Race 1   SCOTT DICKSON STABLES HANDICAP TROT
CAROLINE WOZNIACKI - slow to begin.
LEESA CASTLETON - over-raced middle stages.
MACKALI - weakened from inside the 500 metres.
NATTY PAGGER - broke shortly after the start and galloped a distance losing it's chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's standing start manners record.
SUCH FUN - broke at the start but settled quickly.
LAURA BUSH - slow to begin.
MAJESTIC ONE - inclined to lay in rounding the bends. Weakened from inside the 500 metres.
Race 2   DARRYL & NICK BRADLEY MOBILE PACE
EXPRESS PLAY - held up by a tiring runner on the final turn and then had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight.
MARRERA - weakened rounding the final turn inconveniencing trailing runners.
SHEIKH YABOOTY - raced three wide early.
THE KAPITI EXPRESS - held up by a tiring runner on the final turn.
FANCY SCHMANCY - over-raced middle stages when towards the rear.
Race 3   PAUL CLARIDGE ELECTRICAL MOBILE PACE
WAINGARO MARA - over-raced middle stages. Paced roughly near the 100 metres when held up for clear running.
MOTORING MAJOR - lay out under pressure in the run home when attempting to utilise the passing lane. When questioned regarding the performance Trainer/Driver J Curtin stated that the gelding had received every opportunity but had been unable to quicken when asked for an effort in the run home.
MADDISONS DESIRE - raced keenly middle stages before improving to race on terms with the leader.
Race 4   MANELINE FARRIER SUPPLIES PALMERSTONIAN MOBILE PACE
JOHNNY MAC - raced keenly when trailing the leader during the middle stages. Weakened rounding the final turn inconveniencing a trailing runner. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
MISTY MEMORY - inconvenienced by a tiring runner rounding the final turn. Shifted ground wider on the track to obtain clear running over the early stages of the run home.
IMOLA - lay in throughout the score up. Broke for several strides approaching the 200 metres. An information was lodged alleging that Driver S Abernethy drove carelessly in this incident by contacting the wheel of the sulky of BILL HALEY causing his own horse to gallop. Mr Abernethy admitted the charge and the JCA imposed a fine of $300.00.
EASTANBULL - paced roughly then broke when being improved to the lead passing the 1700 metres losing it's chance and was retired from the event. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record. Driver K Marshall was shown the replay of this incident and spoken to advisedly as to the manner in which he drove.
Race 5   RICOH MOBILE PACE
OUR WICKLOW - shifted up the track throughout the run home when under pressure. Junior Driver D Ferguson was shown the replay and warned to maintain a straight course in the run home in the future.
ITSOKBEINGBETTER - over-raced middle stages.
Race 6   RS FLOOR COATINGS MOBILE PACE
There was a two minute delay at the request of race day control.
BEAUDIENE EMERALD - over-raced middle stages when outside the leader.
CHANGED MY MIND - lay out rounding the final turn when in the lead and shifted ground outward under pressure throughout the run home.
OWHATA ANGEL - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. The mare was declared unruly for mobile starts. Broke again free of interference passing the 700 metres. OWHATA ANGEL was stood down and is to trial satisfactorily before resuming.
LINCOLN TOY - lay in at various stages and in particular on the final turn placing Driver Z Butcher at a disadvantage. Held up early stages of the run home.
Race 7   REHAB PHYSIO CENTRE MOBILE PACE
DOWNTOWN BABE - broke racing into the first bend and settled at the rear of the field. A warning was placed on the filly's racing manners record.
JOSHUA DYLAN - attempted to lead throughout but lay in under pressure passing the 150 metres and weakened out.
RAGING THUNDER - broke in the score up losing approximately 40 metres. The gelding was declared unruly for mobile starts. Weakened out inside the final 500 metres.
AIN'T NOTHING BETTOR - held up final turn and the early stages of the run home.
