Race 1   LAMB DRIVE/CATTLE GRAZIERS TROT
GLOBAL FLIGHT - broke passing the 1800 metres. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
ROBO TROUBLE - raced wide in the early stages.
STAR DUDE - broke near the 600 metres.
BONNIES DELIGHT - broke at the start.
SOUTH PARK - broke near the 850 metres. Again broke late in the run home.
SMOKIN BANDAR - switched into a pace shortly after the start and had to be returned to its correct gait, losing its chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MAJESTIC ROSE - slow to begin. Weakened on the final bend.

DELIGHT - lay outwards near the 250 metres placing CALICO HILL in restricted room.
CALICO HILL - raced in restricted room near the 250 metres.

TOBY O'GARA - out of position at the dispatch despite the efforts of driver S Walkinshaw.
MAGNATE MARA - out of position at the dispatch when hanging inwards. Raced wide in the early stages when over-racing, before being taken forward to the parked position near the 1500 metres. Hung inwards on several occasions during the running.
KANSAS CITY JIM - out of position at the dispatch. Held up rounding the final bend.
VINTAGE ROSE - held up rounding the final bend.
MAN I'M GOOD - held up rounding the final bend and early in the run home.
Race 4   NEVILLE CRONIN MEMORIAL TROT
CHRISTMAS BABE - raced in restricted room entering the first bend.
OUR FOXY LADY - broke at the start.
LADY ZARA - hung inwards entering the first bend placing an inside runner in restricted room. Held up rounding the final bend.
LARCH - broke at the start.
TOLKIEN - broke near the 100 metres.
NOTTINGHAM K TWO - trotted roughly when being shifted wider on the track entering the home straight.
WHATWILLBEEWILLBEE - broke at the start.
CHINESE WHISPER - driver N Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners applied to the gelding due to having the field covered.
THUNDER BUDDY - broke at the start. A final warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ROBBIE ROYALE - trotted roughly through the early stages and broke briefly negotiating the first bend.
Race 5   NIP CROOKS MEMORIAL PACE
LIFEOFBRIAN - tangled away. Hampered near the 1000 metres when there was an easing of the pace.
FINN THE BELLIGERENT - broke near the 900 metres.
CLASSY KID - held up rounding the final bend. Weakened over the concluding stages.
ALTIMETER - paced roughly in the early stages. Hampered near the 1000 metres when becoming awkwardly placed on the wheel of the runner in front when there was an easing of the pace.
LUVTAHAVTIME - held up rounding the final bend and early in the run home.
IRON WOMAN - held up rounding the final bend. Hampered near the 1000 metres when there was an easing of the pace.
AURELIA COTTA - weakened exiting the final bend, finishing a distance from the winner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be showing signs of a possible respiratory infection. Trainer B Gray advised he would be giving AURELIA COTTA a brief respite prior to racing next.
LOCK IT IN EDDIE - broke at the start losing its chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
DELIGHT N GOLD had to be steadied near the 1000 metres when placed in restricted room.
PHIL'S LAST CHANCE - driver B Williamson was cautioned for the manner he shifted ground near the 1000 metres.
Race 6   PGG WRIGHTSON REAL ESTATE CROMWELL HANDICAP PACE
ALLANDALE - broke at the start. Held up rounding the final bend and early in the run home.
BOUND TO BE BETTOR - broke passing the 200 metres.
KAGEE VC - broke at the start. Held up early in the run home.
DALLAS GRIMES - over-raced in the middle stages.
HUNTAWAY - a sulky tyre deflated during the running.
JIMMY RICHTER - tangled away. Held up early in the run home.
PRINCE ABBEY - broke shortly after the start, then stumbled and fell to the track briefly, dislodging its crupper and being pulled up immediately by driver P Hunter. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the gelding to have suffered lacerations to the left fore knee and near side hock along with abrasions to its nose/muzzle for which it will be treated. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to racing next.
Race 7   ALABAR NZ KINDERGARTEN STAKES (MOBILE PACE)
TARGARYEN - weakened over the concluding stages.
SOCIAL CLUB - paced roughly in the early stages. Weakened from the 500 metres.
FLYING EVEN BETTOR - raced wide in the early stages.
Race 8   ASTRA STU & JEAN MOBILE PACE
STINGRAY TARA - lead through the early stages, before obtaining a trail near the 1500 metres, shifted outwards to race parked from the 1200 metres and weakened on the final bend. Stewards questioned Driver P Hunter regarding the tactics he adopted through the middle stages when shifting away from the trail to race in the parked position. Mr Hunter explained he had been instructed to drive STINGRAY TARA with confidence today due to the gelding having no luck at its previous start however was at a loss to explain the poor performance. Mr Hunters explanation was noted and Stewards will follow up the recovery with trainer H Hunter in the coming days.
LOVE THE BLUES - placed in restricted room passing the 1100 metres when awkwardly positioned between runners. Driver R Swain defended a charge pursuant to Rule 867 in that he drove with his foot removed from the sulky footrest for a prolonged period. After viewing the films and hearing evidence tendered by the Stewards and Mr Swain the JCA found the charge proved and imposed a fine of $75.
THISLADYROCKS - weakened from the 400 metres. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Williamson advised the race had been run at a tempo which exceeded the mares capabilities and as such he was not overly disappointed with the effort.
MISS V C - paced roughly in the score-up.
MIGHTY GEORGE - raced greenly and shifted up the track near the 1100 metres placing outside runner in restricted room. Raced lethargically from the 1500 metres and weakened from the 1000 metres. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Walkinshaw could offer no tangible explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
DREAMINSOVER - hampered by a tiring runner near the 1000 metres.
OHOKA ACHILLES - trainer R Todd was charged a $25 Colour Fee.
HAZER - hung outwards in the score-up. Raced three-wide in the early and middle stages.
PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM - hung in the score-up and was slightly out of position at the dispatch.
Trainer H Hunter advised Stewards on 23 March that STINGRAY TARA would be sent for a spell.
Race 9   MLT/THREE RIVERS HOTEL WYNDHAM CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
TIZIANO - broke at the start.
VINTAGE CHEDDAR - broke at the start.
SANTANNA'S ROCKET - broke at the start.
BETTOR ENFORCE - driver A Beck was warned for the manner he drove when shifting ground near the 200 metres.
PLEASE SHUDDUP - broke at the start.
Race 10   THE ROADING COMPANY MOBILE PACE
SHOP GIRL - broke in the score-up and was out of position at the dispatch. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile engagements. Hampered and broke near the 300 metres. Trainer C Barron advised he would no longer be persevering with the filly as a racing proposition from his stable.
BLACK OPS - raced greenly on several occasions during the running when leading. Hung outwards near the 350 metres and became awkwardly placed close to the wheel of FRANCO HUNTINGTON which had to be steadied, with SHOP GIRL also being hampered and breaking briefly in consequence.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - had to be steadied near the 350 metres.
TARTAN TRILOGY - hampered in the score-up and was out of position at the dispatch.
JINGLES BROMAC - raced wide in the early stages.
Race 11   KYLEMORE PERENDALES/KILLARA CHEVIOTS MOBILE PACE
WHATA RAZZLE DAZZLE - had to be steadied when placed in restricted room near the 150 metres and raced greenly thereafter.
DONEGAL ART CHOKIN - held up through the early and middle stages of the run home with driver R May advising he did not activate the removable hood applied to the filly due to this.
MELINA LOWE- was inclined to hang inwards over the concluding stages and had to be corrected.
THE CROUPIER - held up through the early and middle stages of the run home with junior driver E Barron advising she did not activate the removable deafeners applied to the gelding due to this.
