BETTOR GETTA LOVER - lay outwards in the early stages having to be steadied by driver G O'Reilly. Raced greenly near the 1200 metres when hanging outwards. Continued to lay outwards through the final straight.
COURT ON THE EDGE - held up early stages of the run home.
WAR HERO - broke shortly after the start. Stood down pending a satisfactory mobile trial. Over-raced in the middle stages. Raced wide from the 1300 metres.
IVE ALREADY TOLD YOU - raced roughly in the early stages and then broke after 100 metres settling at the rear. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
HELD TO RANSOM - held up early stages of the run home. Driver R Close advised the deafeners were not activated in consequence.
CHASE THE HAT TRICK - over-raced in the early stages. Driver S Tomlinson was spoken to regarding the manner she drove over the final stages and reminded to ensure she fully drives her runner out to the end of the race.

JERRY GARCIA - broke after 150 metres losing its chance. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts at the request of trainer L O'Reilly.
SCARLETT BANNER - travelled keenly in the middle stages. Held up rounding the final bend and early stages of the run home.
RUTHLESS KAYLA - hung inwards rounding the final bend.
IZMOK - trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
TIJUANA TAXI - broke in the middle stages of the score up losing its chance.
FLYINOVA - broke near the 1500 metres losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.

THEODOSIA - broke shortly after the start. Broke at the 1600 metres and again briefly passing the 900 metres.
COUNT EYRE - lost a hind boot near the 1700 metres. Broke when leading at the 700 metres.
CELTIC THUNDER - raced wide early stages.
RACHMANINOV - sent to the unruly after displaying poor barrier manners. Will remain on the unruly for upcoming standing starts. Raced wide early and middle stages.

MADELEINE STOWE - hampered shortly after the start. Broke at the 1600 metres.
ONE NIGHT OUT - driver B Weaver dropped his whip at the 350 metres.

JESSE DUKE - shifted outwards at the 350 metres checking THE MOONSHADOW. Driver M Purdon warned for the manner in which he shifted ground.
BETTOR MY DREAMZ - hung outwards and locked wheels with MIGHTY FLYING ART near the 350 metres.
WAR DAN DELIGHT - raced wide early stages.
STARS TONIGHT - raced wide throughout. Raced roughly over the concluding stages and had to be steadied. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had pulled a front shoe during the running.
THE MOONSHADOW - raced wide throughout. Checked at the 350 metres.
ZINNY MACH - hampered at the 350 metres.
MEMPHIS TENNESSEE - placed in restricted room at the 350 metres.
A BETTOR ACT - driver N Rasmussen admitted using her whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $1000.
MIGHTY FLYING ART - had to be restrained racing into the first bend when awkwardly positioned on the inside of BETTOR MY DREAMZ which was shifting ground inwards. Locked wheels with BETTOR MY DREAMZ near the 350 metres losing ground.

ARNOLD - broke after 100 metres.
ARRAN CHIEF - began awkwardly and shifted inwards. Sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 500 metres with the tyre coming free of the rim.
THE DOMINATOR - hampered in the early stages. Broke passing the 900 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
SPLASH COLA - the connections advised the mare would be racing in season.
PRES THE BELLE - late scratching at 6.35pm on veterinary advice.
WAR MACHINE - broke at the start. Again broke at the 500 metres after contacting the wheel of ARRAN CHIEF. Driver A Lethaby admitted driving carelessly in this incident and the JCA imposed a fine of $250.

LA BELLA VITA - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier record.
MAMMA KNOWS BEST - raced wide early stages.

ELLE MAC - broke at the start.
ULTIMATE MACHETE - tangled briefly at the start. Held up briefly passing the 150 metres. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver M Purdon explained the entire had travelled lethargically throughout which had led to him shifting inwards near the 1000 metres to race closer to the pylons and overall he was disappointed with the horse's efforts. Mr Purdon added it was his intention to have blood tests taken in the coming days and undertook to notify Stewards of any irregularities identified.

LADY CHATTO - gave ground passing the 500 metres then compounded over the final stages being distanced at the finishing line. Driver and co-trainer M Purdon advised that he would be re-considering the horse's racing future from his stable in the coming days. A post-race veterinary examination revealed muscle tremors in the left stifle region.
QUEEN BEE BARDON - underwent a veterinary examination prior to the start due to having blood in its mouth and was cleared to start after it was confirmed the mare had bitten her tongue. Raced wide early and middle stages.
DIZZY MISS LIZZY - when spoken to regarding the mare's performance, driver B Orange explained that being fresh up tonight she had been unsuited to the fast tempo of the race and expected she would derive considerable benefit from the run.
BETTOR'S HEART - held up badly between the 500 metres and the 350 metres by a weakening runner. Paced roughly for several strides when attempting to shift outwards and being crowded for racing room by DIBABA which was shifting inwards simultaneously.

THE ALMIGHTY JOHNSON - began awkwardly. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver J Curtin explained he had been very disappointed with the efforts of his gelding. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.
MUSCLES GALORE - broke at the start.
BORDEAUX - broke at the 1500 metres. Broke again at the 900 metres.
WILMA'S MATE - hampered at the start and switched to a pace then galloped losing considerable ground.
BENCHMARK - broke briefly near the 600 metres.
GREAT THINGS HAPPEN - hampered near the 600 metres and had to shift wider.
QUEVERT - removed from the unruly for standing starts.
