Race 1   GARRARDS SIRES STAKES SERIES NO.36 (HEAT 1) MOBILE PACE
COPPERFIELD - broke in the score up and shifted outwards checking outside runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ONE CHANGE - checked in the score up but was able to regain its rightful position at the start.
VIRGIL - checked in the score up and as a result was a length out of position at the start. Stewards lodged a Request for a Ruling with the JCA to determine whether VIRGIL had been denied a fair start. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from driver S Ottley and Stewards, the JCA declared the horse a starter.
ABOVE N BEYOND - held up throughout the run home. Driver J Dunn advised the deafeners were not activated in consequence.
THE POWER OF PRAYER - over-raced and hung outwards rounding the first bend.
FLYING EVEN BETTOR - raced greenly when being taken forward to lead near the 1400 metres.
Race 2   COCA-COLA AMATIL MOBILE TROT
PRINCE TEKA - hung inwards final bend and struck track markers. Driver K Cameron will be spoken to regarding this in the coming days.
SPEEDY COMMAND - over-raced through the middle stages.
MIKEMARO - broke in the score up hampering second line runners with a false start being declared. Driver B Orange elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the re-start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Held up passing the 450 metres. Broke passing the 150 metres.
ALI LINDENNY - raced wide early stages. Over-raced through the middle stages. Driver M Anderson advised the sliding blinds were not activated due to the mare over-racing.
MICHELLE - late scratching on veterinary advice at 12.45pm. A veterinary clearance is required prior to the mare resuming.
UNIQUE MARSHALL - had to be steadied near the 900 metres due to an easing of the pace.
WHATASISTA - had to be steadied near the 900 metres due to an easing of the pace. Hung outwards leaving the final bend. Trotted roughly in the home straight.
UNIQUE ROSE - raced wide early stages. Held up passing the 450 metres.
YOU REALLY GOT ME - raced wide early and middle stages. Trotted roughly in the home straight.
DOFF YOUR CAP - gave ground passing the 450 metres.

Race 3   HRS CONSTRUCTION MOBILE PACE
DELIGHTFUL MAJOR - when spoken to regarding the colt's performance, driver C Thornley advised the horse had travelled lethargically throughout. Trainer M House advised he was very disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the horse in the coming days.
SANTANNA MACH - held up throughout the final straight.
STOMPEM - had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room over the final stages.
NANDOLO - raced wide in the early stages until being taken forward to race outside the leader near the 1250 metres.
SMOKIN BY - raced wide early and middle stages.
CAST NO SHADOW - raced wide from the 1300 metres.
SAMSKARA - over-raced middle stages. Held up for clear racing room late in the run home.
Trainer M House advised Stewards on 28 March that DELIGHTFUL MAJOR has been treated for dehydration since racing at Addington last week and will continue with its current preparation.
Race 4   NEVELE R FILLIES SERIES NO.41 (HEAT 4) MOBILE PACE
KENDRA - held up early stages of the run home.
UPTOWN LADY - held up early stages of the run home.
MOSSDALE ART - over-raced middle stages. Hung inwards in the early stages of the home straight. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver B Hope reported the filly had proved difficult to steer throughout and he would be recommending gear changes prior to resuming.
WAINUI CREEK - when spoken to regarding the performance, driver R May explained that the filly had raced lethargically throughout and he had been very disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.
Trainer R Aubrey advised Stewards on 28 March that WAINUI CREEK had blood tests taken following its performance at Addington last week with these showing no abnormalities. Mr Aubrey also stated that the filly was found to be in season the day after the races adding that she has performed poorly in that condition in the past.
Race 5   LAMB & HAYWARD 4 & 5YO TROTTING CHAMPIONSHIP (HCP TROT)
ONE OVER DA STARS - began awkwardly. Broke when leading near the 700 metres.
VALLORIA - broke at the start.
MAJESTIC HURRICANE - broke at the start then shifted inwards abruptly checking another runner with a warning placed on the gelding's barrier record.
DIDJABRINGTHEBEERS - broke at the start.
WINTERFELL - checked and broke after 50 metres losing ground. Hampered and had to be steadied near the 1000 metres.
MAJESTIC MAN - driver B Williamson was questioned regarding the manner he drove for some distance passing the 1100 metres when appearing to trail a sulky wheel. After considering his explanation and that of M Purdon (WINTERFELL) and C Butt (THEODOSIA) Mr Williamson was issued with a charge alleging he had half carted. Mr Williamson defended the charge however the JCA found the breach proved and imposed a $400 fine.
SUNDEES SON - trotted roughly in the home straight before breaking passing the 150 metres.
Race 6   VERO FLYING STAKES (MOBILE PACE)
HEISENBERG - lay inwards on the final bend and made contact with several track markers. Briefly placed in restricted room leaving the final bend.
ULTIMATE SNIPER - broke shortly after the start refusing to settle for a considerable distance and losing its chance. A warning was placed on the colt's barrier record. When spoken to neither driver T Williams or co-trainer M Purdon were able to offer any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.
DIEGO - out of position at the start. Driver J Cox was issued with a warning. Checked by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Checked again racing into the first bend. Lay inwards and then broke near the 500 metres.
DADNDAVE - checked racing into the first bend.
JESSE DUKE - checked racing into the first bend.
CHILLER BAY - checked racing into the first bend.
MEMPHIS TENNESSEE - out of position at the start. Driver T Chmiel was issued with a warning. Lay inwards leaving the final bend briefly placing inside runner in restricted room.
Co-Trainer M Purdon advised Stewards on 28 March that ULTIMATE SNIPER had its fetlocks and hocks injected following its performance at Addington last week.
Race 7   IRT HARNESS JEWELS HOSPITALITY PACKAGES ON SALE MOBILE TROT
RAIN MIST AND MUSCLE - broke near the 1800 metres.
ONE MAJIC KENNY - broke in the score up and lost considerable ground.
CHINSKI - broke late in the score up losing considerable ground.
MUSCLE MOUNTAIN - driver B Hope advised the deafeners were not activated on the winner.
RASTUSBURN - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
ULTIMATE STRIDE - slow to leave the pre-race circle and was out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver B Williamson.
Race 8   STORER MOTORS NEW ZEALAND TROTTING OAKS (MOBILE TROT)
SHE'S SO COOL - out of position at the start and then trotted roughly in the early stages. Broke passing the 550 metres.
SHES LIKE THE WIND - broke in the score up checking a runner on the second line with a false start being declared. Driver B Williamson elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the re-start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Again broke at the re-start losing its chance. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
MONARO MARO - broke shortly after the re-start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
B K DOVER - raced fiercely when leading in the early stages and hung outwards causing driver S Ottley considerable difficulty in restraining to surrender the lead. Weakened approaching the 600 metres before breaking.
CAPELLI - pre-race warmed.
MAJESTIC CHEVRON - trotted roughly in the home straight.
Race 9   TELTRAC COMMUNICATIONS LTD FREE-FOR-ALL (MOBILE PACE)
SHERIFF - raced wide early stages. Placed in restricted room late in the run home and had to be steadied.
A G'S WHITE SOCKS - lay inwards under pressure throughout the home straight and had to be corrected by driver R May near the 50 metres.
ALTA ORLANDO - over-raced rounding the first bend when being restrained to obtain cover.
FUNATTHEBEACH - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver T Williams.
Race 10   MCMILLAN EQUINE FEEDS MOBILE PACE
PRESSED FOR TIME - hung inwards leaving the final bend and struck a pylon.
MISS PINOCCHIO - over-raced through the middle stages and then passing the 1000 metres commenced to race fiercely with the mare choking down and falling to the track near the 700 metres. Driver G Smith was unharmed in this incident. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the mare had sustained an abrasion to the left eyelid and had also bled. Stood down for the mandatory 30 days with the connections advised they must produce a Veterinary clearance prior to the horse trialing satisfactorily on one occasion.
SWEET LORESS - hung inwards on the final bend.
SWEET MARY - hung inwards in the early stages causing driver M Williamson some difficulty.
SAILS - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Checked by a fallen runner passing the 700 metres and was retired from the race.
Race 11   VISIT CHRISTCHURCH CASINO ON SATURDAY HANDICAP TROT
TAKE AFTER ME - broke at the start. Broke again racing into the first bend losing all chance.
CLIFDEN CLOWERS - trotted roughly and lost ground near the 900 metres. Weakened from the 500 metres.
SIOUX PRINCESS - trotted roughly passing the 1000 metres and lost ground.
ARRAN CHIEF - weakened final bend.
MISSANDEI - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
AMARETTO SUN - broke at the start.
Race 12   VISIT @bluestarchch TO WIN 1K & NIGHT AT ADDINGTON MOB PACE
CINDY BROMAC - broke in the score up and lost considerable ground. Co-trainer G Hope advised that he would be adding hopple shorteners to the mare prior to resuming. Stood down pending a satisfactory mobile trial.
B MAC C - hung inwards final bend and struck pylons. Driver J Cox was issued with a warning.
LETTERKENNY BOY - hung inwards throughout the run home.
THE DUDE - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
IMMORTAL CHANGE - broke prior to dispatch and lost ground with a warning placed on the barrier record of the mare. Inconvenienced racing into the first bend having to shift ground. Weakened final bend.
ZINNY MACH - over-raced through the middle stages. Paced roughly rounding the final bend.
WARLOCH - held up for clear racing room in the home straight. Driver J Curtin reported he did not activate the deafeners in consequence.
IDEOLOGIST - held up leaving the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
ADAM PATRON - held up on the final bend.
