Trainer N Chilcott advised Stewards on 31 July that FERRITTS SISTER has recovered well since competing at Alexandra Park last week adding that the mare will have its fetlocks injected prior to resuming.

Race 1   AUGUST 30TH FRIDAY NIGHTS UNDER THE LIGHTS TROT
SPLITTING IMAGE - broke near the 1900m when leading, losing ground before settling.
MACKERELLI - Driver A Poutama reported that he didn't activate the deafeners due to having the field covered.
MOUNT ASPIRING - broke near the 200m. Disqualified from 5th place by the JCA for breaking in excess of 50m in the final 200m.
KEYSTONE CAVALIER - trotted roughly at various stages, in particular on the final turn. Broke early in the run home but soon settled.
TE KOUKA SUN RISE - broke at the start losing ground. Lay in and broke passing the 950m but soon settled
HIGHLAND QUEEN - checked and broke passing the 900m.
OUR SPITFIRE - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until it was confirmed the mare had complied with Breaking Horses Regulation.
GRIFFINS HALL - broke passing the 900m checking another runner. Broke again passing the 250m.
Race 2   WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
ARDEN'S SILHOUETTE - commenced to give ground from the 700m.
WHATCHAGOT - broke in the early stages of the score up but was in position at dispatch. Weakened final turn.
Race 3   MATANGI THUNDER ENTERTAINMENT TROT
BREAKING BAD - broke shortly after the start losing it's chance.
PRETORIUS - had difficulty obtaining clear running over the early and middle stages of the run home.
HARRY H - held up rounding the final turn and throughout the run home. Driver N Chilcott advised the she was unable to activate the removable deafeners as a result.
LITTLEBITOFLOVE - slow away.
KIMKAR DASH - slow away.
Race 4   HAMILTON SOUND & LIGHTING MOBILE PACE
SUPER ACTOR - paced roughly and then broke under pressure late in the run home.
CARSE O FERN CULLY - raced three wide early. Weakened on the home turn.
NEW FRONTIER - over-raced in the score up and over the early stages before being taken forward three wide to race outside the leader at the 1300m. Weakened inside the final 400m.
Race 5   FARMLANDS CO-OPERATIVE MOBILE PACE
RUNCLE - held up rounding the final turn and early stage of the run home.
SOLE AMBITION - restrained early and then shuffled back on the marker line during the middle stages when the lead changed on several occasions. Raced three wide with cover from the 800m before commencing to improve wide passing the 300m. Shifted in and had to be corrected near the 150m before finishing on strongly into 2nd place beaten a long neck. Junior Driver N Delany, assisted by Senior Driver S Phelan, was questioned regarding his drive and in particular as to whether he would have been better served to have commenced to improve earlier on the final turn. Mr Delany stated that he had elected to go back at the start and look to get a trail forward into the race as the gelding had performed well previously when driven for one run. He further stated that he had felt that COUNT LANDECK, which he was following, was still travelling well approaching the 400m but that the gelding had then started to battle shortly after so he shifted SOLE AMBITION out to commence it's run however FLYING STEPS had established a winning break which he had been unable to make up. Mr Delaney also conceded that in hindsight it would have been a better option to commence his run earlier rather than remain on the back of COUNT LANDECK. After considering the matter Mr Delaney was severely reprimanded for the manner in which he had driven and advised that he would be expected to show better judgement given similar circumstances in the future.
COUNT LANDECK - eased out and forced to race three wide inside the final 950m.
Race 6   FOSTERS ENGINEERING MOBILE PACE
SIR TIGER - A Drake (as the person in charge) was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting SIR TIGER with removable deafeners which were not notified.
SPARE CHANGE - B Mangos was approved as a late driving change due to an office error.
WILLEDU - over-raced in the score up and lay in badly rounding the bends. Weakened out inside the final 600m. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
Race 7   DUNSTAN HORSE FEEDS HCP TROT
LUCK OF THE MOMENT - over-raced in the middle stages.
MAJESTIC STRIDE - broke passing the 600m losing it's chance.
ASTOUND - broke passing the 100m.
TAKENOPRISONERS - Driver A Poutama was cautioned regarding his starting position on the unruly and advised of his obligations. The gelding was removed from the unruly position for future standing starts.
ONE OVER DA SKYE - slow away. Broke passing the 1800m losing it's chance. A final warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.
LOVELY BUNDY - slow away. Inconvenienced by a galloping runner passing the 600m. Held up rounding the final turn and early stages of the run home.
Race 8   SEPT 5TH FAULTY TOWERS AT THE RACES MOBILE PACE
LADY SANTANNA - Driver R Fensom was cautioned in regard to the manner he shifted ground approaching the 800m which resulted in AU REVOIR being inconvenienced briefly.
AU REVOIR - inconvenienced and paced roughly for several strides approaching the 800m. Weakened out rounding the final turn.
ALLONBLACK - raced three wide early before being improved to the lead passing the 1600m. Over-raced in the middle stages when leading.
