DREAM OF PAT - broke near the 400 metres.
THE POWER BROKER - raced wide from the 700 metres.
WHANGAMATA - lay outwards passing the 800 metres.
HAVEHORSEWILLTRAVEL - slow early stages.
MAJESTIC ROSE - broke near the 2200 metres losing all chance.
JIMMY CARTER - slow early stages. Hampered by breaking runner at the 2200 metres.
T BONE RAWHIDE - was pre-race warmed. Slow early stages.
Race 2   NZ HORSE TRANSPORT MOBILE PACE
BOOMCHUCKALUCKA - broke briefly near the 1200 metres. Raced wide without cover from the 800 metres.
JAMIES BAD BOY - over raced middle stages.
HUCKABEE - over raced early stages when being restrained to take cover.
PLAY BY EAR - Driver N Williamson reported that the gelding had raced greenly throughout.
FLAMING JIM - hung outwards first bend. Over raced middle stages. Hung outwards in the run home. Driver M Williamson advised he did not activate the removable gear due to having the field covered.
OLD LUKE - raced wide early and middle stages. Hung inwards throughout proving difficult to drive.
Race 3   FORBURY PARK JUNIOR DRIVERS HANDICAP TROT
ARDEE TROUBLE - bounded as the tapes were released with the tape contacting the gelding's legs, then trotted for several strides before breaking. Stewards sought a request for a ruling under rule 213(1)(j) as to whether ARDEE TROUBLE was denied a fair start. After hearing evidence from Stewards and the connections, the JCA deemed the gelding to be a runner. Junior Driver M Lewis was issued with a warning under Rule 869(4) in that she allowed her horse to contact the barrier tape.
PAT THE MONKEY - broke racing into the first bend then continued to a break for quite some distance losing all chance.
FIREMAN - broke at the start.
CABELLA NOIR - weakened from the 500 metres.
HENGROEN - broke near the 1700 metres losing all chance.
SPURRED BY SUCCESS - hampered at the 1700 metres. Broke near the 700 metres.
SPURS OF WAR - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
GRACE O'MALLEY - broke passing the 1600 metres losing all chance. Junior Driver S Tomlinson advised the mare had hung inwards.
IMRAN KHAN - junior Driver K Butt reported she did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 4   DUNEDIN CITY MOTORS MOBILE PACE
The start of this race was delayed due to the protest in the previous race.
MATINEE IDOL - held up final bend.
WHISKYINTHEJAR - raced wide throughout and weakened from the 600 metres.
AVEROSS FERRARI - raced wide into the first bend.
Race 5   MID WINTER XMAS BUFFET 4th JULY PACE
LOISSONYA - broke at the start. Held up in the early and later stages of the run home. Driver N Williamson reported that he did not activate the sliding blinds due to this.
WOMAN IN CHARGE - broke at the start.
TACT DENZEL - broke at the start.
THE BEAST - hung inwards on several occasions throughout. Weakened from the 400 metres.
LIGHTFOOT LADY - broke at the start. Lay inwards over the concluding stages.
TOP POCKET CHANCE - held up by weakening runner final bend.
Race 6   PICK 6 STARTS NOW MOBILE PACE
PHOEBE'S DELIGHT - hung inwards leaving the first bend.
FRAUD - hampered by weakening runner at the 600 metres.
EXTREME ROBYN - held up in the latter stages of the home straight.
LIVE ON SUZIE - hung inwards and over raced at various stages throughout. Weakened from the 600 metres with a warning being placed on the mare's racing record.
HONOUR BEFORE GLORY - raced wide early stages.
Race 7   FORBURY PARK JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
MAGNETIC WATCH - raced wide early stages.
GABBY'S STAR - raced wide final bend.
NAIYA FRANCO - held up rounding final bend.
GEORGIE MARTIN - held up late in the run home.
CRUISIN REUBEN - raced wide from the 600 metres.
Race 8   NORWOOD FARM MACHINERY MOBILE PACE
ELVA JACCKA - weakened from the 600 metres. When questioned as to the performance of the mare Driver N Williamson could offer no tangible explanation. Stewards requested a post race Veterinary examination which revealed the early stages of a respiratory infection. Stewards will follow up in the coming days with trainer B.Gray.
GROOMSMAN - held up final bend.
OMAR SHARIF - raced wide early stages.
RUNNING ON EMPTY - over raced middle stages. Held up throughout the run home.
Race 9   YALDHURST HOTEL MOBILE PACE
BETTERTHANBRIE - weakened from the 400 metres. When spoken to co-Trainer K Barclay advised that they were disappointed with the run and could offer no tangible explanation and advised it was their intention to send the mare for a spell.
FRANCESCA CUMANI - weakened from the 700 metres. Stewards requested a post race Veterinary examination which revealed no obvious abnormalities. Stewards will follow up in the coming days with trainer K Barron.
JETENARA - weakened from the 1400 metres. When spoken to junior Driver K Butt advised that the gelding had been striking it's knees throughout and would be recommending gear changes to the Trainer. Stewards requested a post race Veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
Race 10   NEXT RACEMEETING 27th JUNE HANDICAP TROT
TOPNOTCH EAGLE - broke near the 400 metres.
BEST OF THE BUNCH - trotted roughly passing the 1200 metres.
LIBERTY STRIDE - Driver M Williamson reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
AMABEDE - weakened from the 700 metres.
PLAYBOY'S BROTHER - weakened from the 500 metres.
ROBBIE ROYALE - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
Race 11   FORBURY PARK CLAIMERS SERIES MOBILE PACE
ALEXY - placed in restricted room passing the 300 metres where the gelding broke losing all chance. Driver D O'Connell was charged and admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) where he drove carelessly at this point. After viewing the films and hearing the evidence the JCA suspended Mr O'Connell's licence for 3 days from the 20th June up to and including the 4th July. The gelding was claimed.
SQUARE DEALER - Trainer J Cox requested that the gelding be placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
MR HANDLEMAN - raced in tight quarters passing the 300 metres with ALEXY breaking to the inside with Driver B Williamson becoming unbalanced in the sulky.
GIMMEFIVEMINUTESMORE - held up round final bend.
THE NIGHT HAWK - paced roughly shortly after the start.
IDEAL BREEZE - Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry under Rule 847(3) in relation to Driver A Beck.
