Race 4 - McMILLAN EQUINE FEEDS NZ JUNIOR DRIVERS CHAMPS (H3) MOB PACE |
Trainer M Purvis advised Stewards on 9 July that a subsequent veterinary examination of MAGNATE MARA revealed that the gelding had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Mr Purvis was advised that a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG which is required to take place after strenuous exercise is required before the horse resumes racing. |

Trainer J Cox advised Stewards on 12 July that LIGHTFOOT LADY had returned to his stable with nasal discharge and a cough. Mr Cox added that the mare would be treated and sent for a spell. |
