Race 8 - GARRARDS PREMIER MARES CHAMPIONSHIP (MOBILE PACE)
Stable representative M Neilson advised Stewards on 6 February that ELLE MAC has recovered well from its fresh up run at Addington on 1 February adding that the mare pleased in a workout at Rangiora in preparation for a resumption at Addington on 15 February.

Trainer C Butt advised Stewards on 7 February that LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN has had chiropractic treatment since racing at Orari on 2 February.

Race 10 - DAVIS OGILVIE LTD HANDICAP TROT
Stable representative J Mounce advised Stewards on 7 February that CLIFDEN CLOWERS has recovered well from its disappointing effort at Rangiora on Wednesday . Mr Mounce further advised that the gelding had not settled well at the course and felt this had contributed to the performance adding that it will have a change of training programme in the lead up to its Methven engagement.
Stable representative B Orange advised Stewards on 10 February that in his opinion, OVER THE LOVE had not handled the grass track at Rangiora on 6 February and will be restricted to all weather tracks in the immediate future.

Race 1   DUNSANDEL COUNTRY CAFE & BAR/HORORATA TC COMMITTEE TROT
HALFWAY THERE - broke racing into the first bend.
RUBY SEDDON - broke near the 350 metres.
CALL ME TROUBLE - awkwardly placed close to the wheel of APPEARANCE when over-racing and broke racing into the first bend inconveniencing ABOUT LAST NIGHT and MIKEMARO.
MOTU MOONDANCER - hung inwards and broke on the first bend.
ABOUT LAST NIGHT - inconvenienced racing into the first bend. Broke near the 2000 metres.
OCTOBER TROUBLE - broke at the start.
AWESOME IMPEE - held up over the concluding stages.
APPEARANCE - driver J Smith reported the mare had cast a shoe during the running.
MIKEMARO - inconvenienced racing into the first bend.
HELGA'S MONARCH - removed from the unruly for future standing starts.

Race 2   PGG WRIGHTSON STANDARDBRED DIVISION MOBILE PACE
SUPERSTAR LEGEND - raced four wide passing the 1500 metres. Stewards investigated a perceived breach of the Push Out Rule however it was established that driver B Orange (OHOKA MATTY) had commenced his outward movement before SUPERSTAR LEGEND had reached his wheel so the matter was taken no further. Paced roughly on the final bend.
MIDAS TOUCH - raced wide around the first bend.
NADIRA FRANCO - raced wide in the early stages.
HASTA LA VISTA - broke as the start was effected. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record. Broke again near the 1400 metres with a warning placed on the racing record of the mare.
MARKHAM EYRE - hung inwards in the early stages. Over-raced middle stages.
KATIE DALY - over-raced in the middle stages.
JAFA KITTEN - back from the unruly position at the start. Over-raced in the middle stages.
Race 3   NUFARM NZ LTD PACE
TAUMALOLO - stood on the mark and then broke. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts. Broke again near the 2000 metres.
VICTOR TANGO - tangled away.
SHADOW DANCER - fractious prior to the start. Broke and shifted inwards at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Trainer/driver L McCormick advised he would be removing the tongue tie.
SOCIAL MEDIA - broke at the start.
MOTOWN BROMAC - broke at the start. Raced roughly near the 1500 metres due to an easing of the pace.
STRONG ENOUGH - paced roughly on the final bend.
CHRIS AYNSLEY - slow to begin. Inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 2000 metres.
NANS CHOICE - broke at the start.
IT'S ME - tangled away. Hampered near the 1500 metres due to an easing of the pace.
KOROMIKO EYRE - trainer B Hill was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after KOROMIKO EYRE was presented without the notified blinds.
Race 4   PHILIP WAREING LTD TROT
CLOVER LOU - trotted roughly in the home straight when tiring.
ESCARGO - broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Broke again near the 600 metres.
GIRLS LET LOOSE - broke approaching the 400 metres.
ALDEBARAN BONNY - trotted roughly late in the run home.
BK DAWN - broke racing into the first bend.
WANDERING STAR - raced wide in the early and middle stages. Tired from the 1000 metres. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding. Trainer A Lowe advised WANDERING STAR will be given a freshen up prior to racing again.
DIANA HARBOUR - broke near the 600 metres.
ONE OVER DA STARS - the connections advised the mare has been served and will be racing without shoes. Broke shortly after the start. Held up in the early and middle stages of the run home. Broke again with 200 metres to run. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
Race 5   DJ PEARCE GRAZING & AGISTMENT (JUNIOR DRIVERS) MOBILE PACE
SWAP OVER - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
BLACK ART - held up in the early stages of the run home.
FUN IN THE DARK - the required veterinary clearance was received. Stewards questioned junior drivers K Newman (FUN IN THE DARK), D Keast (FORTUNE TILLER) and K Butt (THE KAIK) in regards to an incident near the 150 metres when FORTUNE TILLER was checked and broke. It was established that despite the efforts of driver K Newman, FUN IN THE DARK had shied away from THE KAIK which was shifting ground, with FUN IN THE DARK then running inwards abruptly checking FORTUNE TILLER. After considering the evidence of the drivers and viewing the replays, no blame could be attributed to any one driver for the incident and Stewards took the matter no further.
FORTUNE TILLER - checked and broke near the 150 metres.
THE KAIK - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
SENORITA MARGARITA - over-raced in the middle stages. Hampered by a breaking runner at the 100 metres.
Race 6   NEVELE R FILLIES SERIES (HEAT 2) MOBILE PACE
KOTARE YOLANDE - hung inwards and then improved wide without cover from the 1100 metres.
REFINE - broke shortly after the start. Tired from the 500 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MOSSDALE ART - paced roughly near the 1100 metres.
SHECANDANCE - driver G Smith reported the release cord had broken when he attempted to activate the deafeners.
Trainer J McDermott advised Stewards on 14 February that REFINE has been treated for muscle tie-up since racing at Methven last Sunday.
Race 7   BUY KIWI MADE MOBILE PACE
LUCY DIAMOND - raced wide in the early stages. Weakened from the 500 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
DOC SEELSTER - shifted out near the 300 metres placing BUSH MAN in restricted room resulting in BUSH MAN locking stays with SOUNDS LIKA GEM which was hanging inwards. Driver R Houghton was shown the films and warned for shifting ground when insufficient room existed.
CANARDLY REMEMBER - held up early stages of the run home.
KATAMACH - raced wide in the early and middle stages.
ARTSTANDING - raced wide in the early and middle stages.
PAUL'S VERDICT - driver R Close advised the gelding had been striking the wheel discs during the running.
BUSH MAN - locked stays with SOUNDS LIKA GEM near the 300 metres when racing in restricted room after being shifted outwards by DOC SEELSTER.
MR ASIA - held up early stages of the run home.
SOUNDS LIKA GEM - raced wide early stages. Hung inwards near the 300 metres and locked stays with BUSH MAN which was racing in restricted room.
HOT STARFF - paced roughly on the final bend when over-racing and awkwardly placed close to the sulky of CANARDLY REMEMBER.
Race 8   GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND HORORATA CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
DI CAPRIO - broke at the start. Locked wheels momentarily with MOGUL at the 300 metres.
NUI BA DEN - hung inwards and struck track markers near the 1200 metres. Held up early and middle stages of the home straight.
JOHNNY EYRE - driver G Smith was spoken to advisedly for the manner in which he drove near the 300 metres when anticipating a run to the inside of MISS BIG which contributed to the mare being crowded.
MISS BIG - crowded and placed in restricted room near the 300 metres when tiring and awkwardly placed between JOHNNY EYRE and MOGUL. A post-race veterinary examination revealed some swelling in the flexor tendon area of both front fetlocks. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
GO DAVEY - hung outwards when utilising the passing lane near the 300 metres.
TUAPEKA TRICK - broke at the start. Locked stays with GORE BAY in the home straight losing momentum after both runners had shifted ground marginally.
FRANCO HAMPTON - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MOGUL - raced wide in the middle stages. Locked wheels briefly with DI CAPRIO near the 300 metres and when unlocking shifted inwards marginally crowding MISS BIG.
GORE BAY - broke at the start. Locked stays with TUAPEKA TRICK in the home straight losing momentum after both runners had shifted ground marginally.
KOTARE CULLEN - shifted inwards in the run home when under pressure.
CLASINA MARIA - held up throughout the home straight.
Race 9   LONZA NZ LTD PACE
MADAME FROST - slow through the early stages.
ULTIMATE ROCKER - held up in the early and middle stages of the home straight.
TOMBELINA - hung inwards and struck track markers with 1300 metres to run. Weakened over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the performance, trainer B Fahey advised today's race was a step up in grade from its previous performance and it was his intention to give the filly a brief freshen up prior to resuming.
GOTTA FUTURE - tangled away.
BRANTLEY - broke at the start.
Race 10   BAYER NZ LTD HANDICAP TROT
YOUNG STRANGER - broke at the 1050 metres. Again broke at the 800 metres and failed to settle.
DOLLY JONES - broke shortly after the start. Driver G Smith advised the mare had trotted roughly throughout and may not have backed up from its previous run.
TAKE AFTER ME - broke near the 900 metres and was eased inside the pylons losing its chance.
DON'T ROCK THE BOAT - broke after 200 metres.
ONE OVER DOVER - raced wide in the early stages.
ONE OVER DA SKYE - broke with 250 metres to run. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.

VINNIE RULZ - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
OVERARM - raced wide around the first bend.
THREE IDEAS - skied its head prior to the start and was out of position on the second row. Paced roughly and broke briefly racing into the first bend. Hung inwards and struck track markers with 1700 metres to run. Held up in the early stages of the run home.
