XMAS BAY - broke shortly after the start and trailed the field. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the gelding.
MISTER SLICK - broke early in the score-up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the gelding.
TRAILER PARK GIRL - driver S Murtha momentarily dropped his right foot from the sulky foot rest when activating gear early in the run home.

KOWHAI SUNDOWN - broke shortly after the start and settled at the rear.
MONARO MARO - broke near the 450 metres.
PASTRANA - trotted roughly under pressure late in the run home and could not be fully tested.
FLYIN MANDY - checked shortly after the start.
SMARTLY SPOKEN - swung sideways when the barrier was released checking inside runner and was slow to begin. Broke near the 700 metres when at the rear.
TOLDYAH FRANKIE - broke approaching the 1500 metres losing several lengths. Broke near the 500 metres.
LOOK AHEAD - held up for clear running until near the 100 metres.
ANOTHERDOLLYTROUBLE - held up early in the run home.
KASH VALLEY - became unbalanced and broke racing over the crossing near the 1700 metres but soon settled.
WESTEROS - shifted out throughout the run home to finish on the extreme outer. When questioned driver J Dunn advised that the off side sliding blind had failed to activate with the gelding locking on the inside rein which placed him at a considerable disadvantage.

sk3LEi-p1oo AMERICAN BANNER - lay out throughout the running and in particular when under pressure early in the run home.
JACK'S SHADOW - the near side sliding blind came partially adrift during the running.
CABAZON VICTORY - trainer G Smith was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the mare with an incorrect saddlecloth number.
COMFORTABLY NUMB - broke shortly after the winning post.
MATAU GEM - broke late in the score-up and was back a length at dispatch.

UNIQUE MARSHALL - inconvenienced and broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Weakened from the 600 metres.
CLOVER LOU - broke under pressure near the 100 metres.
HEAVENLY LOVE - broke near the 400 metres losing its chance.
SPURRED BY SUCCESS - broke near the 300 metres losing its chance.
DIANA HARBOUR - broke near the 450 metres losing all chance. The mare was stood down until it trials satisfactorily.
TEHORO TEASE - driver R Holmes reported that he did not have to activate the removable deafeners.
IDEAL INVASION - broke shortly after the start and trailed the field.
TAIERI MISS - trotted roughly on the first bend.
TRICKY RASTUS - broke near the 350 metres.
MONRIKA - threw its head on several occasions and trotted roughly when back in midfield near the 500 metres.

7lOdBp5PMRs IVE ALREADY TOLD YOU - broke at the start and galloped for a considerable distance before settling. Placed on the Unruly for its future mobile starts. A Protest was lodged against the 3rd placing on the grounds of galloping in excess of 150 metres over the early stages The connections did not contest the Protest with the JCA disqualifying the gelding from 3rd placing. Junior driver H Jerard (who elected not to have assistance from a Senior Horseman) was fined $200.00 under Rule 869 (2) for using her whip on more occasions than permitted by clause (b) of the 'Use of Whip' Regulations.
WILD EXCUSE - broke at the start and shifted in checking another runner. A warning was placed on the filly's mobile barrier record.
CHATHAM KNIGHT - underwent a post-race veterinary examination after pulling up lame and was diagnosed with a suspected fracture to its right front fetlock. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance.
JIMMY RICHTER - broke late in the score-up and then checked shortly after the start by another breaking runner and trailed the field . A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier record.

ALI LINDENNY - broke at the start.
SUNNY GLENIS - held up early final turn and then had difficulty obtaining clear running.
BRIGHT GLOW - driver I Cameron was fined $200 under Rule 869 (2) for using his whip on more occasions than permitted by clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations.
ASTOUND - driver D Butt defended a breach of Rule 868(3) in that he failed to drive ASTOUND out to the finish line when having a reasonable chance to run fourth. After hearing the evidence tendered from Stewards and driver D Butt the JCA found the charge proven and imposed a fine of $300 .
IN THE VALLEY - broke near the 1400 metres losing its chance.

jD8ybXr8hWc GOD ONLY KNOWS - Junior Horsewoman S Diamant, assisted by Senior Horseman G Smith, was shown the film and reprimanded for the manner in which she used the whip over the concluding stages. In taking this course of action Stewards were mindful that this was Ms Diamant's first race day drive.
BACK IN BLACK - broke near the 600 metres checking a trailing runner and lost all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
I'M JIMMY JAMES - held up for clear running until approaching the 50 metres.
MISTER MIGHTY - broke near the 1600 metres losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners
WARLOCH - checked by a galloping runner near the 600 metres and broke briefly.

Race 8	BRANDHOUSE MOBILE PACE Video
P6F_Y2902hY DELIGHTFUL TANNER - locked wheels near the 200 metres with ALL ABOUT HENRY.
ONE DIRECTION - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners.
GORE BAY - driver M Hurrell (who elected not to be assisted by a Senior Horseman) was cautioned for the manner in which he drove passing the 1650 metres when becoming awkwardly placed to the sulky of SANTANNA MACH and warned to exercise greater care in the future.
ROMANITE - checked and broke at 1650 metres after an easing of the pace.
ALL ABOUT HENRY - shifted outwards near the 200 metres briefly locking wheels with DELIGHTFUL TANNER.

Race 9	TRICES FIREWOOD MOBILE PACE Video
en1VaQUVPyg CULLENMORE - lay out and was reluctant to take the run that had become available in the passing lane early in the run home. Had to be steadied near the 100 metres when PEGASUS KOMMANDER shifted down marginally. Held up short of the winning post.
BHAKTI - held up briefly late in the run home.
PEGASUS KOMMANDER - shifted in under pressure marginally middle stages of the run home.
EVERY OPTION - worked forward to lead entering the first turn but was under pressure on the final turn and failed to run on to finish at the rear. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn stated that the gelding didn't handle the prevailing track conditions.
THE JANDEL MACHINE - hung inwards final bend and became awkwardly placed on the wheel of UNFINISHED BUSINESS.
GARRY'S LEGACY - had difficulty in obtaining clear running throughout the run home.
FREAK LIKE ME - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
BIG SMOKE - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination and was cleared to start after racing yesterday at the Geraldine TC 's meeting. Lay inwards in the early stages of the score-up hampering inside runners. This gelding was placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts. Raced three wide early and middle stages.
DREAMY DAMIEN - raced three wide early stages.

FAPjLzQdAyQ LOVEY DOVEY MOMENT - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination and was cleared to start after racing yesterday at the Geraldine TC 's meeting. Slow to begin.
JUSTAMOLLYARCHER - checked by a breaking runner early in the run home.
TIME FOR DIAMONDS - broke early in the run home but soon settled.
BEAR'S REST - broke briefly at the start.
RED HOT ROCKET - broke near the 400 metres losing its chance.
BEYOND THE HORIZON - broke at the start losing ground.
ONE OVER DOVER - broke near the 2400 metres losing considerable ground. Broke approaching the 150 metres.

ARTSTANDING - raced three wide from the 1400 metres before crossing to race outside the leader passing the 1000 metres.
BANZIE - lay out throughout the running.
STOMPEM - inclined to lay inwards rounding the final bend and throughout the run home.

AWAYOVERNIGHT - driver R Payne reported that he did not activate the sliding blinds or removable deafeners due to being held up throughout the run home.
BONNIE BOY - the removable deafeners came adrift when activated near the 200 metres.
