| GEOFF'S LEGACY - Junior Horseman D Ferguson admitted a breach of Rule 867 in that he dropped his foot from the sulky footrest when activating gear resulting in contact with GEOFF'S LEGACY's hind leg near the 1000 metres. The JCA imposed a $200.00 fine. | |

| VINIBAKA - showed gate speed to lead but then raced fiercely placing Driver Z Butcher at a disadvantage. Tended to lay out when leading and in particular on entering the back straight the final time which presented an inside run to a trailing runner. Tired quickly from the 600 metres and was eventually retired from the event. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record. | |

| LADY JENNY - held up early final turn and was shifted wide to obtain clear running. When questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer D Gale advised that the mare had benefited from a minor gear adjustment and that the race had been run to suit. | |
| K B LA SALLE - broke in the early stages of the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners. Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight. | |

| AMARO - briefly contested a position in the one out running line entering the front straight on the first occasion and was eased down to a position on the marker line. Raced in restricted room near the 400 metres. | |
| NERVE OF STEEL - led up but commenced to weaken from the 500 metres to finish at the rear. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Driver B Orange advised that he suspected that the gelding had not backed up from the first day. | |
