Race Comments
Race 1 JIM HURRING MEMORIAL HANDICAP TROT | |
---|---|
DANKE - shifted outward to race in a half carting position briefly approaching the 1400 metres and then shifted fully to a two wide position passing the 1400 metres forcing another runner to race wider on the track. Trotted roughly for a few strides when being shifted wider on the track passing the 100 metres. Driver G Martin admitted a charge under Rule 869(4), (6)(b)(c) in that he breached the 'Push Out Rule' passing the 1400 metres when forcing CAITLIN'S SURPRISE, which was making a forward movement, to race wider on the track. The JCA imposed a $200 fine. | |
CAPELLI - trotted unevenly passing the 900 metres and broke briefly losing ground. Junior Driver B Butcher was cautioned for the manner in which he shifted ground outward when racing to the inside of CAITLIN'S SURPRISE and DANKE near the 100 metres. | |
