HEATHER RAE - over raced middle stages.
MAJOR RAGE - lay in at various stages. Paced roughly losing ground rounding the final turn.
COURTNEY JANE - raced three wide early.
SEA CHANGE - raced three wide early.

Race 2   'HARNESS' - THE NEW FEED FROM FISKENS TROT (STAND)
SIR HENRY CASTLETON - broke approaching the first turn losing considerable ground.
PRETORIUS - stood on the mark when the barrier was released and was slow to begin causing a check to another runner. Broke passing the 300 metres.

Race 4   "NGAIRE'S GOT IT UNDER CONTROL" HANDICAP TROT
GEORGE - broke passing the 1300 metres settling at the rear. Broke passing the 800 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
MATUA TANA - broke approaching the first turn losing considerable ground. Broke near the 350 metres after contacting the sulky wheel of SOL INVICTUS and lost all chance. An information was lodged alleging that Driver T Mitchell drove carelessly striking a wheel causing his own horse to gallop passing the 350 metres. The charge was admitted and the JCA imposed a fine of $200.00.
THE HULK - commenced to give ground from the 700 metres.
MR GOOD AND EVIL - broke near the 2400 metres losing considerable ground. Broke again approaching the 1400 metres losing its chance.
PARAMOUNT KING - paced for a stride then broke briefly shortly after the start. Raced three wide from the 1400 metres.
SERTORIUS - raced three wide from the 1400 metres.
Race 5   T HERLIHY/B PURDON - AP'S JOINT TOP TRAINERS 18/19 MOB PACE
COURT ON THE EDGE - over raced middle stages. Shifted ground outward in the run home in an attempt to find clear racing room.
THE EMPRESS - lay in when caught three wide rounding the first turn.
HUNTER BROMAC - broke losing considerable ground after contesting a position in the one out line with RUBENS near the 1900 metres. After questioning Junior Driver J Morrison it was established that the gelding had become unbalanced when he attempted to maintain a trailing position in behind DELIGHTFUL DEAL when he was racing on even terms wheel to wheel with RUBENS. Stewards accepted his explanation.
GLADAMARE - inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 1900 metres.
SPIRIT OF ANZAC - inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 1900 metres. Broke approaching the 400 metres losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
MOHS EM DOWN - raced outside the leader from the middle stages and weakened final turn.
ADIEU FLIRT - weakened final turn.
Race 6   'SPORTS SCENE' - BRINGING AP TO THE MASSES MOBILE PACE
DRUM WITHERS - held up rounding the final turn and the early stages of the run home by a weakening runner.
LE GIRL - broke near the 1200 metres when attempting to improve three wide and was then restrained back to the rear. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS - raced three wide early.
EXPRESS DELIGHT - raced three wide early.
BELLA ROZA - held up in the initial stages of the run home.
ROMANITE - weakened final turn inconveniencing trailing runners.

Race 7   THANK YOU GRAHAM BAYLEY - 37 YEARS AT F'LIN PARK HCAP PACE
THE BULL PEN - lay in rounding the bends. Over raced middle stages.
SHILLELAGH - over-raced middle stages.
BAQUERO - broke approaching the first bend and lost ground before settling.
IVANA FLYBYE - broke at the start and veered down inside the marker line losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's standing start manners.
BARE KNUCKLE - weakened inside the 550 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed some inflammation in the respiratory tract.
Trainer B Mangos advised Stewards on 13 August that a bloodtest taken from BARE KNUCKLE had revealed the presence of a virus which had been treated with the mare continuing with its preparation.
DANCE TIME - reared shortly after the start and refused to move away with the field and trailed the field throughout. Stewards delayed the authorisation of the payment of dividends until such time it was established that the gelding had received a fair start. A warning was placed on the gelding's standing start record.
Race 8   ULTIMATE MACHETE AT ALABAR TENDER CLOSES SEPT 20 MOBILE PACE
HENRY HU - paced roughly shortly after the start settling in midfield. Paced roughly near the 500 metres and then again on several occasions early in the run home with Driver S Phelan electing not to activate the deafeners.
BLAIR BOY - underwent a post race veterinary examination at the request of connections which revealed some respiratory tract inflammation with the gelding to be freshened prior to resuming.
HAMPTON BANNER - lay in rounding the final turn losing ground.
DOUBLE OR NOTHING - underwent a post race veterinary examination at the request of connections which revealed some respiratory tract inflammation which will require treatment.
JOHNSON STEP - a late scratching on veterinary advice after becoming fractious and dislodging its driver during the preliminary.
Race 9   TONY HERLIHY - AP'S LEADING DRIVER 18/19 MOBILE PACE
BOLD RULER - broke in the score up and was well back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners record.
CHARLOTTE ROYAL - broke at the start and settled at the rear. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners record. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until it was confirmed that CHARLOTTE ROYAL had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
VANHALEM - held up early in the run home when disappointed for a run to the inside of SPIRIT OF LOVE.
QUICK AS FIRE - over-raced middle stages.
Race 10   MEZZE - A NIGHT OF SHARING AT AP FRI SEPT 13 TROT (STAND)
SUNNY PETITE - broke inside the 150 metres and galloped approximately 80 metres before settling. Disqualified from 4th placing by the JCA for breaking in excess of 50 metres in the final 200 metres.
PEANNIE - trotted roughly passing the 100 metres.
TE KOUKA DAWN - broke at the start settling towards the rear. Broke passing the 500 metres losing ground before settling.
THE URBAN SPACEMAN - broke at the start losing its chance.
SMARTLY SPOKEN - broke at the start and then locked wheels with KEYSTONE CAVALIER which resulted in Driver N Chilcott being tipped from the sulky. SMARTLY SPOKEN then continued on driverless in a strong gallop before being caught by the Clerk of the Course near the 1600 metres. A post race veterinary examination showed no abnormality. Ms Chilcott was examined by St Johns Ambulance Staff and cleared of any injury. A warning was placed on the gelding's standing start manners record.
CHINSKI - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
HIGHLAND QUEEN - broke near the 1800 metres when taking evasive action away from the driverless SMARTLY SPOKEN. The authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until it was confirmed that the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
KEYSTONE CAVALIER - checked and locked wheels shortly after the start losing ground. Inconvenienced shortly after by a galloping runner and trailed the field throughout.
OUR SPITFIRE - checked and broke shortly after the start losing its chance. Broke again over the latter stages of the run home.
