FRANCO HAMPTON - awkwardly placed near the 100 metres having to be steadied. Stewards investigated a perceived breach of the push-out rule approaching the 1700 metres when FRANCO SAXON raced four wide to the outside of FRANCO HAMPTON, which shifted ground outwards. It was established that FRANCO HAMPTON had commenced its outward movement prior to FRANCO SAXON covering its sulky wheel and no further action was deemed necessary. | |
