Trainer B Hill advised Stewards on 12 February that DARK RAGE has had its hocks and knees injected since racing at Addington on 1 February adding that the gelding will continue with its current preparation.

Race 1   CHRISTCHURCH CASINO MOBILE PACE
PAT CAMPBELL - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the final straight.
SKY CITY KING - over-raced in the early and middle stages. Held up on the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
ALL NUTS N BOLTS - tired from the 500 metres.
B MAC C - held up early stages of the run home and again just short of the winning post.
AVEROSS RUSTLER - driver M Williamson reported the blinds were not activated due to the cord becoming entangled.
PADUKA - raced wide without cover throughout. Weakened from the 800 metres.
EASTWOOD IDEAL - raced wide throughout. Lay inwards throughout the final straight.
READY TO RUMBLE - raced wide early stages until being taken forward to race outside the leader near the 1300 metres.
CINDY BROMAC - held up throughout the run home.
JODY DIREEN - shifted outwards near the 400 metres and made contact with the inside sulky wheel of IDEOLOGIST. Junior driver M Hurrell (assisted by J Cox), admitted a charge of careless driving with the JCA suspending his Horseman's Licence from the conclusion of racing on 22 February up to and including 26 February 2019 (3 days).
IDEOLOGIST - sustained a punctured sulky tyre passing the 400 metres. Unsuccessfully protested against the winner JODY DIREEN citing interference on the final bend.
JAY TEE TYRON - raced wide throughout.

MOTU GREAT SENSATION - broke at the start.
PHOEBE ONYX - broke at the start.
DON'T ROCK THE BOAT - lay inwards and dislodged several track markers near the 1100 metres.
GET LUCKY - driver B Williamson will be spoken to regarding allowing his horse to shift into the passing lane over the final stages.
TONIQUE DE FEU - over-raced through the middle stages.
SPEEDY COMMAND - raced wide in the early stages.
MAJESTIC CHEVRON - hampered by a breaking runner on the final bend being held up in consequence.
SWISS MISS - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Hampered again by a breaking runner on the final bend being held up in consequence.

COUNT EYRE - broke near the 450 metres.
MICHELLE - raced four wide from the 800 metres. Lay inwards throughout the final straight.

J B MAUNEY - out of position at the candy pole despite the efforts of driver B Orange. Raced wide early and middle stages. Tired from the 400 metres. When questioned regarding the performance, driver B Orange was unable to offer any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
IVE ALREADY TOLD YOU - raced wide early and middle stages. Over-raced once being taken around to the parked position near the 800 metres having to be heavily restrained.
SMOKIN BY - raced wide early and middle stages.
Race 4   PGG WRIGHTSON SIRES' STAKES 'HARNESS 7000' MOBILE PACE
PILCH - broke in the initial stages of the score up and was back a length at the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
ULTIMATE ROCKER - shifted outwards near the 700 metres making contact with the legs of SHECANDANCE which broke. Driver S McNally defended a charge of careless driving however after considering the evidence, the breach was upheld by the JCA and Mr McNally's Horseman's Licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing on 22 February up to and including 7 March 2019 (6 days).
MATAI MINKY - raced roughly for a short distance in the early stages after making contact with the sulky wheel of ULTIMATE ROCKER after both runners shifted ground fractionally. Inconvenienced near the 650 metres and raced roughly for several strides.
SHECANDANCE - out of position at the start firstly in order to accommodate PILCH being able to take up its position and secondly despite the efforts of driver G Smith who reported the filly to have raced lethargically throughout. Heavily checked near the 700 metres when improving three wide with the filly breaking.
Race 5   BLUE STAR TAXIS SUMMER TROTTING FREE-FOR-ALL (MOBILE TROT)
THE DOMINATOR - briefly held up passing the 100 metres.
SUNDEES SON - broke with 200 metres to run.
QUEVERT - raced wide in the early stages. Lay outwards through the final straight.
RONALD J - raced wide in the early stages. Trainer P Nairn was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after the gelding was presented without the notified deafeners.
SMOKEY MAC - held up throughout the home straight. Driver M Williamson advised he had not activated the sliding blinds in consequence.
VALLORIA - weakened over the final stages. When questioned regarding the gelding's performance, driver J Dunn was unable to offer any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
JEN JACCKA - held up throughout the run home. Driver B Williamson reported he had not activated the mare's deafeners in consequence.
Race 6   PGG WRIGHTSON NZ YEARLING SALES SERIES FILLIES (MOB PACE)
MAJORCA - raced fiercely in the early stages of the score up then broke briefly being out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier record. Weakened on the final bend.
MARIANNA BROMAC - weakened on the final bend.
LUVTAHAVTIME - weakened from the 700 metres.
ALLABOUTJOY - weakened on the final bend.
NAKURU - paced roughly in the score up and had to be steadied and was slightly out of position at the candy pole. Raced wide in the early stages.
ALLABOUTDREAMS - lay outwards throughout despite the efforts of driver B Barclay. Hampered by a tiring runner near the 700 metres.
Race 7   CANTERBURY COPY SERVICE SUMMER CUP (MOBILE PACE)
HENRY HUBERT - locked wheels with SHERIFF which was laying inwards over the concluding stages.
SHERIFF - lay inwards leaving the final bend and in the early stages of the run home. Lay inwards and locked wheels with HENRY HUBERT over the concluding stages.
LETSPENDANITETOGETHA - driver M Anderson was spoken to regarding his use of the whip over the final stages and advised to change his action.
ALTA ORLANDO - held up over the final stages.
ULTIMATE MACHETE - pre-race warmed.
Race 8   MASTER CLEANING HANDICAP TROT
MR FAHRENHEIT - broke passing the 200 metres.
ANOTHER CHAPTER - broke after 100 metres.
SIOUX PRINCESS - broke after 100 metres.
ARRAN CHIEF - hampered passing the 200 metres by a breaking runner, trotting roughly in consequence when having to shift ground abruptly.
KINGS LANDING - raced wide in the early stages.
LOVEY DOVEY MOMENT - trotted roughly in the early stages. Broke briefly leaving the final bend. Placed in restricted room and had to be steadied briefly passing the 50 metres when runners either side shifted ground.
THEODOSIA - checked and broke passing the 1000 metres.
DE VITO - over-raced in the middle stages. Shifted outwards near the 1100 metres then immediately hung back down the track and made contact with the sulky of IZMOK breaking in consequence.
MAJESTIC HURRICANE - broke at the start.
Race 9   PGG WRIGHTSON NZ STANDARDBRED BREEDERS STAKES (MOBILE PACE)
DIBABA - a false start was declared when a rein became caught over the mare's shaft. Slow out of the pre-race circle at the re-start however was in position at the start. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record. Weakened passing the 400 metres. When questioned regarding the performance, driver and co-trainer T Chmiel advised he was disappointed with the effort. Mr Chmiel further advised he would have the horse scoped and blood tests taken in the coming days and undertook to notify the results to Stewards. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery.
ELLE MAC - restrained to shift inwards near the 2400 metres however when doing so incurred a punctured sulky tyre from the trailing DREAM ABOUT ME. Eased out of the race passing the 800 metres.
SAMSKARA - raced fiercely throughout causing driver S Ottley difficulty on several occasions. Sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 700 metres and was eased out of the race at the 600 metres. Driver S Ottley reported the tyre to have punctured without any outside interference.
BETTOR'S HEART - raced wide early stages.
ESPECIAL - raced wide early stages.
SWEET MARY - over-raced in the early stages.
DREAM ABOUT ME - over-raced in the early stages. Made contact with the sulky wheel of ELLE MAC passing the 2400 metres when there was an easing of the pace.
Co-trainer T Chmiel advised Stewards on 23 February that blood tests taken from DIBABA after its disappointing performance at Addington on 15 February revealed no abnormalities. Mr Chmiel further advised that the mare was suffering from hock sensitivity and has had its hocks injected and will resume at Alexandra Park on 1 March 2019.
Race 10   LINDAUER & SPEIGHTS SERVED AT SPECTATORS HANDICAP PACE
GYPSY'S CHOICE - caused a considerable delay when refusing to address the barriers. Initially stood on the mark as the tapes were released then backed into the approaching line of 10 metre horses causing considerable interference to several runners. The connections were advised that the mare had been stood down from all standing starts events until it can trial satisfactorily on two occasions.
SAILS - broke after 100 metres.
MACHS MARETA - broke briefly at the start.
BARRETT - broke at the start.
DOCTOR TIM - broke at the start.
ONEDIN REIGN - checked and broke at the start.
ZINNY MACH - crowded at the start and taken inwards onto SHEZACULLENGIRL with driver N Williamson being dislodged and ZINNY MACH losing all chance. Mr Williamson was unharmed in this incident.
OVERARM - hampered at the start and shifted inwards crowding ZINNY MACH.
SHEZACULLENGIRL - crowded at the start with driver B Barclay being dislodged and SHEZACULLENGIRL losing all chance. Mr Barclay was unharmed in this incident.
The all clear was delayed until Stewards had reviewed the start and it was determined that any interference or incident occurred well after the release of the barriers with the payment of dividends cleared accordingly.
