Race 5 - AUCKLAND CO-OP TAXIS 300-3000 CITY OF AUCKLAND FFA MOB PACE
Trainer S Telfer advised Stewards on 14 March that blood tests taken from NO DOCTOR NEEDED following its disappointing performance at Alexandra Park on 8 March revealed no abnormalities. Mr Telfer added that the gelding had cross-fired during the race and some shoeing changes would be made before its next engagement.

Race 1   NZ SIRES STAKES/ROSSLANDS 3YO FILLIES GRADUETTE (MOB PACE)
HEAVEN LEE - inclined to lay out rounding the final bend.
THE STUNNING NUN - shifted wider on the track during the run home when under pressure.
Race 2   NZ SIRES STAKES/ROSSLANDS 3YO C&G GRADUATE (MOB PACE)
ROCKNROLL ROD - raced on one rein rounding the bend passing the 900 metres.
ACCELERE - raced keenly in the middle stages on the running line. Held up rounding the final turn. Driver P Ferguson advised that he was unable to activate the removable deafeners.
WET MY WHISTLE - lost contact with the field inside the final 600 metres finishing well back. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. The connections advised they would have further tests carried out and advise Stewards in the coming days.
Trainer R Dunn advised Stewards on 22 March that WET MY WHISTLE has been treated for a virus since racing at Alexandra Park on 15 March.
Race 3   MEXICAN NIGHT AT THE PARK MARCH 22 HANDICAP TROT
CELTIC THUNDER - trotted very unevenly over the early stages of the race. Trotted unevenly again rounding the final turn.
PUMA ROAD - had to be eased approaching the 100 metres in order to shift ground to find clear racing room.
MAJESTIC MOMENT - shifted out under pressure rounding the home bend momentarily inconveniencing a wider runner.
KRATOS - over raced middle stages.
OUR PETITE LADY - broke losing its chance approaching the 150 metres.
LOVELY BUNDY - inclined to lay in rounding the bends.
Race 4   KIM BLAKEMORE/TYLA HACKETT BEST PRESENTED STRAPPER MOB PACE
PEGASUS KOMMANDER - held up rounding the final turn and the early stages of the run home.
BLARNEY BABE - held up rounding the final turn and the early stages of the run home.
AFORTUNADO - broke in the score up and was at least 20 metres out of position at the start. The gelding was stood down from mobile starts until such time that it trials satisfactorily.
Race 5   PGG WRIGHTSON MOBILE PACE
SPARE CHANGE - caught three wide early before being restrained to the rear. Improved three wide again inside the 1100 metres and was inconvenienced by a breaking runner passing the 900 metres.
THE BLUE BEAT - improved forward three wide at the 1100 metres and broke when challenging for the lead passing the 950 metres losing ground settling four wide. Raced erratically passing the 500 metres and weakened out. A warning was placed on the filly's racing manners record.
M T POCKETS - raced three wide before being improved to the lead approaching the 1500 metres.
TRIOLET - held up rounding the final turn and the early stages of the run home.
Race 6   THAI AIRWAYS HANDICAP PACE
FLEETING GRIN - lay in contacting and dislodging a track marker rounding the final bend.
PARKER - Trainer S Telfer was charged a $25.00 colour fee. Latched onto the bit when in the lead and began to pull fiercely from inside the 1400 metres.
MR KIWI - broke at the start.
AHA REACTION - broke at the start. Contested a position with RECCO LOVER inside the 2400 metres and paced unevenly for a couple of strides.
ZEALAND STAR - broke badly at the start checking another runner before losing considerable ground and its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's standing start manners.
RECCO LOVER - badly inconvenienced by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Contested a position with AHA REACTION inside the 2400 metres and paced unevenly for a couple of strides.
Race 7   SMITH & PARTNERS MOBILE PACE
ROMY FRANCO - weakened badly from inside the final 600 metres finishing well back. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning on the mare's racing performance record.
KOLOVOS - attempted to improve outward to the inside of SOLE AMBITION inside the final 300 metres and the early stages of the run home but was unable to secure clear racing room. Paced roughly approaching the 100 metres when hard up on the back of ARTY PHARTY.
HAPPY PLACE - held up rounding the final turn and failed to secure clear racing room throughout the run home. Driver J Stormont advised that he did not activate the gear.
Race 8   AMERICAN NIGHT AT THE PARK APRIL 26 MOBILE PACE
LADY SANTANNA - Driver R Fensom shifted his mare wider on the track passing the 1100 metres to allow sufficient room for XMAS BAY to be extracted clear of the field. XMAS BAY was racing fiercely to his inside presenting a danger to the trailing runners.
BETTERTHANKATY - raced three wide early before being improved to the lead at the 1500 metres.
BUGALUGS - contacted track markers rounding the final bend. Held up rounding the final turn and the early stages of the run home.
XMAS BAY - when four deep on the running line commenced to over race inside the 1600 metres and pulled fiercely approaching the 1100 metres with the gelding becoming uncontrollable resulting in Driver D Butcher taking the gelding clear of the field for safety reasons. A warning was placed on the geldings racing manners record.
ATOM HANOVER - held up rounding the final turn and the early stages of the run home.
Race 9   KATE FILL-WILSON LAST NIGHT AT AP MARCH 22 TROT
LUNDQVIST - broke passing the 400 metres.
PEAKZ LUCK - badly inconvenienced by a galloping runner at the 400 metres and again checked by a breaking runner inside the 300 metres.
MISS BLISSFUL - the authorisation of the payment of the mare's 3rd placing was withheld until such such time Stewards were satisfied that it had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations.
THATGIRLTROUBLE - broke at the start checking another runner. Held up for clear racing room inside the final 60 metres.
COMEDY ACT - broke free of interference passing the 300 metres galloping inward checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the entire's racing manners record.
LUKYANOVA - broke passing the 2000 metres
PHOEBE IMPERIAL - 100 metres after the start checked away from a galloping runner and broke losing ground.
Race 10   'NEXT 2YO TROT HERE ON APRIL 5' (NON-TOTE) (2YO MOBILE TROT)
SHANHILL - trotted unevenly rounding the final bend and broke losing considerable ground and its chance.
