Race 1   BISHOPDALE & BUSH INN TABS AMATEUR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
HIGHLAND REIGN - Raced wide without cover throughout. Weakened final bend.
THAT ALEXANDER GUY - Raced very wide round the final bend.
DOUBLE RAINBOW - Broke in the score up losing ground inconveniencing RED TERROR. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Driver G Anderson advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners. Held up by weakening runner leaving the final bend.
RED TERROR - Inconvenienced prior to dispatch. Hung inwards racing into the first bend.
MR MIDNIGHT - Held up by weakening runner leaving the final bend.
MYBOYLOLLIEPOP - Broke exiting the final bend after becoming awkwardly placed and contacting the sulky wheel of BEAUDIENE GAMBLER. Amateur Driver P Cook admitted driving carelessly at this stage of the race and was fined the sum of 300.00 by the JCA.
RUSSIAN EXPRESS - Paced roughly in the score up and was slightly out of position at the start. Driver A Edge was fined the sum of $250.00 by the JCA for using his whip outside of clause (k) of the Use of The Whip Regulations.
Race 2   DELVIN CHALMERS MEMORIAL TROT
KEN'S DREAM - Swung sideways as the start was effected before breaking losing considerable ground.
HIDE N SPEAK - Broke briefly at the start. Trotted roughly before breaking passing the 450 metres.
TOMMY TIDDLER - Broke at the start. Broke again nearing the 1100 metres losing all chance.
MOTU MOONDANCER - Was a late scratching this morning after starting the previous day.
SWEET JEWELIETTE - Broke near the 250 metres. A final warning was placed on the mare's racing record.
TOLDYAH FRANKIE - Broke nearing the 1300 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding's race record.
SUPERFAST LAD - Held up in the middle stages of the run home after being hampered by a breaking runner.
MAJESTIC ROSE - Broke at the start.

SUPERSTAR LEGEND - Broke nearing the 2200 metres.
JIMS MAMA - The filly was out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver R Anderson.
LA BELLA VITA - Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
LILAC CHANGE - Raced keenly middle stages. Held up early stages of the run home.
MELODY POND - Held up early stages of the run home.
Race 4   CUSTOM HOME PRODUCTS/BUTCH GLOVER-BOB LOVETT MOBILE PACE
The score up was aborted due to GOOD GOD standing still in the middle of the track and refusing to move.
IRON WOMAN - Lost a shoe near the 400 metres.
AVEROSS SPITFIRE - Broke in the score up losing considerable ground. This horse will now be drawn unruly for its future mobile starts. Held up through the early stages of the run home.
GOOD GOD - Refused to move away with the field and was subsequently declared a late scratching by order of the Stewards. This gelding must trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on two occasions prior to resuming.
AVA CLASSY GAL - When spoken to regarding the performance of the mare trainer/driver A Beck was disappointed with the effort and was tiring from the 600 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
Race 5   CENTRE CITY NEW WORLD / DYNES TRANSPORT MOBILE PACE
SISTER'S DELIGHT - Shifted up the track before racing wide on the bend entering the home straight.
VERA STANHOPE - Raced wide early stages. Weakened rounding the final bend.
FOR THE KITTY - Driver M Howard was fined $500.00 for using his whip outside of Clause (b) of the Whip Regulations.
DIAMOND SHADOW - Weakened final bend.
NICOLE - Hung throughout.
KATIE DALY - Placed in restricted room with the easing of the pace passing the 1100 metres.
Race 6   LLENNOCO LTD/OCEANIA GOLD/SPEIGHTS BREWERIES MOBILE PACE
GOD ONLY KNOWS - Held up early stages of the run home.
JACKS N JAZZ - Held up for clear racing room through the early and middle stages of the run home.
THE KAIK - Ran in sharply over the last 100 metres. Junior driver K Butt was shown the film and warned to maintain a straight line in the home straight.
PAUL'S VERDICT - Raced wide early stages.
IDEOLOGIST - Hampered by a trailing runner in the score up. Shifted up the track passing the 200 metres blundering and breaking. Stewards ordered a post-race veterinary check which revealed no abnormalities.
SENORITA MARGARITA - Broke at 1800 metres and continued to break for a considerable distance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the mare's racing record.
LILAC STAR - Hung in the score up and was slightly out of position at dispatch. Hung in various stages throughout the home straight.
BOBBIE'S MEDLEY - Broke in the score up and was out of position at dispatch. Raced keenly through the early stages. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Trainer A Hoffman advised that the mare's next racing will be from standing starts.
Race 7   SKEVINGTON CONTRACTING / AIRPARK CANTERBURY TROT
EASY PICKINGS - Broke shortly after the start. Broke at the course crossing losing its chance.
AVEROSS DON - Over-raced final bend. Broke entering the home straight after making contact with the wheel of CLIFDEN CLOWERS. Driver J Young admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) where she was suspended by the JCA from the conclusion of racing on the 3rd March 2019 up to and including the 15th March 2019, (3 days).
TEHORO TEASE - Driver R Holmes activated the removable deafeners prior to the start due to the mare behaving unfavourably. Broke at the start. Broke again near the 1800 metres losing its chance.
MISSALYSSA - Broke near the 1800 metres with trainer/driver A Faulks advising that the horse appeared to be slipping on the grass surface.
CLIFDEN CLOWERS - Driver R Close reported that he sustained a punctured tyre at the start of the home straight.
SOME TIME - Broke at the start.
DAVEY MAC - Weakened entering the home straight.
RACHMANINOV - Trainer T Grant was fined the sum of $100 for presenting this gelding with the incorrect saddle cloth. Was inclined to lay inwards over the concluding stages.
Race 8   WAIK AUTO ENGINEERING/EAST OTAGO TRANSPORT MOBILE PACE
SHINDAL - Paced roughly shortly after the start and broke.
VINTAGE ROSE - Hampered by breaking runner passing the 2000 metres.
HOT STARFF - Unable to find clear racing room throughout the home straight. Driver S Ottley reported she did not activate the removable deafeners due to this.
FUTURA EASTON - Broke in the score up. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MY PATRONUS - Over-raced passing the 900 metres.
Race 9   GLAMOUR HOOVES RACING STABLES (WAIKOUAITI CUP) HANDICAP PACE
CAST A SHADOW - Began slowly. Over-raced passing the 600 metres.
NUI BA DEN - Over-raced through the middle stages.
SAGWITCH - Held up early stages in the run home and had to be steadied near the 100 metres before obtaining clear racing room.

SUNNY GLENIS - Over-raced in the early stages when being restrained to take cover.
ONE OVER DOVER - Broke at the start losing considerable ground.

ZSA ZOE - Broke exiting the final bend.
RED HOT ROCKET - Made contact with several track markers exiting the final bend. Driver G Smith was cautioned for contacting track markers.

WE'LL MEET AGAIN - Hung inwards at various stages throughout the race.

OMAR SHARIF - Inclined to lay out throughout the home straight.
FLAMBOYANT - Raced wide through the early stages.
LEADING THE WAY - Had to be restrained passing the 1400 metres when over-racing due to the easing of the pace.
VINNIE RULZ - Had to be restrained passing the 1400 metres when over-racing due to the easing of the pace.
BANK RAIDER - Over-raced passing the 1000 metres.
