Race 1   CAVALIER TROTTING PRODUCTS - NORTH CANTERBURY TROTTING TROT
CABELLA NOIR - shifted out near the 650 metres and contacted the sulky wheel of FLYING MONKEY which was punctured. Driver R Close admitted driving carelessly in this incident and after submissions on penalty, the JCA imposed a fine of $250. Lay inwards throughout the home straight. Driver R Close was warned to ensure he makes a greater effort to leave the passing lane clear for trailing runners.
CLASSIC CALL - broke near the 250 metres.
GLOBAL FLIGHT - broke near the 300 metres.
OPAWA MAJESTIC - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
SIERRA GOLD - struck pylons on the final bend when over-racing and held up behind the weakening APPEARANCE.
FLYING MONKEY - driver A Lethaby reported she received a flat tyre near the 650 metres.
APPEARANCE - raced wide early stages. Weakened final bend.
SUNNY VALLEY - trotted roughly in the home straight.

PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM - broke racing into the first bend hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards confirmed the horse had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations in the early stages.
MY MATE BEN - began awkwardly. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
ONEDIN SMILER - broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hung inwards and struck pylons on the final bend.
IT'S A SHAWTHING - fractious prior to the start. Broke at the start and shifted up the track abruptly. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke near the 150 metres.
CLASSY KID - hung inwards and struck pylons on the final bend.

FRANKIE D - broke in the score up checking THE GO TO MAN with a false start being declared. Driver K Butt elected to remain in her barrier position for the re-start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Junior Driver K Butt was warned for allowing her horse to strike pylons leaving the final bend.
TOM RULE - over-raced through the early and middle stages. Locked wheels with CORENA LEA briefly near the 500 metres. Junior driver K Tomlinson (assisted by M P Jones) was shown the films and cautioned regarding the manner she drove when attempting to shift ground when she did not have the required clear advantage.
CHOICE LUSTRE - held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.
MR ASIA - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the run home.
THE DOORMAN - held up for clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the run home.
EXTRA GUINNESS - raced wide early and middle stages.

NATIVES LASTING LOVE - trotting roughly racing into the first bend.
MONARO MARO - the boring pole was removed prior to the start after warming up unfavourably. Broke near the 1300 metres. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
GRAND PRINCESS - trotted roughly throughout. Broke near the 250 metres.
TOPNOTCH TITAN - broke at the start losing its chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 5   CANTY BREEDERS (JOAN BELCHER LEGACY) FLAIR CANTY MOBILE PACE
PRESSED FOR TIME - shifted out near the 1050 metres causing KATCHALIGHT to race wider on the track. Driver M Hurrell admitted a breach of the Push Out Rule and after submissions on penalty, the JCA imposed a fine of $200.
THE OPTIMIST - broke as the start was effected losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Broke briefly near the 750 metres. Weakened final bend.
KATCHALIGHT - raced wide from the 1100 metres and was shifted to a four wide position passing the 1050 metres. Weakened from the 200 metres.
THE DIVA - raced wide early stages. Paced roughly rounding the final bend. Sustained a superficial cut to the right hind fetlock which was bandaged by the veterinarian following the race.
BETTOR LADY - raced wide early stages. Paced roughly racing over the crossing near the 1600 metres when wide on the track. Held up early stages of the run home.
KACIE CULLEN - locked wheels briefly with LA BELLA VITA near the 600 metres.
LA BELLA VITA - paced roughly when being restrained in the early stages when awkwardly placed behind the sulky of CANSTAR. Locked wheels briefly with KACIE CULLEN near the 600 metres.
AMORE LANCOME - when questioned regarding the performance, trainer/driver B Butt advised the filly had become poorly positioned further back in the field than anticipated and was unsuited by the tempo of the race however he had not been disappointed with the effort.
Race 6   HSW ACCOUNTANTS - PROMED EDGEWARE DOCTORS MOBILE PACE
VELOCETTE - held up for clear racing room early in the run home.
DONEGAL CHOKINSCREEK - over-raced in the early stages. Lay inwards in the early stages of the run home.
SAGINAW - the all clear was delayed when driver R Cameron advised he wished to view the films of the start however after doing so was satisfied he had received a fair start and placings were duly authorised. Raced wide from the 1000 metres. Paced roughly in the run home and was not able to be driven out with any vigour.
TAROONA BROMAC - raced wide early stages.
PILCH - driver T Williams was warned for contacting track markers on the final bend.
BELLA ROZA - broke briefly in the score up. Driver R Close reported that the mare had cast both hind shoes during the race.
FRANCO NIVEN - raced keenly and hung outwards and then broke near the 600 metres checking a trailing runner.
BEEN TO JENNY'S - raced wide early stages. Checked near the 600 metres.
AVEROSS SPITFIRE - over-raced and became awkwardly placed behind VELOCETTE and broke near the 900 metres losing all chance.
VERA STANHOPE - broke near the 350 metres.
AWESOME OLLIE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 900 metres.
Race 7   CLARKVILLE STOCKFEEDS - ZILCO NZ LTD TROT
RUTH CELESTE PETITE - broke racing into the first bend.
AVEROSS DON - over-raced when held up on the final bend behind the weakening SONEY BEATT striking its wheel then raced inside the pylons leaving the final bend. Stewards lodged a protest against 5th placing under Rule 869(7B) alleging the gelding had gained an advantage when racing inside the pylons prior to the passing lane. The connections did not contest the protest and AVEROSS DON was disqualified by the JCA. Driver J Young admitted an associated charge under Rule 869(7A)(b) and the JCA imposed a fine of $200.
SPEEDY COMMAND - held up for clear racing room over the concluding stages.
ESCARGO - broke shortly after the start.
SMUDGEE - broke after 100 metres.
SONEY BEATT - weakened final bend and sustained a flat tyre.
SOME TIME - the boring pole was removed prior to the start after warming up unfavourably. Slow to begin and then hampered by a breaking runner. Held up early stages of the run home.
Stable representative A Tomlinson advised Stewards on 23 February that SONEY BEATT has had its hocks and stifles injected since last racing.
Race 8   GULLIVER & TYLER LTD (RANGIORA) MOBILE PACE
DOC SEELSTER - struck pylons final bend. Driver R Houghton was issued with a warning.
FRANKIE JONES - trainer T Yesberg was issued a $200 Minor Infringement Notice after stable runners FRANKIE JONES and BUSH MAN were late being presented onto the track. When questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer T Yesberg advised the horse had received a favourable draw and a good run today and had benefited from changes made to its training regime.
CANARDLY REMEMBER - raced wide early stages. Held up early stages of the run home.
HES FAST AND FURIOUS - raced wide from the 1100 metres.
SMOKE N REACTOR - raced wide from near the 700 metres. When questioned regarding the performance, driver S Ottley was unable to offer any explanation and advised she was disappointed with the effort.
JULIE JOHNSTON - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
BUSH MAN - over-raced in the early stages. Lay inwards in the run home.
Race 9   RANGIORA EQUINE SERVICES AMBERLEY CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
STOMPEM - struck pylons when weakening on the final bend. Driver M Anderson was issued with a warning.
JOHNNY EYRE - weakened final bend.
GO DAVEY - broke at the start.
DADNDAVE - held up early stages of the run home.
BACK IN BLACK - broke at the start. Will now be drawn unruly for standing starts at the request of the connections.
GORE BAY - tangled away. Raced wide early stages.
ALTA MAESTRO - driver J Dunn advised the deafeners were not activated due to having the field covered.
MY WEE MAN - tangled away. Broke briefly near the 1500 metres after a slight easing of the pace. Raced roughly when weakening on the final bend.
CLASINA MARIA - held up early stages of the run home.
Race 10   DAVIS OGILVIE LTD HANDICAP TROT
CLIFDEN CLOWERS - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance, driver J Morrison advised he was disappointed with the gelding's effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.
SIOUX PRINCESS - broke at the start. Broke again on several occasions thereafter. Stood down pending a satisfactory trial.
LOVEY DOVEY MOMENT - reared prior to the start. Raced wide early and middle stages. Trotted roughly near the 1500 metres.
RED HOT ROCKET - slow to begin losing considerable ground. When questioned regarding the performance, trainer/driver G Smith advised the gelding had reacted unfavourably to a recent gear change of a rein pricker being added and he will review the gelding's gear prior to racing next.
ZSA ZOE - weakened final bend. Junior driver S Tomlinson reported she received a flat tyre near the 850 metres.
WE'LL MEET AGAIN - held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.
DIDJABRINGTHEBEERS - became awkwardly placed and struck the wheel of ZSA ZOE near the 850 metres after an easing of the pace.
OVER THE LOVE - raced wide from the 700 metres and weakened from the 300 metres. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the gelding with the connections in the coming days.
Stable representative J Mounce advised Stewards on 7 February that CLIFDEN CLOWERS has recovered well from its disappointing effort at Rangiora on Wednesday . Mr Mounce further advised that the gelding had not settled well at the course and felt this had contributed to the performance adding that it will have a change of training programme in the lead up to its Methven engagement.
Stable representative B Orange advised Stewards on 10 February that in his opinion, OVER THE LOVE had not handled the grass track at Rangiora on 6 February and will be restricted to all weather tracks in the immediate future.
Race 11   STEVIE GOLDING REAL ESTATE THANKS RACING CLIENTS HCP PACE
ABIENTO - weakened final bend.
SWEENEY TODD - held up by weakening runner final bend.
LIVING LEGEND - late scratching on veterinary advice at 1.55pm after being injured en route to the course. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
ONEDIN REIGN - broke at the start and shifted outwards checking BOBBY T and lost its chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.

STICK MAN - driver B Orange reported he received a flat tyre with 250 metres to run.
YOUNG CONQUEROR - fractious prior to the start and could not take up its correct position. A final warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Held up by a weakening runner final bend.
CHILLER BAY - raced keenly throughout. Shifted out on the final bend and struck the wheel of STICK MAN which punctured. Hung inwards in the home straight. ARTICULIGHT - paced roughly late in the run home and broke shortly after the finish of the race.
JONTY JAMES - paced roughly and broke near the 500 metres.
