Race 1   FAT SALLY'S PUB & RESTAURANT TROT
DD'S SUPER STUART - broke after 150 metres.
KEN'S DREAM - trotted roughly final bend and in the home straight.
SWEET JEWELIETTE - broke rounding the first bend.
QUAESTOR - driver K Butt advised the removable deafeners were not activated due to having the field covered.
B K DOVER - broke racing into the first bend. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
BE BEE LASS - broke racing into the first bend.
LANE'S ACE - trotted roughly throughout. Broke late in the run home.
JIMMY CARTER - paced away losing all chance and was retired from the race.
Race 2   AIRPARK CANTERBURY MOBILE PACE
LE TISSIER - held up final bend by a weakening runner.
WOODLEA AC - weakened from the 500 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A side hopple carrier came adrift during the running. Stewards inspected the gear and trainer R Close was found not to be at fault. When questioned regarding the performance, trainer/driver R Close could offer no explanation and advised he was very disappointed with the effort and would no longer be persevering with the gelding from his stable.
OLIVE COOK - held up final bend by a weakening runner.
MILLWOOD BONNIE - driver M Anderson will be spoken to in the coming days regarding him failing to report that he did not activate the removable deafeners.
IRON WOMAN - raced wide early stages.
NANS CHOICE - held up final bend by a weakening runner.
JAMIES BAD BOY - hung outwards through the middle stages causing driver B Williamson some difficulty. Held up final bend by a weakening runner. Mr Williamson reported he was unable to activate the removable deafeners. Trainer C Buchan will be spoken to in the coming days regarding this.
NIGHT LIGHTS - briefly held up passing the 100 metres and had to be shifted wider on the track.
FRANCO HATTON - held up final bend by a weakening runner.
Driver M Anderson was cautioned for failing to notify Stewards that he did not activate the removable deafeners on MILLWOOD BONNIE.
Trainer C Buchan (JAMIES BAD BOY) was warned for failing to affix the removable deafeners so as not to malfunction.
Race 3   ONE SMART COFFEE PACE
LIVING FANTASY - paced roughly passing the 2100 metres and had to be steadied.
LIGHTFOOT LADY - held up final bend by weakening runners.
MY NIGHT SKY - began awkwardly. Weakened from the 600 metres.
SHEZ GORGEOUS - fractious prior to the start. Broke shortly after the start checking trailing runners. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts. Co-trainer/driver T Chmiel advised SHEZ GORGEOUS would no longer be persevered with from his stable.
OUT OF THE SHADOWS - broke at the start. Weakened from the 600 metres.
IT'S A SHAWTHING - raced wide early stages.
MISS BEHAVIN - trainer G Smith was fined $100 by the JCA for being late to present MISS BEHAVIN on course. Broke briefly at the start.
RAKAGEM - broke racing into the first bend. Held up final bend by weakening runners.
MRS WASHINGTON - broke briefly at the start.
CHALBERG - late scratching at 8.30am on veterinary advice. A veterinary clearance is required prior to resuming.
DALNESS ARIZONA - lay inwards shortly after the start having to be steadied. Checked and broke after 100 metres losing all chance.
LOISSONYA - checked shortly after the start. Driver J Young reported she sustained a punctured sulky tyre during the running.
ULTIMATE SWIFT - held up final bend by weakening runners.
Race 4   PGG WRIGHTSON MOBILE PACE
ALEXY - held up final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
HOT STARFF - over-raced early stages. Raced wide throughout.
RIPSNORTER - raced wide early stages. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding due to the manner in which it behaved prior to arriving at the start and when exiting the track following the race. Trainer E Latimer advised he would no longer be persevering with the gelding from his stable.
CHIEF KAPAI - raced wide early and middle stages.
IDEOLOGIST - raced wide early and middle stages.
KNOCKMANAUGH - hung inwards on the final bend when weakening.
FLYINGMASTERWILLIAMS - held up final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
ROZZANO - over-raced middle stages.

VIGOROSO - over-raced early stages. Checked by a breaking runner near the 1100 metres.
PLAYBOY PRINCE - checked and broke near the 1100 metres and was retired from the race.
BEST OF THE BUNCH - hung inwards and broke near the 1100 metres checking trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
DOUBLE O HEAVEN - fractious prior to the start.
FEEL THE MONEY - came together with CHANGE IS GOOD just short of the finishing line.
PAUL'S VERDICT - over-raced early stages.
SHARNAE - over-raced early stages.
CHANGE IS GOOD - lay inwards over the concluding stages and came together with FEEL THE MONEY just short of the finishing line.
Race 6   PICK & SHOVEL WINE MOBILE PACE
PRINCE ART - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Hung inwards and weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance, driver T Williams advised he was very disappointed with the gelding's effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
ROCKNROLL KING - raced wide early stages.
GET IT ON - weakened final bend.
STINGER LINDENNY - shifted out from the trail near the 1500 metres and made an unsuccessful attempt for the front with the gelding racing fiercely for a short distance before being able to be restrained and returned to the trailing position. Weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
CANSTAR - held up final bend.
DONEGAL GILBERT - paced roughly through the middle stages. Held up final bend.
Race 7   PHILLIPS HORSE TRANSPORT FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
QUEENOFDANCE - held up final bend and in the early and middle stages of the run home.
CLASSIE MARGARET - held up early stages of the run home.
LOMA JACCKA - trainer B Gray was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after presenting the mare to race with sliding blinds which had not been notified.
HOLD ON ARIZONA - held up final bend and early stages of the run home.
MINI MINE YET - raced three wide for a distance passing the 1300 metres after being shifted wider on the track by HOLD ON ARIZONA when not progressing forward. Driver S O'Reilly was shown a replay and spoken to advisedly for the manner in which she drove at this stage of the race. Held up final bend and for the majority of the home straight.
DELIGHTFUL TANNER - driver K Cox reported the mare lay inwards throughout the home straight.
Race 8   DAVID OVENS BUILDING TROT
DON'T LOOK BACK - held up final bend.
CHRISTMAS BABE - broke at the start checking outside runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Weakened final bend.
BONO HEST - checked shortly after the start with driver E Barron becoming unbalanced in the sulky.
DON'T ROCK THE BOAT - checked and broke shortly after the start.
SKYLINE - held up for clear racing room leaving the final bend.
RED HARBOUR - broke briefly at the start. A final warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
BREAK OUT - raced wide early stages.
HUMBLE LADD - trotted roughly through the early stages when racing wide on the track. Broke near the 500 metres.
MICKEY JAY - raced wide early stages. Hampered by a breaking runner final bend.
JACCKA JEORGE - hampered at the start.
JERRY GARCIA - raced wide through the early and middle stages. Held up early stages of the run home.
Race 9   MORRISON'S SADDLERY & FEED HANDICAP PACE
BILLY KLONDIKE - broke at the start checking trailing runners and lost all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
AVEROSS FERRARI - held up leaving the final bend.
BAKARI - trainer G Smith was issued a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to notify a driver by the prescribed time. Broke briefly at the start.
SHADOW MINISTER - checked and broke at the start losing all chance.
DONEGAL ART CHOKIN - broke at the start. Held up final bend and in the early and middle stages of the run home.
KINGSLAYER - tangled away.
COPPERHEAD ROSE - checked shortly after the start by a breaking runner.
SWEET MARY - checked shortly after the start by a breaking runner.
Race 10   SPRINGBANK HANDICAP TROT
REDWOOD INVASION - hung outwards when leading through the early stages and shifted up the track. Over-raced middle stages.
IDEAL INVASION - broke after 150 metres. Driver S O'Reilly reported the gelding had broken free of interference.
GET LUCKY - re-handicapped to 10 metres after winning at NZMTC on the 17th of May. Driver B Williamson advised the removable deafeners were not activated due to having the field covered.
ONE OVER DA SKYE - pre-race warmed. Broke near the 850 metres. Driver R May reported the mare had panicked when surrounded by other runners.
CLIFDEN CLOWERS - held up final bend.
WE'LL MEET AGAIN - stood on the mark losing several lengths.
