RUBY SEDDON - broke at the start.
AORANGI - broke after 100 metres losing its chance.
MAJESTIC CHEVRON - broke racing into the first bend.
SIERRA GOLD - broke after 100 metres.
ABOUT LAST NIGHT - fractious prior to the start. Trotted roughly at various stages through the running.
TOPNOTCH TITAN - when questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer K Nyhan advised she had added weight to the horse's shoes with this helping the gelding trot throughout the entirety of the event which it had failed to do in its most previous starts.
ONE OVER DA SON - inconvenienced when attempting to improve wide near the 500 metres.
TIME IN A BOTTLE - began awkwardly. Broke near the 500 metres.
RAINING IN MY HEART - tangled away. Trotted roughly final bend before breaking near the 250 metres. Removed from the unruly for future standing starts.

LILAC CHANGE - broke at the start losing its chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
MY MATE BEN - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
WOODLEA EXPLORER - hung outwards racing into the first bend.
DON'T TELL ANGE - paced roughly at various stages throughout the running. Held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver M Anderson advised he did not activate the mare's sliding blinds due to it pacing roughly over the concluding stages.
PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM - broke at the start.
SOCIAL MEDIA - raced greenly near the 1450 metres.
ONEDIN SMILER - hampered at the start and broke shortly after.
OUT OF THE SHADOWS - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened considerably over the final stages.

LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN - when questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer/driver C Butt advised the gelding had appreciated being back on an all weather track and had benefited from an economical trip.
MADDISONS DESIRE - raced without one hind shoe after it came off in the preliminary. Held up early stages of the run home and hung inwards throughout the final straight.
FRANCO SHERBORNE - raced wide early stages. Hung inwards throughout the run home.
CAPITAL GIRL - subjected to a post-race veterinary examination after returning to the stable enclosure lame and received treatment from the Veterinarian for pain in the right hind stifle region. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
BOUND TO IMPRESS - out of position at the start. Driver J Versteeg was cautioned to ensure he remains in his allocated position until dispatch in future.
CULLENMORE - raced wide early and middle stages.
BHAKTI - raced wide early stages.
CHIEF KAPAI - raced wide throughout. Weakened final bend.
AVEROSS RUSTLER - when questioned regarding the improved performance, caretaker trainer W Lowe advised the gelding had benefited from a drop in class and being able to be driven in a forwards position.
GOTTA FUTURE - hung inwards leaving the final bend.
LUCY DIAMOND - raced keenly on the first bend.

ALDEBARAN BONNY - broke passing the 200 metres.
IMRAN KHAN - broke at the start. Trotted roughly passing the 1000 metres. Had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the middle stages of the run home.
RARANGI OPAL - broke near the 750 metres.
MICHELLE - broke at the start losing its chance. Trainer M Jones advised that the mare's next start will be from behind the mobile.
EYRE'S A RAG DOLL - the connections advised the mare would be racing in foal. Broke near the 1000 metres and again at the 550 metres. Stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial.
DOLLY JONES - began awkwardly and broke shortly after the start.
WANDERING STAR - trotted roughly in the back straight.
DIANA HARBOUR - broke racing into the first bend. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination after driver G Smith expressed concern that the mare may have tied up during the running. This examination confirmed Mr Smith's assessment that the mare had tied up.

STELLA'S DELIGHT - raced wide early stages.
NADIRA FRANCO - the mare raced without one hind shoe after it was removed prior to the start. Raced wide early stages.
JAFFA - weakened final bend.
PACIFIC CHAL - hung in the score up and was out of position at the start.
SANTANNA LAD - paced roughly early stages of the run home.
KATIE DALY - forced to race wide down the back straight.
SUPERSTAR LEGEND - paced roughly and had to be restrained abruptly losing ground passing the 1200 metres after an easing of the pace.

ROCK ON - driver T Williams was cautioned for half carting for a short distance passing the 1400 metres. Raced keenly in the middle stages. Mr Williams advised that the filly had been striking the sulky wheels.
SHECANDANCE - raced keenly in the middle stages. Held up final bend.
SON OF A TIGER - broke at the start.
BOULTS ON FIRE - broke at the start.

QUITE IDEAL - held up early stages of the run home.
MELINA LOWE - the connections advised the mare has been served since last racing.
NIMAH FRANCO - over-raced passing the 1000 metres when being restrained to obtain cover.
KOTARE ELITE - over-raced middle stages.
MACHSGAIN - raced wide without cover from the 1000 metres.
FUN IN THE DARK - driver M Hurrell reported the mare had wind sucked throughout.

A false start was declared due to the 30 metre barrier strand failing to release.
GIRLS LET LOOSE - broke near the 2100 metres. Broke again near the 450 metres.
GRAND PRINCESS - held up final bend and early stages of the run home. Trotted roughly passing the 100 metres and had to be steadied.
HIGHLAND STAR - broke near the 200 metres. Driver G Smith advised the gelding was giving him steering difficulties and he will be recommending gear changes.
AGATHA TYRON - inclined to lay inwards late in the run home.

SHEEZ GOOD - held up final bend.
BUSH MAN - weakened final bend.
ISLA'S JOY - unsuccessfully challenged for the lead early stages, over-raced in the parked position thereafter and weakened from the 800 metres. Driver B Laughton advised the gelding had over-raced which had taken its toll. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
CINDY BROMAC - paced roughly rounding the first bend and had to be steadied.
BLACK ART - awkwardly placed behind tiring runner near the 650 metres.
JACK'S SHADOW - broke in the score up losing its chance and was retired from the event. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
PEGASUS KOMMANDER - held up rounding the final bend.
TOM RULE - improved onto the back of a tiring runner near the 750 metres losing ground. Driver K Tomlinson, in the presence of Senior Horseman M Williamson, was shown the films and cautioned for her lack of judgement at this time. Miss Tomlinson was further cautioned for her lack of judgement passing the 550 metres when an opportunity arose for her to shift inwards and obtain clear running.

HIGHLAND REIGN - raced wide early stages.
THE TIN SOLDIER - raced wide early stages. Hung inwards throughout the run home.
CHANGE THE PRINT - raced wide early and middle stages. Hung inwards when being shifted wider on the track exiting the final bend.
FLASHING DIAMOND - raced wide early and middle stages. Weakened from the 400 metres.
GLENGARRY KNIGHT - raced keenly in the middle stages. Held up final bend.
DARK RAGE - out of position at candy pole. Driver R May was issued with a caution. Lay inwards down the back straight on the last occasion and broke near the 600 metres losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
EYE CANDY - out of position at candy pole. Driver B Munro was issued with a caution. Held up final bend and early stages of the run home.
