LADY LIBERTY - lost contact with the body of the field during the middle stages to finish distanced. A post race veterinary examination revealed that the mare had suffered an atrial fibrillation and it was subsequently stood down pending a veterinary clearance which is to include a satisfactory ECG. | |

GEOFF'S LEGACY - Junior Horseman D Ferguson admitted a breach of Rule 867 in that he dropped his foot from the sulky footrest when activating gear resulting in contact with GEOFF'S LEGACY's hind leg near the 1000 metres. The JCA imposed a $200.00 fine. | |

VINIBAKA - showed gate speed to lead but then raced fiercely placing Driver Z Butcher at a disadvantage. Tended to lay out when leading and in particular on entering the back straight the final time which presented an inside run to a trailing runner. Tired quickly from the 600 metres and was eventually retired from the event. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record. | |

K B LA SALLE - broke in the early stages of the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners. Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight. | |
