Co-Trainer G Hope advised Stewards on 30 January that blood tests taken from MOSSDALE ART revealed that the filly was suffering from an infection which has since been treated.

Race 1   SBSR SELLING AT NZB STANDARDBRED SALE 19 & 20 FEB MOB PACE
ART COURAGE - lay outwards on the final bend and continued to do so throughout the final straight.
DARK RAGE - lay inwards throughout the home straight with driver R May unable to pressure the gelding. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. When spoken to regarding the performance, trainer B Hill could only advise the horse to have hung throughout and it was his intention to have a further veterinary examination completed in the coming days. Stewards will follow up the results with Mr Hill.
IDEOLOGIST - lay inwards and raced roughly through the final straight.
TAKEMYBREATHAWAY - held up for a short distance passing the 200 metres. Stewards questioned driver R Houghton regarding his decision not to improve wide at any stage during the running to take up a position closer to the leaders. Mr Houghton explained that he was aware that both the lead (AVEROSS RUSTLER) and parked (J B MAUNEY) horses were highly unlikely to surrender those positions which meant he would have had to race three wide without cover. He added that tonight's field represented a considerable step up in the calibre of opposition to what the horse had encountered at its first race day start and so was prepared to drive it more conservatively.
Trainer B Hill advised Stewards on 12 February that DARK RAGE has had its hocks and knees injected since racing at Addington on 1 February adding that the gelding will continue with its current preparation.
Race 2   SBSR RICH PEDIGREE RICH PASTURE MOBILE TROT
There was a delay to the start when GEENA'S GIRL had to be attended to by the farrier.
GEENA'S GIRL - shifted to a four wide position near the 700 metres and weakened soon after. A post-race veterinary examination which included an endoscopic examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer K Townley advised the mare would be turned out for a lengthy spell.
MONRIKA - raced wide in the early and middle stages. Trotted roughly middle stages.
RITEUR - held up final bend. When spoken to regarding the performance of the mare which failed to run on thereafter, driver M Williamson explained that the mare is more suited to shorter distance races and will be restricted to these events in the immediate future where practical.
UNIQUE MARSHALL - Trainer M Edmonds was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after UNIQUE MARSHALL and CHIVASION were presented with the incorrect saddlecloth numbers. Broke approaching the 1000 metres.
ZSA ZARA - raced wide from the 800 metres.
ONE NIGHT OUT - raced wide through the early and middle stages. Weakened from the 400 metres and struck pylons on the final bend.
JERRY GARCIA - hampered by a weakening runner approaching the 500 metres.
RYDGEMONT SON - well back from its unruly position at the start. Weakened from the 600 metres. When questioned regarding the performance, driver J Curtin advised the gelding had hung throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 3   SBSR TO FIND YOUR NEXT MILLIONAIRE MOBILE PACE
DOCTOR TIM - held up early stages of the run home.
NOTA BENE DENARIO - held up on the final bend. Again held up in the middle stages of the run home.
SENORITA MARGARITA - over-raced through the middle stages when positioned to the outside of the leader.
FUN IN THE DARK - late scratching on veterinary advice at 3.45pm with a veterinary clearance required prior to resuming.
MACHS MARETA - held up on the final bend.
JOHNNY EYRE - held up middle stages of the run home.
FRANCO TEXAS - raced wide early stages.
Race 4   SBSR DIAMOND CREEK CLASSIC GROUP 2 - 27 APRIL MOBILE PACE
Due to a TAB co-mingling problem this race was delayed approximately seven minutes.
THE WARRIOR - over-raced approaching the 800 metres. Hung inwards in the home straight.
LAVER - locked wheels with VIRGIL when shifting that runner wider on the track near the 900 metres.
COPPERFIELD - the pricker was removed prior to the start. Broke shortly after the start. Lay inwards through the final straight. The all clear was delayed until it was confirmed that the gelding did not gallop in breach of the Breaking Horse Regulations through the early stages.
NOOSA BEACH - when spoken to regarding the colt's performance, driver B Orange advised that he felt the horse had raced in line with its trial performance and he was not disappointed with its efforts .
FLYING EVEN BETTOR - Trainers M Purdon and N Rasmussen were issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after FLYING EVEN BETTOR and VIRGIL were presented with the incorrect saddlecloth numbers.
VIRGIL - locked wheels with LAVER racing towards the 900 metres after having been shifted wider on the track.
Race 5   SBSR ON NZB STANDARDBRED FOR VIDEOS & PEDIGREES MOBILE TROT
Due to a TAB co-mingling problem this race was delayed five minutes.
MICHELLE - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. Over-raced once rejoining the field near the 1200 metres. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record.
ONE OVER DA SKYE - broke with 200 metres to run. A warning was placed on the mare's racing record.
MISSIE CASTLETON - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record.
SCARLETT BANNER - paced in the score up and then broke losing its chance. Stood down pending a satisfactory mobile trial. Trainer/driver G Smith later advised Stewards that on cooling down his mare had bled from one nostril with a 30 day stand down imposed along with a veterinary clearance prior to resuming. Mr Smith advised it was his intention to retire the mare.
RED HOT ROCKET - hampered approaching the 100 metres and had to shift inwards to avoid a galloping runner.
SIOUX PRINCESS - broke in the early stages with driver L McKay having considerable difficulty returning the mare to a trot requiring the assistance of the mobile gate to be pulled up. A warning was placed on the mare's racing record.
MAJESTIC HURRICANE - over-raced through the middle stages.
Race 6   SBSR FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK MOBILE PACE
ANYTIME - when spoken to regarding the performance, driver J Dunn could offer no explanation and expressed disappointment with the effort. He added that they will have the mare thoroughly checked by their own veterinarian and Stewards will follow up the results of this examination.
SANTANNA MACH - when spoken to regarding the improved performance, the connections advised the gelding had derived benefit from its fresh up run on 25 January and they had been confident of the horse returning to form.
TUAPEKA TRICK - raced wide early stages.
Stable representative J Dunn advised Stewards on 6 February that ANYTIME has had her hocks injected since racing at Addington on 1 February.
Race 7   SBSR VISIT HRNZ WEB BANNER FOR YEARLING VIDEOS HANDICAP TROT
IL PIRATA - lay inwards and trotted roughly throughout the final straight.
MISSANDEI - broke in the early stages losing ground.
Race 8   GARRARDS PREMIER MARES CHAMPIONSHIP (MOBILE PACE)
DIZZY MISS LIZZY - held up throughout the run home. Driver B Orange reported he had not been able to release his mare's deafeners.
SAMSKARA - the boring pole slipped down in the later stages of the score up then hung loose through the running. Over-raced when being restrained in the early stages. Hung inwards in the home straight.
ELLE MAC - raced wide early stages. When questioned regarding the mare's performance, driver J Cox explained the mare had been caught wide on a fast pace in the early stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.
DREAM ABOUT ME - raced wide early stages. Lay outwards leaving the final bend. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver T Williams explained the mare was not suited to having to work hard when caught wide on a fast pace in the early stages after not having raced for one month.
TIGER SWIFT - broke in the score up however was able to recover its barrier position by the candy pole. Paced awkwardly on the final bend and throughout the run home with driver D Butcher reporting he had not released the mare's deafeners.
SAILS - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record.
Stable representative M Neilson advised Stewards on 6 February that ELLE MAC has recovered well from its fresh up run at Addington on 1 February adding that the mare pleased in a workout at Rangiora in preparation for a resumption at Addington on 15 February.

Race 9   SBSR TOUR DATES 11&12 FEB CONTACT NZB STANDARDBRED MOB PACE
GOODTHINGSTAKETIME - over-raced in the middle stages.
THUNDERFROMTHETHRONE - broke when attempting to improve wide on the final bend. When spoken to regarding this, driver C Thornley felt his horse would be better suited to a track with more give in it.
GEORGIAS BARON - lost its right hind shoe in the early stages.
TRACKSAREFORTRAINS - raced lethargically once taken to the front near the 1500 metres causing an easing of the pace.
PROSECUTION WITNESS - checked on the final bend having to be taken wider losing considerable ground and its momentum.
MARKHAM EYRE - raced wide around the first bend.
Race 10   HARAS des TROTTEURS MOBILE TROT
DOLLY P - trotted roughly in the early stages.
RASTUSBURN - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
MIDNIGHT DASH - broke at the start losing all chance.
ALDEBARAN BELLE - broke at the start losing all chance. Again broke passing the 140 metres.
