Race 1   GRAND PARK MOBILE TROT
JUST RICKY - broke approaching the 1900 metres.
EYRE I GO - trainer M Jones was charged a $25.00 colour fee.
BLUE COMAN - lay in rounding the final bend and was placed in tight quarters with 250 metres to run.
LOLLIEPROP - inconvenienced inside the 300 metres by a galloping runner.
DAISY HILL - inclined to lay out during the score up prior to the start and lacked gate speed, slow away.
RESONATE - improved three wide from inside the 1500 metres to reach the lead with 1050 metres to run. Broke approaching the 300 metres losing its chance. Driver P Ferguson could offer no reason for the gelding galloping.
Race 2   'SOUTH OF THE BOMBAYS' HERE IN JUNE/JULY MOBILE PACE
LADY SANTANNA - weakened from inside the 400 metres.
JANET GUTHRIE - weakened inside the final 400 metres.
OUR WICKLOW - permission was granted to remove the boring pole following the gelding's preliminary. Under pressure in the lead, passing the 500 metres and weakened inside the 400 metres.
OLIVIA RACHEL - over raced middle stages.
BETTER THAN MOST - paced roughly racing into the first bend after the start. Inconvenienced by a breaking runner approaching the 400 metres then held up over the early stages of the run home.
EL CAPITAN - paced roughly and galloped for several strides passing the 400 metres.
BIT OF A TIGER - raced three wide early.
TRIOLET - inconvenienced by a tiring runner and held up rounding the final turn, obtained clear running inside the final 150 metres.
Race 3   WE'LL MISS YOU JACQUELINE MACLEOD MOBILE TROT
GRENADO - trotted unevenly passing the 2000 metres and broke approaching the 1900 metres.
SAFRAKOVA - inconvenienced by a galloping runner rounding the first bend.
AS FREE AS AIR - steadied away from a galloping runner approaching the 1900 metres and then broke rounding the first turn losing ground settling at the rear of the field. Inconvenienced by breaking runner approaching the 950 metres. Broke passing the 600 metres.
SERTORIUS - broke approaching the 950 metres when shifting ground outward from the running line. An information was lodged alleging that Junior Driver C Smith drove carelessly contacting the sulky wheel of MISS BLISSFUL resulting in his gelding galloping, losing its chance. The charge was admitted and the JCA imposed a fine of $275.00.
MISS BLISSFUL - sulky wheel contacted at the 950 metres resulted in the mare pulling a flat tyre from that point.
KENNY'S DREAM - broke in the early stages of the score up and was out of position by three lengths at the start. Junior Driver L Whittaker advised that he did not activate the mare's removable deafeners. Stewards reviewed the replay of the start with Mr Whittaker and Senior Horseman J Abernethy and he was advised that despite the mare galloping in the score up and losing considerable ground, that he must make a greater effort to reach his correct barrier position.
Race 4   ALWAYS B MIKI N.I HARNESS AWARDS 31 AUGUST MOBILE PACE
The track was down graded from fast to slushy.
HAPPY PLACE - placed in tight quarters shortly after the start
BENJAMIN BUTTON - lay in during the score up placing an inside runner in tight quarters after the start.
COPY THAT - over raced early and middle stages when clear in the lead.
BRYDON EARL - broke passing the 550 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
ALTA BOY - failed to maintain contact with the field over the latter stages.
Race 5   FATHER PATRICK AT NEVELE R STUD MOBILE TROT
GREAT FANTASY - weakened rounding the final bend.
PRIMUS INTER PARES - broke passing the 300 metres.
LUCK OF THE MOMENT - inclined to lay in rounding the bends.
MAJESTIC MOMENT - raced three wide early. Lay out in the lead rounding the final turn, shifting wider on the track which resulted in LUCK OF THE MOMENT obtaining a run to its inside.
MAGNAFIQUE - inconvenienced by a tiring runner, and then checked by a galloping runner passing the 300 metres.
Race 6   ULTIMATE MACHETE AT ALABAR MOBILE PACE
KIWI BLOKE - proceeded to over race in the lead when being eased to take a trail approaching the 1600 metres. Over raced again approaching the 1000 metres when being restrained to take a trail in behind KOTARE CULLEN which had moved from the two wide line inward to the running line. Weakened inside the final 600 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
JUST WING IT - raced three wide early. Inconvenienced by a tiring runner approaching the 600 metres.
THE BULL PEN - showed gate speed but was unable to reach the lead rounding the first bend. Moved forward to the lead at the 1500 metres after having some difficultly obtaining this position, as KIWI BLOKE over raced to its inside. Attacked for the lead on two occasions, passing the 1100 metres, and again at the 600 metres and then battled on to finish sixth, beaten 4.8 lengths.
KOTARE CULLEN - lay in badly rounding the final turn and weakened out. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Driver P Ferguson was questioned by Stewards in regard to his shift from outside the leader to the trail approaching the 1000 metres which momentarily placed KIWI BLOKE in restricted room. Junior Driver J Morrison (KIWI BLOKE) explained that he had encouraged his horse to maintain the trailing position behind the leader,THE BULL PEN, and that when KOTARE CULLEN improved down to a position in front of him there was sufficient room for Driver P Ferguson to complete the shift inward, however his gelding over raced when being restrained which resulted in him being momentary placed in restricted room.
Race 7   SCHWEPPES MOBILE PACE
FLYING FINN - Driver D Butcher advised stewards that he was pleased with the gelding's run considering the jump up in class of this race. This well supported runner finished in sixth placing, beaten 3.1 lengths.
QUICK AS FIRE - over raced one out outside the leader over the early and middle stages.
MIRACLE MOOSE - raced three wide from inside the finally 1500 metres and was caught in this position for the remainder of the journey resulting in it weakening out over the concluding stages.
SOLE AMBITION - over raced in the score up and again after the start when being restrained.
SIMON - a length out of position at the start. Driver J Stormont was warned to maintain his barrier position.
AUTHENTIC - broke free of interference passing the 800 metres losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
Race 8   DUNSTAN SPEEDFEED MOBILE TROT
BURT MUNRO - inconvenienced by galloping runner passing the 700 metres.
PRINCE GEORGE - inconvenienced by galloping runner passing the 700 metres.
LUKYANOVA - Trainer K Marshall was fined $100.00 for presenting the mare with an anti - choke device which was not notified. Raced three wide early before reaching a position outside the leader at the 1600 metres. Broke when passing the 100 metres when in a challenging position losing its chance.
ASTOUND - raced three wide early before reaching a position outside the leader approaching the 1400 metres.
SAVITSKAYA - raced wide early before being improved to lead at the 1700 metres. Began to tire inside the final 1000 metres and broke losing its chance passing the 700 metres.
LOCKSMITH - a length out of position at the start. Raced three wide from inside the 1150 metres.
WAIT FOR SUCCESS - a length out of position at the start. A post race veterinary examination found the gelding had bled from both nostrils and it was declared ineligible under Rule 213(1)(i) for a period of 30 days up to and including 30 June 2019. The connections are also required to provide a veterinary certificate of fitness including a clear scope prior to trialling satisfactory before resuming.
THE PEAKY BLINDER - raced three wide final 1000 metres and ran on strongly from the rear.
DANKE - the gelding was removed from the unruly list for mobile starts.
Race 9   ALEXANDRA PARK MID-WINTER CHRISTMAS PARTY MOBILE PACE
MACHTEER - broke passing the 350 metres after a hopple carrier came adrift. Trainer S Telfer was issued a Minor Infringement Notice and fined $100.00 for failing to afix the gear so as not to come adrift.
HEY GOOD LOOKIN - broke approaching the 1400 metres losing ground. A warning was placed on the filly's racing manners record.
LE GIRL - Driver K Marshall was cautioned that he must be within a half of a length from the mobile gate when reaching the candy pole prior to the start.
DEMIDEAL - raced fiercely over the middle stages giving Driver T Macfarlane a difficult drive. The filly then weakened out inside the final 350 metres.
SEA CHANGE - inconvenienced by a breaking runner passing the 350 metres.
HEATHER RAE - over raced in the score up. Inconvenienced by a breaking runner passing the 350 metres.
