Race 1   RHRC KID'S BOUNCY CASTLE FILLIES & MARES MOBILE TROT
QUAESTOR - trotted roughly at various stages throughout. Placed on the unruly for standing starts at the trainer's request.
JAGUAR BAY - broke near the 1600 metres losing some ground. Broke again passing the 850 metres losing all chance. Trainer/driver P Wakelin reported the mare had trotted roughly throughout and had been hitting itself.
Race 2   KAIAPOI CLUB RACING SECTION PACE
MALDITO - over-raced through the middle stages. Held up on the final bend.
CHALBERG - broke at the start.
COMFORTABLY NUMB - slow to begin. Weakened final bend. Driver N Williamson reported a sulky tyre had deflated late in the running.
WAR HERO - driver J Dunn reported one shortener pin had not released and the gelding's deafeners were not activated due to having the field covered.
Race 3   SARAH O'REILLY NZ JUNIOR DRIVERS CHAMPION 2019 MOBILE PACE
ALREADY GONE - hampered near the 1800 metres.
EXPRESSO DENARIO - the murphy blind was removed prior to the start after warming up unfavourably. Lay inwards in the early stages.
MRS WASHINGTON - hampered briefly near the 700 metres.
KENNEDY - raced wide into the first bend. Over-raced and became awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of HANDS UP JACK passing the 700 metres and broke briefly.
HEIDI FROST - weakened final bend.
MINNELLI SMILE - placed in restricted room due to an easing of the pace passing the 1800 metres and broke losing ground. Raced wide around the final bend.
KEY REACTOR - over-raced in the middle stages. Driver M Williamson advised the gelding had been striking the sulky wheels throughout.
MANLY OLSEN - raced wide early stages.
GOTTA PARTY DOLL - hampered near the 1800 metres.
HANDS UP JACK - raced wide without cover from the 1100 metres until the 700 metres.
Race 4   RANGIORA RSA & CLUB TROT
WINDSOR - trotted roughly before breaking near the 200 metres.
SHPEEDY - broke shortly after the start.
HEAVENLY LOVE - broke near the 500 metres.
RED HARBOUR - placed on the unruly for standing starts at the trainer's request.
LITTLE MISS - broke shortly after the start. Broke again entering the first bend. Weakened from the 600 metres.
Race 5   HORNBY WORKING MEN'S CLUB RANGIORA WINTER CUP (HCP PACE)
GOD ONLY KNOWS - broke at the start. Junior driver S Diamant (assisted by G Smith) was spoken to advisedly when her rein was stood on by a following runner near the 1300 metres.
JAY TEE TYRON - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until Stewards confirmed the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations in the early stages.
Race 6   NEW SEASON 11TH AUGUST 2019 PACE
RAGNARR - broke at the start.
JR FULHAM - broke at the start.
BOUND TO IMPRESS - lay outwards through the back straight on the final occasion.
ARDENT LUSTRE - over-raced middle stages. Lay inwards leaving the final bend making contact with several track markers.
Race 7   RHRC FASHION IN THE FIELD 11TH AUGUST MOBILE PACE
PAUL'S VERDICT - weakened from the 600 metres. Driver S Ottley reported a sulky tyre had deflated during the running.
HE'S A LADIES MAN - slow to leave the pre-race circle and was out of position at the start. Junior driver R Heads was spoken to advisedly regarding the correct starting procedure. Weakened final bend.
SWEET LORESS - lay outwards in the home straight.
