JOUR HIGHNESS - broke at the start and settled at the rear. Authorisation of first placing was withheld until it was confirmed that the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
OUR ROSA - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke passing the 600 metres losing all chance.
AWA CATHRINE - broke shortly after the start but settled quickly.
LUNDQVIST - broke passing the 600 metres and lost all chance.
LITTLEBITOFLOVE - broke for approximately 30 metres approaching the 100 metres.
ONE YANKEE SON -over-raced middle stages and was inclined to lay in throughout. Broke passing the 600 metres losing all chance.

MR BILLIARDS - checked by a breaking runner racing over the crossing near the 1500 metres and had to take evasive action.

UNCLE DREW - broke for a stride travelling over the crossing near the 1500 metres causing checks to trailing runners. Held up for clear racing room throughout the run home.

MAC'S TOMADO - inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 250 metres. Driver N Chilcott reported that she did not activate the sliding blinds due to having the field covered.
NOTORIOUS - a Protest was lodged against the gelding's 2nd placing on the grounds that it shifted ground outwards when in the lead approaching the 250 metres and caused interference to LADY AMEERA, which resulted in interference to other runners including the 4th placed SHOT IN THE DARK. The Protest was not contested by Connections and NOTORIOUS was relegated to 4th placing promoting IDEAL LINCOLN to 2nd and SHOT IN THE DARK to 3rd placing respectively. Driver K Marshall admitted an associated charge under Rule 869(4) for allowing his horse to shift ground outwards causing interference. The JCA imposed a fine of $350.
IDEAL LINCOLN - finished 3rd before being promoted to 2nd placing.
BEAUDIENE EMERALD - checked by a galloping runner with Driver D Butcher taking evasive action passing the 250 metres.
SHOT IN THE DARK - checked and lost ground when forced to race wider on the track passing the 250 metres. Promoted from 4th to 3rd placing after a Protest was upheld against the 2nd placing of NOTORIOUS.
MY BOY BOO - checked and broke approaching the 250 metres losing its chance.
LADY AMEERA - broke late in the score up settling at the rear of the field. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners record. Checked and broke passing the 250 metres with resultant interference to other runners.

OWHATA ANGEL - broke late in the score up and settled toward the rear. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners.
BABYFACENELSON - lay in rounding the first bend. Paced roughly rounding the final turn.
RAGING THUNDER - broke in the score up losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier record.
AMERICAN ME - inconvenienced by a galloping runner in the score up and was a length out of position at the start.

WAINGARO MARA - lay out throughout the run home. Driver K Marshall reported that he could not drive the gelding out to full advantage as a result.
MHAI TICKLED PINK - broke passing the 900 metres losing several lengths and as a result the trailing SWEET MAGGIE RYAN was checked and broke briefly. A warning was placed on the filly's racing manners.

CRACKARED - stood on the mark when the barriers were released and lost considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's standing start manners.
COUNT LANDECK - checked and had to take evasive action shortly after the start. Held up early in the run home.
ALLY MAE - inconvenienced and broke losing several lengths at the start. Placed on the unruly for future stands at the trainer's request. Held up early in the run home.
STARS DELIGHT - the saddle cloth number came partially adrift late in the run home.
FOREVER PEARL - driver T Cameron reported that a sulky tyre deflated during the running.
BILL HALEY - driver J Abernethy was shown the replay of the start and spoken to advisedly with regard to the position his runner was occupying at dispatch. Over-raced middle stages.
COMIC BOOK HERO - impeded by breaking runners at the start.
IMOLA - broke at the start and shifted in contacting an inside runner losing considerable ground.

LITTLEBITOFLOVE - dual acceptor from Race 1 - was pre-race vet checked and cleared to race. Broke for several strides approaching the 100 metres.
NEED LUCK - broke racing into the first bend losing considerable ground.
