The connections of SON OF A TIGER advised Stewards on 5 December that the gelding has recovered well from its performance at Addington last week and will continue with its current preparation.
Race 9 - BLUE STAR TAXIS MOBILE PACE
The connections advised Stewards on 30 November that SLICK JOE had recovered well from its last start and will continue with its current preparation.

Trainer B Weaver advised Stewards on 4 December that EXTRA GUINNESS has been treated for a minor respiratory infection since its performance at Methven last Sunday.

RUNCLE - slightly out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver S Wigg.
BETTOR BACKIM - raced wide and hung outwards through the early stages causing driver P Cook difficulty.
FRANCO SHERBORNE - hampered shortly after the start. Raced wide early stages.
MARTIN JOHN - hung outwards in the early stages of the home straight.
SENORITA MARGARITA - over-raced through the middle stages. Steadied briefly near the 200 metres when awkwardly placed close to the sulky of MARTIN JOHN which shifted outwards marginally.
QUEEN OF GLORY - raced wide early stages. Again raced wide from the 1000 metres.
STOPPITT - no claims lodged. Hampered shortly after the start. Raced wide early stages.
DEN'S LEGACY - shifted to the three wide position near the 600 metres and weakened soon after.

FRANCO JOSIAH - lay inwards over the concluding stages.
PHOEBE ONYX - trotted roughly in the home straight.
DOFF YOUR CAP - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Lay outwards throughout the run home.
NOBLE MISTRESS - weakened from the 700 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare.
CAPELLI - pre-race warmed.
AORANGI - trotted roughly in the score up and was back slightly at the candy pole. Trotted roughly and hung outwards throughout the home straight and was unable to be fully driven out.
KOWHAI SUNDOWN - trotted roughly in the home straight.
HE WAS ROMEO - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Trotted roughly passing the 1500 metres and broke for several strides having to be restrained. Hung inwards and broke near the 900 metres checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Weakened final bend.
FLYIN MANDY - broke shortly after the start. Checked and broke near the 900 metres.

BURST OUT LAUGHING - driver R May admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After submissions on penalty the JCA suspended Mr May's Horseman's Licence from the conclusion of racing on 9 December up to and including 21 December 2018 (4 days).
FLYIN MILLY MAC - held up final bend by a tiring runner. When questioned regarding the performance, driver T Williams reported the mare to have raced in similar fashion to last week when racing keenly throughout and disappointed over the final stages. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the mare with trainer C Dalgety in the coming days.
SANTANNA MACH - when questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer M House reported the gelding to have been racing well without luck and noted the gelding to have been held up on occasions in recent racing. Mr House added he had been confident of a forward showing today.
BACK IN BLACK - forced to race wide from the 850 metres.
NURBURGRING - paced roughly passing the 1600 metres and had to be steadied.
SAILS - gave ground final bend.

EASTWOOD IDEAL - held up final bend.
DARRYL KERRIGAN - broke shortly after the start checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
REFINE - hung inwards throughout the home straight.
SHESHEARTANDSOLE - hung inwards throughout the home straight.
PROVISEUR - over-raced through the middle stages. Weakened in the run home. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
GEORGIE ZUKOV - checked by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
XMAS BAY - over-raced when being restrained in the early stages. Held up leaving the final bend. Driver J Young reported the deafeners were not activated due to the cord becoming entangled.

FLASHING DIAMOND - under pressure passing the 1000 metres, gave ground passing the 900 metres and compounded thereafter being distanced at the finishing line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare.
PRINCESS FULHAM - held up by a weakening runner through the back straight on the final occasion until shifting outwards near the 700 metres to improve its position.
LILAC STAR - got its head up prior to the start and raced roughly for several strides losing ground.
SMOKE N REACTOR - raced keenly throughout. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver S Tomlinson reported the mare had been disappointing and could offer no explanation. Miss Tomlinson added that the horse had sprung a hind shoe. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the mare with trainer M Jones in the coming days.
DIVINIA BELLEZZA - held up on the final bend.
STATELY - weakened passing the 700 metres.
CHITURA - held up losing ground near the 900 metres when caught behind a weakening runner.
ROSINUPTHEBOW - raced fiercely in the score up.
CHRISTIAN WHO - hampered shortly after the start. Driver L Whittaker reported that he had not activated the mare's hopple shorteners. Mr Whittaker was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly for the manner he drove passing the 1500 metres.

This race was delayed by 12 minutes due to two false starts.
GEENA'S GIRL - held up final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
LIGHTWORKOFIT - a false start was declared after LIGHTWORKOFIT broke in the score up checking MAJESTIC HURRICANE dislodging driver K Barron. Sent to the unruly position for the re-start. Broke again in the score up for the re-start checking the trailing SCARLETT BANNER resulting in another false start being declared. Declared a late scratching by Stewards under Rule 857(3)(j). Stood down pending a satisfactory trial and declared unruly for future mobile starts.
SCARLETT BANNER - checked and broke before switching to a pace in the score up of the 2nd re-start losing considerable ground. Raced keenly through the middle stages.
IL PIRATA - raced wide early stages. Improved wide from the 900 metres being shifted to a four and then five wide position on the final bend. Trotted roughly in the home straight. When questioned regarding the performance, driver L Lester reported the gelding had been disappointing when asked for an effort over the final stages. Co-trainer C DeFilippi reported the gelding to have been unsuited to racing keenly through the early stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
ALVIRA HEST - held up leaving the final bend.
JERRY GARCIA - raced wide early stages.
MAJESTIC HURRICANE - checked in the score up with driver K Barron being dislodged then galloped driverless for a considerable distance before making heavy contact with the birdcage gate when in the process of being re-captured. Declared a late scratching by order of Stewards. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a superficial abrasion on the right hock. Driver K Barron was examined by St John Paramedics and unharmed in this incident.
JUSTAMOLLYARCHER - raced fiercely through the early stages and improved wide on the track. Weakened final bend.
 
Race 7CHRISTCHURCH CASINO 'NEW OUTDOOR BAR' MOBILE PACEVideo  Video 
PEMBROOK LEGACY - held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
ROCKNROLL KING - paced roughly final bend.
ARDENT LUSTRE - hung inwards final bend and struck a track marker when weakening.
ROCK ON - Driver S Ottley was warned for the manner she drove passing the 600 metres when allowing her runner to make contact with the wheel of MACHS MARETA. Lay outwards leaving the final bend causing the filly to race wider than required in the early stages of the run home.
APOCALYPSE - paced roughly after attempting to duck under the mobile barrier in the score up. Raced wide early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field. Held up leaving the final bend.

DONEGAL CARNBOUY - held up final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
THE DOORMAN - over-raced middle stages, Hung inwards and paced roughly final bend.
COURT ON THE EDGE - when spoken to regarding the gelding's performance, the connections advised that the horse had been able to take advantage of a more economical run tonight than it had received in recent racing.
DOCTOR TIM - held up for clear racing room until late in the run home.
HUEY LEWIS - raced wide early stages. Over-raced middle stages.
DOITSON - raced wide early stages.
SEZANA - raced wide early stages.
