Race 1   WOODLANDS 4YO DIAMOND (MOBILE PACE)
BAQUERO - inconvenienced between the 600 metres and the 300 metres by a weakening runner.
IN THE SHADOWS - raced roughly when being steadied near the 700 metres.
BETTERTHANKATY - weakened from the 600 metres.
TIGER SWIFT - broke in the middle stages of the score up checking BRIDESDALE ROBYN with a false start being declared. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver D Butcher elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the re-start.
ROCKABILLY BLUES - the required veterinary clearance was received. Weakened leaving the final bend. Driver N Williamson advised his intention had been to restrain and look for cover in the early stages however the mare had raced keenly as a result of the false start leaving him to take up a more forwards position than anticipated.
ELLE MAC - raced wide in the early and middle stages before progressing to sit parked near the 1100 metres.
MAJOR OCCASION - broke in the initial stages of the score up and was some distance back prior to a false start being declared. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record. Raced wide from the 1700 metres. Weakened final bend.
ADIEU FLIRT - trainer/driver J Abernethy reported the mare's over check to have broken immediately prior to dispatch.
SWEET MARY - raced wide in the early stages. Over-raced approaching the 1200 metres when attempting to surrender the parked position.
BRIDESDALE ROBYN - checked in the score up with a false start being declared. Hampered on the final bend by a weakening runner having to shift ground.
Race 2   HANLEY FORMULA 2YO RUBY (MOBILE TROT)
MUSCLE MOUNTAIN - back at the start despite the efforts of driver B Hope. Broke at the 1500 metres.
ONE MAJIC KENNY - broke in the score up at the first attempt at a start and made contact with the gate with the Starter calling a false start. Again broke at the second attempt at a start losing considerable ground. Will now be drawn unruly for mobile starts.
MAJESTIC SUNRISE - broke in the score up in the first attempt at a start. Broke early in the score up of the re-start losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
MIDNIGHT DASH - broke shortly after the start.
BOLT FOR BRILLIANCE - lay outwards over the final stages of the score up and was out of position at the start.
SIMONE DE BEAUVOIR - paced and then broke in the early stages of the first and second score ups. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier record. Broke near the 900 metres.
RASTUSBURN - broke late in the score up at the first attempt at a start. Slow through the early stages getting back as a result. Gave ground near the 700 metres.
TAILORED ELEGANCE - inconvenienced by the breaking MAJESTIC SUNRISE in the score up at the first attempt at a start. Broke briefly near the 1350 metres.
DREAMSINTHE MIST - broke shortly after the start.
Race 3   TERROR TO LOVE 'JEWELS WINNER' 2YO DIAMOND (MOBILE PACE)
LULU LE MANS - unable to maintain its position in the field from the 600 metres. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver S Tomlinson reported the filly to have travelled lethargically throughout and proved disappointing when asked for an effort. Co-trainer M Jones advised that the filly would now be spelled. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an elevated heart rate and prolonged recovery. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
MISS RUBY SUNSHINE - briefly placed in restricted room in the early stages and had to be steadied. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 500 metres and had to shift ground in order to improve.
GEMMA MAC - over-raced middle stages.
SWEET ON ME - lay inwards at the 350 metres and again near the 150 metres.
MAHARANI - back at the start despite the efforts of driver N Williamson.
AMAZING DREAM - raced wide from the 900 metres.
Race 4   MCMILLAN EQUINE FEEDS 2YO EMERALD (MOBILE PACE)
SKIPPYS DELIGHT - over-raced and then had to be steadied near the 1200 metres due to a slight easing of the pace. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the final straight. Driver R May reported he had not released the gelding's deafeners.
THE IDEAL TOUCH - over-raced and then had to be steadied near the 1200 metres due to a slight easing of the pace.
VIRGIL - held up leaving the final bend until near the 150 metres.
CRANBOURNE - raced wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear near the 1500 metres. Raced wide from the 1100 metres. Shifted outwards under pressure through the final straight making contact with the sulky of EAGLE WATCH near the 100 metres causing the colt to blunder and race roughly for several strides.
PERAKI REACTOR - hampered near the 1100 metres by a breaking runner then raced keenly for a short distance thereafter. Weakened from the 400 metres.
DINA BOLT - when questioned regarding the colt's performance, driver M Purdon explained the colt had been asked to work too hard in the early stages.
EAGLE WATCH - broke near the 1100 metres after becoming awkwardly positioned close to the sulky of SKIPPYS DELIGHT because of an easing of the pace. Soon after the near side rein burr came adrift. Driver T Mitchell reported he had not been able to release the colt's deafeners due to the cord breaking.
ABOVE N BEYOND - had to shift wider near the 400 metres to avoid a weakening runner.
Race 5   THE GOOD HOME PEGASUS 3YO RUBY (MOBILE TROT)
CHEERFUL - broke as the start was effected checking OVERZEALOUS. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier record.
ALL CASHED UP(AUS) - broke near the 1700 metres when leading. Driver G Craven reported the colt had not been suited to the track conditions.
TICKLE ME PINK - shifted inwards marginally with 30 metres remaining making contact with the sulky wheel of TRICKY RIC. Stewards inquired into this incident with drivers J Dickie (TRICKY RIC) and T Herlihy however Mr Dickie nor the Stewards were satisfied that TRICKY RIC would have beaten TICKLE ME PINK home had it not been for this contact with placings cleared accordingly.
ONE APOLLO - lay inwards on the final bend and broke near the 400 metres.
MONARO MARO - broke leaving the final bend.
ENHANCE YOUR CALM - broke shortly after the start. The all clear was delayed until it could be confirmed the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations. Stood down pending one satisfactory mobile trial.
OVERZEALOUS - checked and broke shortly after the start.
Following this race the track was upgraded to easy.
Race 6   COMMODORE HOTEL 3YO DIAMOND (MOBILE PACE)
NAKURU - raced wide early stages. Weakened from the 400 metres.
PRINCESS TIFFANY - raced wide in the early and middle stages. Trainers M Purdon & N Rasmussen were issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to securely affix a bandage which came adrift during the running.
ANAMAJOR - over-raced middle stages.
BEST WESTERN - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend and lost ground.
KAYLA MARIE - raced wide in the early and middle stages. Trainers M Purdon & N Rasmussen were issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to securely affix a bandage which came adrift during the running.
HAVTIME - raced wide from the 1300 metres.
SHECANDANCE - raced keenly middle stages.
Race 7   IRT 4YO EMERALD (MOBILE PACE)
ON THE CARDS - locked wheels with FLYING MISTER IDEAL near the 300 metres.
FUNATTHEBEACH - raced wide early stages.
ASHLEY LOCAZ - raced wide from the 700 metres.
VINTAGE CHEDDAR - raced wide throughout. Weakened passing the 500 metres.
FALCON STRIDE - raced wide early stages. Driver L Tritton reported the gelding had raced lethargically throughout and a post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
TRIPLE EIGHT - held up on the final bend.
FLYING MISTER IDEAL - locked wheels with ON THE CARDS near the 300 metres.
Following this race the track was downgraded back to slushy.
Race 8   MCMILLAN EQUINE FEEDS 4YO RUBY (MOBILE TROT)
WEE MAN TROUBLE - broke in the score up checking MAJESTIC MAN with a false start being declared. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Driver B Orange elected to move to the unruly position for the re-start. Broke approaching the 800 metres.
ONE OVER DA SKYE - weakened inside the final 800 metres.
WINTERFELL - over-raced middle stages.
MAJESTIC MAN - checked in the score up with a false start being declared.
MAJESTIC HURRICANE - over-raced throughout.
WAR ADMIRAL - broke after 100 metres and continued in a break for some distance losing all chance.
Race 9   BLUE STAR TAXIS 3YO EMERALD (MOBILE PACE)
There was a four minute delay to the start due to GLOBAL DOMINATION requiring farrier work.
HEISENBERG - when questioned regarding the gelding's performance, driver J Dunn reported the pressure applied to its lead in the early stages had taken its toll at the conclusion of the race.
ROBYNS PLAYBOY - held up on the final bend.
MIGHTY FLYING ART - raced wide early stages.
JESSE DUKE - raced wide early stages.
ABOUT TURN - held up on the final bend.
MEMPHIS TENNESSEE - raced roughly when under pressure leaving the final bend and shifted wider.
