Stable representative A Grieve advised Stewards on 12 December that FLYIN MILLY MAC has been sent for a spell.
Race 5 - PEEK EXHIBITION MOBILE PACE
Trainer M Jones advised Stewards on 13 December that SMOKE N REACTOR has recovered well following its run at Addington last Thursday. Mr Jones is of the opinion that the mare over raced at that start adding that she has worked well this week with an improved showing expected at Rangiora on Sunday.

BURST OUT LAUGHING - trainer M House was fined $50 for failing to notify the horse would be racing with Blinds by the prescribed time. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the performance, driver J Curtin advised the entire had travelled well during the running and had disappointed him with its effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed sensitivity in the hocks and left fore and shoulder region. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.
NANCY'S BOY - held up for clear racing room until inside the final 50 metres.

SPLASH COLA - held up throughout the run home.
THE DOMINATOR - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver C Thornley. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier record.
RONALD J - when questioned regarding the performance, driver G O'Reilly advised he had been slightly disappointed. A post-race veterinary examination revealed pain in the lower back region. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the gelding with the connections in the coming days.
HARRIET OF MOT - out of position at the start. After hearing from driver M Anderson he was cautioned to make a better effort in future. Raced wide from the 800 metres and broke passing the 400 metres.

KOROMIKO EYRE - driver K Newman, assisted by Senior Horseman M Williamson, admitted using his whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After submissions on penalty, the JCA imposed a fine of $200.
DARK RAGE - raced greenly behind the mobile in the score up and broke losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier record.
MORNINGSTAR GOLD - gelded since last racing. The connections requested a post-race veterinary examination after the gelding made a slow recovery with this revealing sacral pain. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.
MELTON REACTOR - over-raced middle stages. Held up final bend and early stages of the run home. Shifted up the track near the 50 metres locking stays with KOROMIKO EYRE and having to be steadied. Driver S Ottley reported she lost her whip passing the 100 metres after it became caught in the horse's tail.
DIVINIA BELLEZZA - held up throughout the run home.
STATELY - raced wide in the early stages. Over-raced middle stages. Held up middle stages of the run home.

RED HARBOUR - broke at the start.
ALADDIN SANE - inclined to lay inwards in the run home.
CHIVASION - raced wide early stages. Shifted inwards near the 1500 metres checking GIRLS LET LOOSE which lost its chance. Driver M Edmonds admitted driving carelessly in this incident with the JCA suspending his Horseman's Licence from the conclusion of racing on 16 December up to and including 3 January 2019 (4 days).
LOCKSMITH - slow to begin. Placed in restricted room near the 500 metres when racing to the inside of MICHELLE. Driver G Smith was cautioned to ensure he drives with both feet in the sulky footrest at all times during the running in future.
MOTU GREAT SENSATION - held up middle stages of the run home.
MICHELLE - broke at the start. Hung inwards and placed inside runner in some difficulty near the 500 metres.
GIRLS LET LOOSE - checked and broke near the 1500 metres losing its chance.
GIN RUMMY - hampered at the 1500 metres.
NO FEARS - trotted roughly at the 350 metres.

SLICK JOE - over-raced middle stages.
FRANCO HATTON - out of position at the candy pole despite the efforts of driver J Cox.

CHRISTIAN LADY - broke as the start was effected losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier record.
SENORITA MARGARITA - underwent and passed a pre-race veterinary examination after arriving on course with some minor abrasions. Over-raced middle stages.
KENSINGTON KATE - struggled to maintain its position in the early stages. Under pressure passing the 400 metres. Held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver M Anderson reported the sliding blinds did not activate due to the cord becoming entangled.
MOSSDALE ROSE - connections reported the mare has been served in the lead up to this engagement.

GEENA'S GIRL - broke near the 1300 metres inconveniencing trailing runner. A warning was placed on the mare's racing record.
MEKONG PRINCESS - raced fiercely in the middle stages. Trotted roughly passing the 150 metres and lay inwards thereafter.
MR FAHRENHEIT - broke at the 400 metres.
SCARLETT BANNER - connections advised the mare will be racing in foal. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages and was unable to be driven out with any vigour.
ANOTHER CHAPTER - hampered at the 1300 metres.
IN SEQUENCE - broke at the 350 metres.

SI SI SENOR - raced greenly nearing the 1200 metres.
GOOD ON YA KIWI - driver R Holmes admitted using his whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After submissions on penalty, the JCA suspended his Horseman's Licence from the conclusion of racing on 16 December up to and including 29 December 2018 (3 days).
WARLOCH - held up round the final bend.
PEMBROOK LEGACY - paced roughly shortly after the start.
OHOKA CHOPPER - hung inwards leaving the final bend and through the early stages of the run home. Held up for a period thereafter. Driver G Smith will be spoken to in the coming days in regard to the tactics he adopted in the early stages of the run home.
CINDY BROMAC - connections reported the mare has been served in the lead up to this engagement.
