K B LA SALLE - lay in rounding the final bend and placed in restricted room to the inside of a tiring runner resulting in it travelling over several track markers. | |
LAUSANNE LASS - broke a hopple connecting strap shortly after the start and as a result horseman J Curtin pulled the mare up over the early stages of the race. The gear was inspected and the Trainer was found not to be at fault. | |
MR INCREDIBLE - approaching the 600 metres the gelding was improved from the two wide to a three wide position. FORTUNE SMILES improved outwards to its inside and the gelding shied away shifting outward checking SPICEY DELIGHT. A warning was placed on MR INCREDIBLE's racing manners record. | |

A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
