Trainer R Todd advised Stewards on 15 November that x-rays revealed SWAMP MAJOR had suffered a cracked near hind pastern and would be sent for a lengthy spell.

DOFF YOUR CAP - broke at the start losing all chance.
ROGIE FALLS - broke after 100 metres. Driver S McNally advised the deafeners were not activated due to the gelding trotting roughly.
SHES SO RIGHT - trotted roughly near the 250 metres when awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of FOREIGNER. Driver S Tomlinson was issued with a warning for attempting a marginal run. Miss Tomlinson advised the mare had trotted roughly throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed soreness in the left shoulder, hip and right hock. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
DESERT WINGS - lay outwards leaving the final bend. Driver C DeFilippi advised the deafeners were not activated due to the cord becoming entangled.
FRANCO JOSIAH - broke shortly after the start before settling and breaking again leaving the first bend.
TONIQUE DE FEU - raced wide early stages. Driver R May advised he was unable to drive the gelding out due to trotting roughly.
PRINCE TEKA - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
INVESTIGATE - late scratching prior to the start on veterinary advice after kicking out in the preliminary and falling to the track. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance and one satisfactory trial.
WESTEROS - broke at the start. When questioned regarding the performance, driver J Dunn could offer no explanation.
ASTOUND - raced wide early stages. Raced wide without cover from the 800 metres.
CHAMPAGNE PRINCE - raced wide early stages. Driver J Curtin advised the gelding had been making respiratory noises during the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a possible dorsal displacement. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.

GHOSTWRITER - raced greenly near the 1200 metres and hung outwards hampering outside runner. Continued to race greenly through the middle stages.

ROSIE'S ROB - weakened from the 700 metres.
ART COLLECTOR - lay inwards throughout the run home when being driven out.
GEORGIE ZUKOV - broke at the start.
MOVEIT MAC - fractious prior to the start and was unable to take up its rightful barrier position. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Slow through the early stages. Driver S O'Reilly advised the deafeners were not activated due to the cord becoming entangled.
ONEDIN SMILER - slow through the early stages. Weakened final bend.
BARRETT - driver M Jones reported his sulky tyre had deflated during the running.
ADJUDICATOR - underwent a veterinary examination prior to the start after rearing and falling to the track and was cleared to start. Slow through the early stages. Stood down pending a satisfactory standing start trial. Trainer M Cations advised the gelding would be sent for a spell.

SILENT SHADOW - checked by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
BOILOVER - checked by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Weakened leaving the final bend.
COMFORTABLY NUMB - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
JACK'S SHADOW - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
LINCOLN SKIPPER - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
ALGRANCO ALBYONE - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Driver G Smith was warned for striking a pylon near the 250 metres when shifting ground inwards. Mr Smith reported that the gelding had felt uncomfortable in its action after the finish of the race. Trainer P Burrows advised that the horse would be examined by his Vet in the coming days and would notify Stewards of the results.
FEAR CRUISIN - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
KOROMIKO EYRE - raced keenly through the early stages and was hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Held up early stages of the run home. Driver K Newman was spoken to advisedly for the manner he drove near the 600 metres when attempting to shift ground outwards.

DIANA HARBOUR - broke after 150 metres. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Trotted roughly throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MAJESTIC DE FENCE - broke on the final bend.
TEHORO TEASE - broke at the start. Weakened final bend.
LISA MARIE P - weakened from the 600 metres.
LOVEY DOVEY MOMENT - broke at the start. Broke again rounding the first bend. Trotted roughly throughout the home straight and was unable to be fully driven out. Authorisation of 2nd place was withheld until Stewards had confirmed the horse had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations rounding the first bend. Driver J Keast was warned to ensure his whip remains inside the confines of the sulky.
BACARDI N COKE - the boring pole was removed prior to the start after warming up unfavourably. Trotted roughly throughout. Broke near the 400 metres when leading.
ROCKNPOP - driver K Tomlinson advised the deafeners were unable to be activated due to the cord breaking.
WANDERING STAR - raced wide through the early stages. Weakened from the 1200 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed soreness in the left hip, right hock and over the back. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance and must complete one satisfactory trial prior to resuming.
LONE STAR LAD - underwent a veterinary examination after kicking out and falling to the track prior to the start and was cleared to race. Sent to the unruly position for the start. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial from a stand. Weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed sensitivity in the pole region and hindquarters. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.
CHIVASION - held up by a tiring runner approaching the 600 metres.
RED HARBOUR - broke shortly after the start. Broke again racing into the first bend.
MICHELLE - raced wide through the early stages. Hung inwards rounding the final bend and struck pylons.
THE REV - trotted roughly in the home straight.

ROCKNROLL KING - trainer/driver J Cox reported the gelding had been making abnormal breathing noises during the running. A post-race veterinary examination including an endoscopic examination revealed inflammation to the upper airway with the on course Vet recommending the connections have a dynamic scope performed on the horse in the coming days. Stewards will follow up the results with trainer J Cox.
REFINE - held up early stages of the run home.
DARK RAGE - driver R May was warned for being late to arrive at the start.
LA BELLA VITA - broke shortly after the start. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Broke again near the 200 metres. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial.
KATCHALIGHT - hampered near the 150 metres.
BETTERTHANSPRAYING - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver T Chmiel was warned to exercise care when shifting ground near the 150 metres.
ALREADY GONE - back slightly at the start after hanging outwards and pacing roughly. Raced roughly for a distance passing the 1500 metres. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver O Thornley advised the filly had resented the kick back from the track grit and she would be recommending gear changes.
JONTY KEV - held up early stages of the run home.

SMOKE N REACTOR - over-raced for a distance passing the 1000 metres.
CHRISTMAS TOYBOY - broke after 150 metres.
SON OF A TIGER - Stewards spoke with driver C Jones regarding the manner he shifted to the lead soon after the start which caused an easing of the pace to horses on the marker line. Mr Jones explained that his horse had eased quicker than he anticipated once reaching the front. Stewards accepted that while his horse had eased after reaching the front Mr Jones should have made a better effort to ensure this did not happen and so was issued with a warning.
CHRISTIAN WHO - checked by a breaking runner near the 1200 metres. Paced roughly on the final bend when attempting to improve wider on the track. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the home straight with driver J Whittaker advising the deafeners were not activated in consequence.
RUSSIAN EXPRESS - hung inwards and weakened leaving the final bend.
MACHS MARETA - broke racing into the first bend after an easing of the pace after over-racing. Broke a hopple connecting strap while in a gallop and was retired from the race. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously satisfactory condition.
THE KAIK - held up early stages of the run home.
CINDY BROMAC - hung inwards in the early stages of the home straight. Driver B Hope reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre in the run home.
TALL POPPY - over-raced through the middle stages. Held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver K Tomlinson was spoken to regarding the manner she drove near the 250 metres when becoming poorly positioned close to the sulky wheel of CINDY BROMAC. After hearing from Miss Tomlinson, assisted by M Jones, it was established that she had become awkwardly placed between runners which had both shifted ground marginally. Notwithstanding this movement Miss Tomlinson was warned to exercise greater care in future.

BHAKTI - weakened leaving the final bend.
SELENA FRANCO - paced roughly in the home straight.
PEGASUS KOMMANDER - broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Briefly held up near the 100 metres.
AWAYTOCULLECT - held up early stages of the run home. Shifted ground outwards near the 200 metres checking EVERY OPTION. Driver O Thornley was issued with a warning to exercise care when shifting ground.
DYNAMO - weakened leaving the final bend.
EVERY OPTION - held up early stages of the run home. Had to be steadied near the 200 metres when crowded by AWAYTOCULLECT which shifted ground outwards. Driver S O'Sullivan lodged a protest under Rule 869A(2) alleging interference by AWAYTOCULLECT (O Thornley) near the 200 metres. After hearing the evidence and viewing the replays, the JCA dismissed the protest. Miss O'Sullivan was spoken to regarding the manner she drove when attempting a marginal run near the 200 metres.
MORDECAI - raced wide without cover from the 1000 metres. Weakened final bend. Driver K Tomlinson reported the deafeners were not activated due to the cord breaking.

WAR HORSE - raced keenly through the middle stages. Broke over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a tendon injury to the near fore leg. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance. Trainer T Quate advised the gelding would be retired.
BOUND TO IMPRESS - held up early stages of the run home.
MYBOYLOLLIEPOP - driver S Ottley reported that her sulky tyre deflated during the running.
GOD ONLY KNOWS - broke at the start.
FLAMBOYANT - broke at the start. Driver B Laughton assisted by R May admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $200.
BOOMER BAILEY - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the home straight.
DENSTOWN - broke at the start.
ASSET CONTROL - broke at the start.
ARTICULIGHT - driver R Close reported the gelding had over-raced through the middle stages.

SONEY BEATT - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Weakened final bend.
ALI LINDENNY - when spoken to regarding the performance, driver J Dunn reported the mare had over-raced through the early and middle stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed sacral pain. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the horse in the coming days.
I'LDOITMYWAY - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Broke near the 1700 metres. Held up final bend.
GIN RUMMY - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1300 metres. Weakened final bend.
JUSTAMOLLYARCHER - broke after 150 metres.

BANZIE - driver A Lethaby reported she did not activate the hopple shorteners due to the gelding pacing roughly.
FUN IN THE DARK - driver M Williamson reported the chin rest on the mare hung loose during the running.

MAMMA KNOWS BEST - had to be heavily restrained passing the 50 metres when held up for clear racing room. Locked wheels with POSSENTE CAVALLO late in the run home.
CHANGE THE PRINT - hung inwards in the home straight when utilising the passing lane. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed slight soreness in the hip and hock region. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the horse in the coming days.
ROCK ON - raced wide early stages.
FLASHING DIAMOND - hung inwards and struck pylons near the 350 metres.
CAST NO SHADOW - fractious leaving the pre-race formation before rearing and swinging sideways. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the colt. Raced wide early stages.
PEMBROOK LEGACY - paced roughly after the start. Lay inwards throughout the run home.
GLENGARRY KNIGHT - over-raced early stages.
ONE DIRECTION - over-raced through the middle stages. Held up early stages of the run home.
IDEOLOGIST - broke with 850 metres to run. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial.
NANCY'S BOY - delayed the start due to the gelding requiring a sulky change. Raced wide early stages. Weakened final bend.
