Co-Trainer T Chmiel advised Stewards on 9 March that REFLECTIONSOFMYLIFE was found to be suffering from a virus following its disappointing performance at Addington on 1 March and is having a brief freshen up before resuming.

LITTLE MISS - raced In Season. Broke with 1200 metres to run.
HANG ON SUZIE - trotted roughly exiting the final bend.
KEN'S DREAM - broke at the start with this gelding being placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
ABOUT LAST NIGHT - trotted roughly through the middle stages. The connections advised that this mare is now retired from racing.
B K DOVER - lay inwards through the early stages of the run home.
GOTTA TICKET - broke when negotiating the crossing with 1100 metres to run. Broke again with 200 metres to run. A warning was placed on its racing record.

Race 4   HOTEL REEFTON LIQUOR CENTRE PACE
THE OPTIMIST - over raced throughout. Driver S Ottley advised that she elected not to activate the hopple shorteners on this mare due to it pacing fluently. Stewards advised Miss Ottley that should this be her intention in the future to notify Stewards prior to the running of the race.
TACTICAL CHANGE - displayed poor barrier manners. Broke at the start.
PRESIDENT PAT - broke at the start. Hung inwards when improving from the 1100 metres. Weakened from the 400 metres.
MARKHAM EYRE - broke at the start. A warning was placed on barrier record of this gelding. Hung inwards at various stages through the running.
SHOTGUN WEDDING - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of this mare.
NATIVE ONEINAMILLION - late scratching after starting in Race Two.
NANS CHOICE - displayed poor barrier manners. Paced roughly in the early stages.
Race 5   REEFTON COFFIN CO. MOBILE PACE
SHEZSOMETHINSPECIAL - locked wheels briefly with CUTE when negotiating the course crossing. Raced wide without cover through the middle stages.
CONQUISTADOR - broke rounding the final bend. A warning was placed on its racing record.
CUTE - raced wide in the early stages briefly locked wheels when negotiating the course crossing for the first time with SHEZSOMETHINSPECIAL. Weakened from the 500 metres. A post race veterinary check revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on its performance.
MELODY POND - broke in the score up and was out of position at dispatch.
NADIRA FRANCO - when questioned regarding the improved performance of this mare the connections advised it had not raced with any luck in its previous starts and had benefited from an economical run throughout. Junior Driver H Clarke assisted by Senior Horseman S Clarke was fined $200 for using her whip on more occasions than permitted over the concluding stages.
INVISIBLE GIRL - weakened from the 500 metres.
KACIE CULLEN - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance Driver J Cox advised that the mare had failed to handle the mid race move.
Trainer J McDermott advised Stewards on 15 March that blood tests taken from CUTE have shown some irregularities with the mare having a brief freshener before resuming.
Race 6   THE ELLERY CLAN MOBILE PACE
HIGHLAND REIGN - locked wheels with SNOW PRINTZ approaching the first bend.
BONNIE BOY - raced without front shoes. Over raced through the middle stages. Weakened from the 400 metres. Driver N Chilcott advised that the gelding had choked down.
PAY ME SWISS - weakened final bend.
JAZELLE - broke after 200 metres and was retired from the event. A warning was placed on the racing record of this filly.
FROSTY RECEPTION - broke prior to the first bend.
SNOW PRINTZ - hung inwards approaching the first bend locking wheels with HIGHLAND REIGN, sustaining a punctured sulky wheel tyre as a result. Raced keenly thereafter before weakening from the 700 metres.
AROCKNATTHEPARK - weakened final stages. Driver G Smith advised that the gelding had felt lethargic throughout. Was subject to a post race veterinary check where it was reported the gelding had returned to the stable enclosure suffering from atrial fibrillation. The gelding was subjected to a further post race veterinary check a short time later where it was further reported that its heart had returned to normal rhythm. Stood down pending a Vet clearance including a clear ECG.
Race 7   GREYMOUTH STAR PACE
MISTER MIGHTY - slow to begin. Broke after negotiating the crossing nearing the 1100 metres losing its chance.
OFFICIALDON - displayed poor barrier manners. Broke at the start and shifted up the track checking outside runner with a warning being placed on its barrier record.
PAY ME VISA - checked at the start losing ground.
CHANGE IS GOOD - broke briefly at the start.
EASTWOOD CHIEFTAIN - held up on the home turn.
JUST N AWE - rough through the early stages.
Race 8   GREG TOPP BETTA ELECTRICAL 'TEAM TEAL' LADY DRIVERS MOB PACE
The start was aborted due to MELT DOWN positioning itself in the middle of the track and refusing to move.
SONIC REIGN - improved outwards nearing the 500 metres placing runners in restricted room. Held up on the home turn. Driver D Flint was suspended by the JCA from the close of racing today up to and including the 31st March 2019 after admitting she drove carelessly nearing the 500 metres by shifting outwards when not entitled to.
THE KAIK - placed in restricted room nearing the 450 metres having to be steadied and locked wheels with HES FAST AND FURIOUS losing momentum. Held up by tiring runner soon afterwards.
FORTUNE TILLER - placed inside runners in restricted room entering the first bend. Junior Driver A Stewart will be spoken to in the coming days in regards to shifting ground when not in a position to do so.
FORD RULE - raced wide into the first bend.
SCELTA UNO - broke when awkwardly placed on the back of CLARENDON FALCON nearing the 1750 metres after an slight easing of the pace checking trailing runner as a consequence. Broke again nearing the 600 metres when making contact with the sulky of CLARENDON FALCON. Driver A Tomlinson was fined $250.00 by the JCA after admitting she drove carelessly at this stage of the race.
MAGICAL MISS - wide early and middle stages. Weakened on the home turn inconveniencing trailing runners.
HES FAST AND FURIOUS - placed in restricted room nearing the 450 metres having to be steadied and locked wheels with THE KAIK losing momentum. Held up by tiring runner soon after.
SWAP OVER - inconvenienced nearing the 1750 metres.
MELT DOWN - refused to score up and was sent to the unruly for the restart. This mare will remain on the unruly for future mobile starts.
Driver A Stewart (FORTUNE TILLER) has been spoken to and cautioned regarding the manner in which drove entering the first bend when placing inside runners in restricted room.
Race 9   BUCCLEUGH'S ON HIGH INANGAHUA GREY VALLEY CUP (HCP PACE)
MAURICE - broke at the start and again exiting the final bend.
FEEL THE MONEY - broke at the start. When questioned regarding the performance Driver R Houghton was of the opinion that the mare did not back up from its run on Friday and was unable to see out the 3200 metre distance today.
TUAPEKA TRICK - broke when negotiating the crossing with 2300 metres to run. Weakened from the 600 metres inconveniencing trailing runners. Stewards will speak with Driver G Smith in regards to the manner he drove when weakening at this stage of the race.
GIMMEFIVEMINUTESMORE - over raced early stages.
DI CAPRIO - inconvenienced by weakening runner passing the 500 metres.
Race 10   ELECTRONET HANDICAP TROT
OVERZEALOUS - began awkwardly, settled before breaking again. Hung inwards when improving from the 900 metres.
ROCKNPOP - held up on the home turn.
PRINCE TEKA - was held up by tiring runner rounding the final bend making contact with its sulky wheel as a consequence.
ONE OVER DOVER - trotted roughly around the first bend. Broke passing the 50 metres.
TAKE AFTER ME - broke at the start and was retired from the event.
NO FEARS - broke when negotiating the crossing with 2200 metres to run.
LIGHTWORKOFIT - commenced to weaken rapidly from the 500 metres inconveniencing the trailing runner. Had its sulky wheel contacted at this stage with the tyre deflating in consequence.
