metres.
SALLY LINDENNY - weakened near the 500 metres.
KOWHAI SUNDOWN - fractious prior to the start. Broke at the start losing considerable ground. Placed onto the unruly for standing starts at the trainers request.
THE EYE OF THE TIGER - broke near the 300 metres. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until it was confirmed the mare did not gallop in excess of 150 metres.
PALISADE - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
THE PLAYER - Driver J Dunn advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 5   AMERICAN IDEAL-DOMINANT DUAL HEMISPHERE SIRE MOBILE PACE
NICOLE - held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
HELD TO RANSOM - had to be steadied racing into the first bend when crowded for racing room. Broke approaching the 500 metres. Driver J Alford reported the mare had been hanging outwards. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
SKREEMR - when questioned regarding the performance, driver M Williamson explained the horse had travelled well throughout but then hung under pressure and proved disappointing. Trainer B Mowbray was not able to offer any explanation. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.
SILENT RAPTURE - hung inwards in the early stages. Over-raced through the middle stages. Driver C DeFilippi was issued with a warning for the manner in which he shifted ground in the early stages which crowded the racing room of HELD TO RANSOM.
FABRIZIO - broke near the 800 metres losing its chance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stood down pending a satisfactory trial.
NOOSA BEACH - broke briefly at the start and was restrained. Hampered near the 800 metres losing ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the left front fetlock which required treatment. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance.
ASHES TO ASHES - late scratching on veterinary advice at 11.55am. A veterinary clearance is required prior to resuming.
NIGHT LIGHTS - out of position at the start. Driver J Anderson was issued with a warning. Hampered near the 500 metres.
TACTICAL CHANGE - hampered near the 500 metres.
Trainer B Mowbray advised Stewards on 28 August that SKREEMR was found to be suffering from a virus after racing at Addington last week and has since been treated.
Trainer C Barron advised on 30 October that NOOSA BEACH has had a wind operation since its last start.
Race 6   WHAT THE HILL - FRESH SON OF MUSCLE HILL HANDICAP TROT
BRIGHT GLOW - trotted roughly around the bends.
EASY PICKINGS - driver B Hope reported a tyre had deflated during the running.
IN SEQUENCE - broke at the start losing all chance.
MEKONG PRINCESS - raced keenly when leading through the middle stages. Weakened near the 600 metres and compounded soon after being distanced over the final stages.
Race 7   BETTOR'S DELIGHT - HARNESS RACING'S KING MOBILE PACE
THE MAROON MARAUDER - hung outwards sharply when being restrained to surrender the lead near the 1550 metres. Raced roughly on the final bend near the 400 metres and had to be steadied.
Race 8   SWEET LOU - FULL AND CLOSED HANDICAP PACE
ROYAL JESTER - broke at the start. Weakened near the 300 metres.
KING OF HEROES - driver C DeFilippi's foot slipped from the sulky footrest momentarily over the final stages with Mr DeFilippi being spoken to regarding this.
ONLY IN AMERICA - broke at the start.
GOD ONLY KNOWS - hampered in the early stages. Gave ground over the final stages. Trainer G Smith advised it was his intention to spell the gelding.
ROLLOVA - broke at the start.
SANTANNA MACH - held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
AVEROSS RUSTLER - driver R Close reported his gelding had been striking the wheel discs throughout.
Race 9   PEGASUS SPUR - ELITE TROTTING SIRE MOBILE TROT
UNIQUE ROSE - weakened near the 500 metres.
CRUSHER COLLINS - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500 metres. Broke near the 150 metres.
SHPEEDY - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500 metres.
QUAESTOR - checked and broke racing into the first bend.
SUGAR CANE - shifted inwards racing into the first bend placing QUAESTOR (K Butt) in restricted room which was checked and broke. Driver D McCormick defended a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) alleging he had driven carelessly in this incident. After hearing evidence from Stewards and both drivers and viewing the films, the JCA found the charge proved and Mr McCormick's Horseman's Licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 22 September 2019 (6 days).
CHASING GREAT - out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide without cover from near the 900 metres. Weakened near the 400 metres.
ONE NIGHT OUT - cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
JAW D NANCY - raced wide into the first bend.
Race 10   CHRISTCHURCH CASINO MOBILE PACE
THAT ALEXANDER GUY - over-raced in the early stages.
THE DUDE - raced roughly through the early stages.
QUEEN OF GLORY - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. A post race Veterinary examination showed the horse to be lame in the hind legs with a Veterinary clearance required prior to resuming.
SWEET LORESS - held up throughout the run home.
