| STAR RULER - the Murphy blind was removed pre start as the gelding had warmed up unfavourably. Hung inwards throughout and proved difficult to drive out in the home straight. Co-trainer G Knight advised that he will have an equine dentist check the gelding's mouth and will make some gear changes prior to its next start. | |

| VI LEE - failed to respond to the urging of M Williamson passing the 400 metres and weakened from the 300 metres. When spoken to regarding the performance Mr Williamson could only advise he had been disappointed when he asked for an effort over the final stages. Trainer S Boyd explained he too had been disappointed with the run and could only attribute it to this being the fillys first trip away. He added the horse had become agitated when being harnessed but expected she would derive benefit from the experience. | |

| NORDIC PRINCE - hampered by breaking runner passing the 1400 metres. Broke near the 450 metres. A final warning was placed on the geldings racing record. At the request of Trainer R Hanson the gelding was removed from the unruly. | |
| HELLUVA WAY - broke passing the 300 metres. Driver N Williamson reported that when the horse broke two bell boots came adrift. At the request of Trainer A Paisley the gelding was removed from the unruly. | |

| EARTHQUAKE - over raced through the middle stages. Driver A Russell will be spoken to in the coming days regarding the manner he shifted ground near the 500 metres. | |
| ALEXY - hung inwards and broke in the score up losing considerable ground with a warning being placed on the mobile record of the gelding. Held up for racing room in the early and middles stages of the home straight. | |
| RAKE - paced roughly at various stages throughout. Broke near the 450 metres. A post-race Veterinary examination was carried out and revealed no obvious abnormalities however Stewards will follow up with the Trainer in the upcoming days. The centre carrier came adrift during the running and upon inspection of the gear it was found to be in good condition. Trainer K Adams was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to correctly affix the gear. | |

| GYPSY'S CHOICE - Hung outwards late in the score up then hung outwards racing into the first bend being placed in tight quarters. Driver M Williamson was shown the films and said that he would be advising the trainer to make some gear alterations to the gelding. | |
