Race 1   THE ALEX MOBILE PACE
MOTU TOP MACH - shifted out early in the run home. Paced roughly under pressure passing the 100m. Junior driver C Smith shown the replay of the early stages of the run home and was warned to exercise greater control when activating gear.
Race 2   ALEXANDRA PARK FRENCH NIGHT MOBILE PACE
JUST WING IT - paced roughly for a few strides passing the 50m.
BETTOR TRENZ - broke passing the 800m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the geldings racing manners record.
M T POCKETS - improved 3 wide from inside the 1600m to race outside the leader passing the 1100m.
CHARLOTTE ROYAL - inconvenienced by a breaking runner passing the 800m.
ADIEU FLIRT - inconvenienced by a breaking runner passing the 800m.
IDEAL RULE -inconvenienced by a breaking runner passing the 800m.
Race 3   WISH 4 FISH CHARITY FUNCTION FRI 24 MAY MOBILE PACE
HAPPY PLACE - inclined to lay in rounding the bends
EUPHORIA -broke passing the 1400m losing ground.
TEXAS TIGER -back from the unruly position at dispatch. Lost ground near the 1350m when taking evasive action to avoid a breaking runner. Lay in badly and weakened from the 800m. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. A warning was placed on the colts racing manners record.
Race 4   WAIUKU COLLEGE NETBALL GOLD & SILVER HANDICAP TROT
ALL AMERICAN - side on when the barriers were released and stood on the mark badly interfering with C K SPUR and took no part. Declared a non runner under Rule 213 (1) (j) on the grounds the gelding was denied a fair start.
GALLEONS VICTORY - broke near the 1900m settling at the rear.
LOVELY BUNDY - weakened final turn.
C K SPUR - badly checked shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Declared a non runner under Rule 213 (1) (j)
MR GOOD AND EVIL - broke passing the 2000m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
CREDIT MASTER - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
ASH - trotted roughly over the final stages.
MAJESTIC ONE - weakened final turn.
The start was delayed when several runners became fractious when called forward onto the barriers. Following the event starter F Phelan was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly in relation to the start.
Race 5   HARAS des TROTTEURS NORTHERN TROTTING OAKS (MOBILE)
EVERMORE - broke in the score up and was back from position at dispatch. Weakened final stages.
MI ANNA - driver D McGowan admitted a charge under Rule 869 (2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than permitted under clause (b) of the 'Use of the Whip' regulations and was fined $300 by the JCA.
FORTUNATO - raced 3 wide early before being restrained to the rear.
SWISS MISS - raced 3 wide early before being restrained to the rear. Held up briefly passing the 200m. Driver M McKendry was questioned regarding his non activation of the deafeners, Mr McKendry stated after getting clear racing room approaching 150m the filly responded well to him encouraging it forward and he did not have time to activate the removable deafeners. Stewards accepted his explanation on this occasion.
MONKEY SELFIE - broke near the 1800m settling towards the rear.
Race 6   KIDZ KARTZ KUMEU HANDICAP TROT
SECRETOFTHESEA SMILE - underwent a veterinary examination after having raced last evening at Cambridge and was cleared to start.
PRINCE GEORGE - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
VATICAN HILL - broke at the start losing all chance.
AGOSTINI - lay in and broke passing the 250m losing its chance.
ASTOUND - delayed the start when rearing and falling to the track when called forward onto the barriers by the Starter. Underwent a veterinary examination and was cleared to start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Broke approaching the 250m losing its chance.
JANSSON - broke approaching the 2000m but soon settled.
PUMA ROAD - raced at the rear throughout and only finished on fairly into 7th place beaten 8.7 lengths. When questioned regarding performance Trainer / Driver S Reid advised that he was disappointed with the run and would be turning the gelding out for a spell.
Race 7   ALEXANDRA PARK MID-WINTER CHRISTMAS PARTY HANDICAP PACE
REVOLVER - broke briefly at the start.
ELDOLAR - lay in badly rounding the turn contacting numerous marker pegs. In particular in the final turn when under pressure. A warning was placed on the geldings racing manners.
THE NIGHT HAWK - paced roughly shortly after the start
Race 8   WOODLANDS STUD MILE HIGH MOBILE PACE
THE STUNNING NUN - held up final turn.
IN THE SHADOWS - driver T Herlihy reported that the mare threw its head when behind the mobile gate losing momentum and lacking gate speed. Settled at the rear on the running line, became trapped during the running 3 deep, obtained clear racing room approaching the 200m and then ran on strongly.
