Race 6 - HYDROFLOW HANDICAP PACE
Co-Trainer J Dickie advised Stewards on 11 April that IDEAL STAR has worked well this week in preparation for a resumption at Alexandra Park on Friday adding that the gelding will race without hopple shorteners after racing roughly at stages last Friday.

Race 1   KEITH CHITTENDEN MEMORIAL HANDICAP TROT
SHONA MARY - broke at the start and settled at the rear.
MACKALI - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Tired from the 800 metres. This mare was subsequently stood down for standing start events until it trials satisfactorily.
COMMANDO ONE - weakened from the 600 metres.
GRENADO - raced in restricted room approaching the 800 metres and had to be eased. Driver J Abernethy was spoken to advisedly regarding the manner in which he drove in this incident. Broke for several strides near the 650 metres.
NEED LUCK - lay out under pressure throughout the run home.
Race 2   MATT & MARION HICKEY MOBILE PACE
PORT DELIGHT - commenced to weaken from the 600 metres.
SCELTA UNO - inconvenienced passing the 400 metres by a breaking runner.
GEOFF'S LEGACY - raced three wide early. Inconvenienced near the 350 metres by a breaking runner and then weakened.
RED RIVER DASH - raced three wide from the 1100 metres.
THE KAPITI EXPRESS - commenced to over-race near the 1500 metres before being taken forward three wide. Shifted out marginally early in the run home.
AMARO - paced roughly on the final turn and throughout the run home.
JACKHAMMER JOE - raced over a marker peg near the 140 metres when improving in the passing lane. Stewards were satisfied that this runner had not gained any unfair advantage with no further action being deemed necessary.
BETTOR TRENZ - raced three wide from the 1000 metres. Broke passing the 400 metres losing its chance.
Race 3   DES & MARION WEBB MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared after the shadow roll on MILNER came adrift in the initial stages of the score up. This gear was inspected with Trainer S Doody deemed not to be at fault.
MILNER - broke near the 1850 metres when trailing the leader and was retired from the event.
MHAI UPTOWN GIRL - inconvenienced near the 1800 metres. Paced roughly passing the 400 metres and then broke for several strides near the 300 metres.
SARABI - raced three wide early.
XMAS BAY - inconvenienced near the 1800 metres.
MUSTANG GT - inconvenienced and broke passing the 1800 metres and dislodged its boring pole while in a gallop before being retired from the event.
SAUCHIEHALL - broke in the initial stages of the score up and was back from position at dispatch. Broke passing the 700 metres losing its chance.
Race 4   CARTOWN MOBILE PACE
SHEIKH YABOOTY - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground before catching the field near the 900 metres. Weakened final turn.
GOTTA MOMENT - over-raced down the back straight the final time when trailing the leader.
MADDISONS DESIRE - over-raced middle stages when towards the rear.
DANA DAWN - locked sulky stays briefly passing the 500 metres.
BLACK ART - locked sulky stays briefly passing the 500 metres.
Race 5   DOUG, WENDY & ERIN GALE MOBILE PACE
LINCOLN MOMENT - pulled hard in the score up.
ANNA BARCLAY - it was established that the leader ANNA BARCLAY had raced well away from the marker line after improving to lead during the middle stages along with the trailing runners. Junior Driver D Ferguson was questioned and confirmed that this had been intentional given the track conditions prevailing on the marker line.
APOCALYPSE - paced roughly near the 1400 metres when trailing the leader inconveniencing a trailing runner. Obtained an inside run passing the 300 metres.
THE NIGHT HAWK - inconvenienced briefly near the 1400 metres.
Race 6   PAUL CLARIDGE ELECTRICAL MOBILE PACE
ARCANO - weakened from the 500 metres.
RANGI RANGDU - paced roughly approaching the 250 metres.
OUR WICKLOW - broke approaching the 600 metres inconveniencing trailing runners.
ITSOKBEINGBETTER - slow to score up.
Race 7   REHAB PHYSIO CENTRE MOBILE PACE
T C BUSINESS - broke in the middle stages of the score up inconveniencing a second row runner and was retired from the event.
J BEE - lay in rounding the turns.
SCELTA UNO - a late scratching at 5.55 pm after having started in Race 2.
ARTY PHARTY - inconvenienced middle stages of the score up but was in position prior to dispatch. Weakened final stages.
BETSTARS BLUE JEAN - raced erratically and veered up the track near the 400 metres losing ground. When questioned Driver B Orange reported this incident was due to the activation of the sliding blinds. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
Race 8   SPEIGHTS ALE HOUSE MOBILE PACE
GLADAMARE - inclined to run out throughout when in the lead and lay out under pressure during the run home.
CHANGED MY MIND - paced roughly in the score up. Over-raced middle stages when outside the leader.
PEKESON - approval was given for a shadow roll to be fitted after the gelding shied at puddles on the track during its preliminary.
Race 9   NEXT MEETING APRIL 30TH/MAY 2ND MOBILE PACE
CHALBERG - broke as the start was declared and settled at the rear.
AWESOME - broke near the 1700 metres and then again near the 1500 metres losing its chance.
